For the kids to have gotten PPR on their visit visa, while you're the PA they'll be accompanying, your application is +ve and would be approved soon, because minors don't go through the eligibility check(s), hence, you would have ed the eligibility and that was why theirs got approved. Just hold your cool and await your PPR. Think of it literally, "if they don't grant you visa, na who go carry those kids enter Canada na"? Lol

I had similar experience, though on the study route.

I know this is a student visa forum but I think it’s a general question ….Applied for visit visa with 2 children since June 2022 . 2 days ago my children got their ppr and I’m still waiting to receive mine . The only mail I got was Correspondence letter on the same day and nothing afterwards . I went to submit my children’s port and they have approved and even updated it on the portal . I’m the main applicant and very confused cos I still don’t get it . What could be the issue ? Has anyone experienced anything like this .

The Hectic Point;
After completing medicals on the 2nd of Sept. 2022, spouse and kids medicals were updated within hours. On the 17th spouse got PPR, mine and kids got withheld, boom.....letter for repeat of medical (sputum & X-ray) for TB investigation flew in via email from London. I was given 90days as usual. 22nd of Sept. i went for the sputun deposition, was told to wait for 8-10wks. 19th of December, i called IOM only to be told to wait till 22nd, but then i had already perceived the sputum culture results were -ve. The lady told me i must obey the instruction, that infuriated me, instantly i threatened them with a lawsuit, "BOOM".......they immediately sent my sputum -ve result and instantly booked me for repeat X-ray on the 20th of December 2022 (2days before their stipulated due date - 22nd), only to find out the sputum -ve result had been released to them by the physician 26days aback but they kept it with them. 20th i turned up, was made to hands-up for almost 45mins for shut after shut to an extent my hands lost stimulus. Meanwhile i had gone through same "bruhaha" on the 2nd of Sept i went with family, as they had to call me back 5x for repeat of X-ray. Fast forward, IOM physician ordered me to consult a Specialist Pulmonologist for details lungs examination, which i did instantly (US$100) per hour was the cheapest i got. Baba Pulmonologist invited me on the 22nd of December 2022 for the examination, did all and drafted his findings as "No TB symptoms or any suggestive finding". Boomm.....baba Pulmonologist ordered me to another allied but next door X-ray centre. The X-ray was performed but burnt onto a CD plate, sealed and handed to me to return to the baba Pulmonologist. Went back and he reviewed the film on his computer, still nothing suggestive of TB. Boom, baba Pulmonologist referred me to the country's TB centre for Tuberculin skin/Mantox test (injection with Purified Protein Derivative/PPD). Rushed there but they had knocked off for the day. "23rd na me wake dem up", took the shut, it swelled up but flattened after 15mins. Was instructed to return in the next 72hrs for review of the injection site and certification . 26th of December, "Boxing Day" na me still wake dem up. The nurse checked and found the injection site vanished, consequently issued a PPD -ve certificate. Immediately i forwarded it to IOM, cc to Baba Pulmonologist and bombarded IRCC both via webforms and emails, engaged the Kitchener MP Hon. Mike's office as well, his office acted on it right away because they had been following up with the IRCC right from the 85th day post submission of our apps. Hon. Mike's office responded within 24hrs with the update given by the IRCC. 3wks later, PPRs rained in. Can't even feel those tamtrums that transpired.

After the medical. I got an email from a London medical report asking me to go back for another. Which I did and then IOM sent me a mail saying that my result came out negative and that I should come back next month 13th for. Which is 2 weeks from now

Its quite unfortunate this transpired. However, on what date did you receive that sputum (TB) test email from the London Physician and on what date did you go for the sputum sample collection? This is because, IRCC gives 90days time frame from the date they alerted you to go for this additional medical test. Hence, kindly respond to the above then we shall figure out what excatly webt wrong. As i also received same email from same London Physician.

IRCC sent wife's SOWP PPR on the 17th of September holding my SP and those of this kids. Immediately after they laid Madam Eliza to rest, na so dem hammer their Papa with TB suspicion wahala ooo. I almost had my scull cracked coz i was in Ankara ironing out embassy wahala when the TB email from London came in oo. How i managed to myself on a speed train back to Istanbul within 4hrs i still can't figure out till date. Rushed to IOM Alaye Turkish Dr preached to me and collected samples immediately oo. Now telling me "see you in 12wks time"! Eeewwweeeeee........

Please I used an agent to book my flight from Lagos to Saskatoon, my mind told me to check the status of my ticket through Egyptair, so I ed their App and with our details (Myself, wife, and 14 months old toddler )

These are my observations when I to our tickets

1. The cost of our flight is 2.267m but he charged me 2.796m, that's a tune of 526k just to book a flight

2. He attached my baby to my wife, they both shared the same booking reference code, he charged me 122,000 for the baby but when I check online, I saw one traveler, which is my wife.
Has anyone traveled with their toddler and experienced this issue? Does my baby need to have her separate reference or reflect on my wife's ticket?

3. I have ed the agent, and his explanation of the overcharging aspect was kept aside. He insisted that my baby would reflect if Egyptair check us in.

Please help me with any available information as regards this toddler traveling with her mother.

It was announced in the 3 quarter of 2021 that all those who applied for Visitor visa during the lockdown should reapply via the New portal. Hence, this is the main reason the new portal was setup.

Kindly submit a fresh application, as i have a friend who submitted twice in the course of the lockdown but till date, null and void, hence, he is now preparing for a study permit application.

For those willing to go by this; Belize is another country one could enter and leave for Canada after the 14days quarantine. I know it would sound a strange country, but it's in the Caribbean just sharing borders with Mexico. It has a consulate in Abuja and since the Consul is a Nigerian, I think it would be easy to get its visa for #75k. Also consider countries with visa on arrival policy for Nigeria PP holders like Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda Guinea, because these ones close by will soon start Shakara. Just my little Kobo.
