I served at Sagamu (which is where the orientation camp is). It was fun, taught in a secondary school, the people were very friendly and accomodating, cept for the fact that they had some exploitative tendencies (once u cant speak yoruba) and they used to think corpers have money. I learnt to eat amala with ewedu and enof pomo, i also leant to eat beans (ewa) and bread (without using spoon) usually u use the bread to scoop the beans. The beauty of serving in ogun state is Lagos is not far away and u can start attending interviews towards the end of ur nysc provided u graduated with a good degree. Just zero ur mind and have fun, dont go there with any prejudice in mind. 5 Likes |

police now forming actor now abi? they had this evidence since april, it was a sting operation i think? it took 2 months to declare farouk wanted for a prima facie case. hell is sure empty, all the demons are in abuja 3 Likes |

Basic questions nobody is asking: If this was a sting operation as Otedola claims, why didnt the police/sss arrest farouk lawan since a prima facie case was already established, why did they have to wait for otedola to blow out before taking up the case. Otedola issued this bribe since april, why did it take him so long to make public the involvement of lawan in the bribe scandal. Lawan claimed to have handed the moneys to the national assembly duely informing them, how come the national assembly never made mention of it till now. Conclusion: They are just playing on our intelligence, both parties are up to something we never will know. Bunch of idiots. 2 Likes |

I only pray God of the bible and Allah of the quaran hastens action on these corrupt lot. 'cos like my friend said, "hell is empty, all the demons are in abuja" milking us dry....ish 1 Like |

From time, deep within us, we all know GEJ is incompetent, no traceable records of laudable achievements in any position he has held b4 never contested any elections in his life, was always a running mate till he became acting president. i wonder why we expect any miracle from him. lets be honest, some of us voted him becos our pastors asked us to. the only consolation i have is that i never voted for him. 8 Likes |

Power supply was a bit ok in my area (like 12hrs a day) until 2months ago when our transformer 'blew'. We are told it will take 500k to fix it. Uptil now we still waiting but am suspecting same phcn officials are removing some parts of the transformer to go fix other transformers. so far, there's no solution in sight.

adefash: this is what some of us fail to understand. break up of this kind will never be peaceful and unlike biafra hay days, i cant see any refgion with visionay leaders capable of taking any side to the promised land. for some of us spewing nonsense here about creating ur republics, first ask urself hw u going to go about it without any leader at the helm. the ibos for example have too many proud people that may not want to come under another leader to fight a common cause. Even ojukwu was able to lead owing to the fact that he was a soldier, a civilian would hardly have suceeded. The north is in total disarray, no thanks to the creation of geopolitical zones. the middlebelt hardly exist in reality, its a figment of our imagination. may be the west will try if they let Tinubu |

jennykadry: I gave up when Joshua leftsame here! may be i had more sympathy for him because he is black. the truth remains that Joshua was the most talented of them all, earning more standing ovations from the judges than any contestant in idols history. then again, the votes are definitely more stronger than the judges. Congratulations to philips though, at least i know for sure he is a better singer than jessica |

Barton should just quit playing football. He lacks the true spirit of sportsmanship. He can never be seen in positive light. I think he is the most redcarded player in football history.

I'm not too good with the Nigerian constitution but i think too much power is been given the executive arm of govt. they decide who to reinstate or not, who to prosecute or not, who to imprison or not. they even decide who lives and who dies. this is too much power jare. |

1. That a democracy is different from the military, in democracy, loyalty is not the question, what matters is the interest, no permanent friends, no permanent enemies. Even though he's got no permanent friends, he's got permanent enemies. 2. That in life, if you are irreplaceable, u cannot be promoted; Buhari does not seem to be grooming any successor to on his ideologies to, if anything happens to him, there'll hardly be anybody to carry on with his ideologies and no one should mention el rufai 'cos before next election, I'm sure he'll be in another political party. 3. That politics is not just about wits, its more about charm and charisma and for a man who hardly smiles and seem to have speech impediment when it comes to spoken english, it will be hard for him to convince the younger generation who were not yet born during his military junta. (the last presidential debate comes to mind). 4. That for a diverse country like Nigeria, u cant win a presidential election by regionalising your campaign and outreach, consultation must reach the ends of the entire country. 5. That you dont work for yourself alone, at the end of the day, governance is about having a solid backing. May i ask how many senators/house of reps are from his party, how many governors? Assuming he won the presidential election how well would he have governed with over 90% of elected positions going to opposing political parties. The last election comes to mind - once he didnt win, he withdrew without working for governorship aspirants in his party who stood better chances in the north. 6. Lastly, he should never cry in public, for pete's sake he is a trained soldier, retired general at that. |

how is Downing (Liverpool) better than Johnson (Mancity), Lenon (Totenham) who are not even on standby and Sturidge (Chelsea) on standby. And how come Cahil (Chelsea) with injury worries is prefered to Smalling (Man U)? Methinks the selection is not a fair one. |

methinks at the end of the day, the selling point of the movie will be determined by who plays ugwu's role and how well the person plays the character of ugwu. all this concentration on who plays olana or odenigbo or kainene wont sell this movie so well. get a funny character to interprete ugwu's role perfectly and that's all. |

As for me i say: O God reduce the plenty money Nigeria has 'cos we dont have any idea on how to spend it, maybe if we had little, there wont be enof for politicians/public office holders to steal. This has been my prayer since the subsidy removal saga. 1 Like |
