To link MM airport from there, the best route to take is aswani road into osolo way and make a u turn at the airport road overhead bridge. Look at the map in the second picture very well.

This is never possible, the minimum fare is 600 and you got 1k because the trip was on a surge. If you like drive from epe to iyanapaja without "arriving and starting the trip" then do that afterwards nah 600 you go get.

I think Felicity001 is right, took a lady to the mmia, she was in a hurry as her dad forgot his port at home, we got there ended the trip fare was 1100, she asked i take her back, told her to re-order as I was chasing a bonus, I accepted and zoomed off, didn't even swipe arrived, got to her destination, opened my phone to see that I hadn't started the trip, I arrived and started trip, ended immediately, and fare was 1k. So it's quite possible felicity is right.

I usually call rider first. I usually greet first when they enter. I even carry their loads myself and put in the trunk. If it's about driving carefully, I am sure I do. Even before this hustle, when there was no car, if I go out with friends, they usually prefer I drive, even when they all can drive. Even my mom commends my driving skills. So what could be the problem? I usually dress well. Some of my clothes are pretty expensive......sneakers, wristwatches, cologne. Could it be that they see my car and dressing as too big for the job or what? I don't understand the reason for the drop in rating? Could it be that I communicate in clean oral English. My advice to starters, go buy a manual car and start the hustle because chances are high that u recoup Ur capital very quickly.

Bought a Nigerian used car, low mileage (59k) like that of Baz001 very neat interior and clean first body, tyres still intact with alloy rims and spare, excellent gear shift.

I'm going to factually analyse this stuff again for the last time, then anyone who goes ahead to get a hire purchase is free to do so at his own risk. I'll be using the bread and butter of every average uber driver, the 2006 Toyota corolla.

Fact 1
There is no hire purchase on a corolla that is less than 4,000,000 naira, unless it is by the special grace of God, the almighty.
Fact 2
Average weekly rental on a corolla is 30,000 naira, while weekly deposit on a HP is 35,000 naira.
Fact 3
A guy on HP must deliver 35k weekly unfailingly, with a 2 - 4weeks grace of delay in payment, and he must do so in 110 weeks.
Fact 4
An average driver must do 1000 miles a week of driving.
Fact 5 A driver on HP is responsible for All repairs on that corolla, for the next 110 weeks. While a driver on rental splits repairs with partner.
Fact 6 Every driver must be able to save 6k daily. Whether rental or HP, else you're just a fool.

Fact 7 A very good Tokunbo corolla should come with at least 170,000miles.

Now, there are 52 weeks in a year. Our HP driver has at least 2 years on his contract. Let's say he works for only 50weeks, cos partners will never hear story, he must always pay his installment. In fact, moove will not hear story, but I'm just trying to be conservative.

In 50weeks, he would have remitted 50 x 35,000 = 1,750,000 and added 50,000 miles to the corolla and car is not his yet. His mileage should now be 220,000 miles

the guy on rental, who pays 30k weekly, and who saves 6k daily? With the mentality of a hard working HP driver, but paying 5k less every week, he has a savings of 47k weekly.

47k x 50 = 2,350,000

So if my guy on rental gets a Nigerian used corolla at 220,000 miles, at the rate of 1.6m, he still has 750k to fix up car with.

Year 2, HP guy completes his payment, car is at 270,000 miles. Becomes his.

Former rental guy now adds 15k weekly to his savings, since he now drives his car 62,000 x 50 = 3,150,000.

You know coming from Oshodi towards the MMAI road, if you enter the expr through boladale you can access the MMAI rd easily ing in b4 7&8 b/s But if you enter through other links like Afariogun you won't be able to the Oworo-Apapa expr Rd again. That's how they've done it now...

So now, it was an unfortunate day for me as construction workers where busy constructing the pavement so there was no other way to the MMAI Rd unless through that slope that leads under the interchange and then back to the MMAI Rd, while and other interchange takes you back to the Oworo-Apapa Rd and maybe back to Oshodi/Anthony for those going that way. So I tried using that slope leading towards the MMAI Rd that was it ooh... No one-way road sign, nothing at all and as an experience driver and an someone that has understanding of road network couple with an engineering background there is no way you will ever argue with me that slope towards that MMAI Rd is a one-way.

You no police are always on that path, na so everywhere burst o... Unfortunately for me my rider said she was cold so I wind down and wasn't expecting anything of such at all because i was so sure that road is not one-way... Men...those idiots messed up my day. Na 25k I take settle dem collect my motor after much back and front... I just saw it that non of them are reasonable to talk with... Oya na make una charge me to mobile court na, them no gree... They where just dancing around...

2days later a man called on talk radio to complain about that same rd how police are cashing out on that rd with no one-way sign whatsoever...

I gave up more on that very day Nigeria.

Let me rant small

First congratulate me for winning Bolt's bonus for the first time yesterday. I was given a target of 7 trips, 7 hours online, 80% acceptance and completion rates to win 3200 bonus which I completed successfully.

Yesterday's surge was on another level. Surge was mainly at 1.9x. I ended a trip with two girls traveling to Benin and the price was 2800. The lady that paid was literally crying while blaming me for the cause of the high price. We got to Iyare bus park at Iyana Ipaja but were on the other side of the road. Instead of these ladies to come down and cross the road to the park, they insisted I must take them to the other side not knowing I would have to drive like 2km to make a U-turn and coming back had minor traffic. Surge was on 1.9x so I lose nothing even though I got another request already.

Another request took me and another Bolt driver from Iyana Ipaja to CMS and trip ended 8700. 1.9x surge.

I got another there that took me to Ajah and trip ended 6400 but the lady refused to pay oo. Saying that the money is much bla bla bla. I sha collected 6k from her and let her go with the 400. Trip was still 1.9x surge.

The last trip ruined my day completely but it's part of the hustle. It was around 7pm and I was set to go home. I set my destination trip and some Yahoo guys requested me. I went to a hotel where they were. They asked that I should wait for the fish they requested for to get ready. I waited for about 20 minutes before we started the trip.

Less than 500 meters on the Express, these miscreants diverted me into their estate different from the location they inputted in the app. Bolt wouldn't have given me their trip if it was that estate that they were going.

They asked that I should wait for them to drop the fish and get some things before we proceed to the place that they actually inputted in the app.

You can't believe that I waited for another 25 minutes for these guys only for one of them to come out with his car that I should end the trip.

I couldn't vex. I just ended the trip and it was 1100. I just don't want anyone to mess my day up any further.

That's how I drove for over one hour from Ajah to my house empty. It's all part of the business.

1. If you are coming from pen cinema, agege heading towards Fagba on iju road, you must use the roundabout by that Ifako international school
i.e take a slight right and slight left back to Iju road. DO NOT drive straight, use the roundabout. Though the roundabout (it has a statue of a guy /town crier) is not centrally placed on the road.

Lastma guys placed two of their red looking shapes on the road ( heading towards Fagba), an untrained eye will drive straight. Don't fall prey.


2. Watch out for the traffic light at ojuelegba underbridge,

I had same experience, from marina to ebutemeta. Eko holdup for like 2 hours when I ended trip is saw "ride in review" rider paid 3k but I know it was more because it was on 1.7 surge plus the hours in traffic

Ok, took this rider from VI to Shomolu after Unilag... Trip staryed at about 6:15pm or thereabouts, GMap took me through some inner streets in Marina believing to cut off some traffic because the traffic was mad. Came out on 3md the exit b4 clinical rd then went tru clinical rd to come out at Herbert McC Rd,...

Did some danfo driving... Tje traffic was mad and finished trip even b4 ETA in 90min instead of 180min. Ended trip and was robbing my head to relax, as I raised my head to see how much the fare was I was surprise to see that price was automatically under review... Wow!

I was like, who asked for price review? Rider too was surprised as me. I asked her what the estimate was she said 2800-3500.

So whats gonna happen because it can take bolt 24hrs to return a price review.

Rider offered to trx 5k saying in case its returns more than I should her for additional pay and I told her ok and in case iys returns less she should me for a refund.

Yesterday morning Bolt returned the review with N1900. I was like really?!!

Anyways, since rider already trx 5k to me I know if I context further they still not change it or rather increase it to 2.3k at most and that will further increase their commission as well and affect my current balance so I just accepted like that.

Went back to check for riders info thia morning but couldn't get her so i ed bolt for her number.
