But Zik betray the Igbos too... his own people...

Awolowo never betrayed his own people the Yorubas....

This are just past tense... am sure we weren't born then and Nigeria was just 6 yrs old...

we are talking about 2017 ...

And don't give me example of 2015 election..

All politicians are criminals (PDP & APC), election scam... big one... you think their families are in Nigeria.... these daily killing is not affecting them....

ignore ur mistake and watch it repeat itself, azikiwe is nt even relevant in south east,if yoruba want us to forget d past they shud lead wit example we have past that cowardice stage,my codolence once again to igbos who are working in predominantly yoruba company, they might poison u sooner

Because of what happened before and during the Civil war....
what our forefathers out if their own limited knowledge did.

times have changed..... Imagine if they were Social Media then!!!!

Obviously the enemy was the North but they were false propagandas against the SE... it was risky either way..

Nigeria is mature now.....

Kaduna Petroleum College to become operational soon – Gusau

Published July 8, 2017

The Executive Secretary, Petroleum Technology Development Fund, Dr. Bello Gusau, says the National College for Petroleum Studies, Kaduna would soon become operational.

Gusau said this while answering questions from journalists on Saturday in Kaduna after inspecting the conduct of examination for the PTDF scholarship scheme.

The examination was conducted across the six geopolitical zones for candidates who applied to undertake Masters degrees in various courses related to the Oil and Gas sector.

The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that work on the college, awarded at over N15bn in 2009, was to be completed within within two years.

NAN reports that eight years after, the project still remained uncompleted.

The Executive Secretary, however, said that the project was at its final stage and “the institute would be operational sooner than later.”

The college is designed to run advanced professional courses for oil and gas workers in the ECOWAS sub-region.

Gusau said also that the PTDF had met with Vice Chancellors of 40 Federal Universities offering courses relating to Oil and Gas, so as to redirect its overseas scholarship award to local institutions.

The official said a substantial number of applicants taking the 2017/2018 PTDF scholarship test would be itted in Nigerian Universities already running courses in oil and gas related areas.

NAN reports that 4,949 shortlisted candidates sat for the examination nationwide.

The executive secretary assured that innovations had been introduced to ensure transparency and integrity of the process.

NAN reports that no fewer than 500 candidates with a significant number of women sat for the test in Kaduna centre, under the supervision of officials of the Federal Character Commission.
