I thought I was the only one that noticed since he's going from asaba why didn't he enter ontisha that is closer and enter night bus directly to maiduguri using the ontisha/enugu/benue/jos/bauchi/yobe and maiduguri route it is much safer and faster and the journey most times no go 24hrs
Guy man followed kaduna route that is plagued with insecurity and will take him almost 3 days to complete the journey
Pls can one get direct night bus from Port Harcourt to Maiduguri?

Ok, do you have idea of the transportation cost and can one easily get direct bus to Mali or Senegal from there?

Other african countries are not as terrible as you think .. most of them offer you good security , atleast 22 hours of electricity and a good enviroment for business which is not guaranteed in Nigeria.. ordinary Togo is a very great place to be .. I am currently in the Gambia and it is really wonderful here .

Lately, I've been thinking about Guinea Bissau sad

No direct Bus from Lagos to Abidjan currently as the borders are still closed.
So... now, how best can we go to Abidjan if we can't get a straight bus and the 'bit by bit' route seems stressful coupled with crossing of some rivers as someone said above?

Or is there a possible route through the northern borders

What age are you,if you are in onitsha I would have loved to work with you here before anything. I love female hustlers, genuine ones, I gave out new ones on hire purchases,I don't deal on used ones only new ones

Chief, with the way you're 'lol-ing', you seem to be familiar with the route. smiley cheesy

But if you're as familiar with that route as I am, 30-35k or max 40k will get you to Abidjan. 18k got me and my fiance to Seme from Aflao last December.

what of from Benin Republic to Senegal through Mali?
JoeLohic: 2:56pm On Oct 27, 2022
plantainbender:
Easy peezy! Get to Seme border, get a bike to 'cross' you to the Benin Republic side of the border, approach any of the BDCs, do the exchange.

One thing with African currencies is that, the farther you are to the host country, the lesser the value you get in exchange.

that is, if you have some Cedi with you in Lagos & you want to change to Naira, you'll get less value for the the Cedi compared to when you want to do same in Togo, Ghana or Ivory Coast.

So in essence, are you saying I might get a better offer of exchange rate in Lagos than in Benin Republic?
JoeLohic: 2:20pm On Oct 27, 2022
plantainbender:
Mind you, it's more expensive if you go direct to Abidjan from Lagos with one bus; way cheaper if you go bit by bit. 70-80k direct bus to Abidjan from Lagos but max 30k if you go bit by bit. Selah!
Pls, do you know how one can easily change NGN to CFA at the borders?

Not any more. Nigerians were allowed before but later got banned. Only Gambians are now allowed. I'm sure Senegalese also operate, because both of them are almost same.

No. Nigerians are not allowed to go into transport in The Gambia.

The rooms will contain bathroom and toilet and kitchen.

Business in The Gambia is a vast topic, narrow it down so I know how to answer.
How will they know I'm a Nigerian??
What if I disguise myself?
JoeLohic: 9:53am On Oct 25, 2022
Pallazzo:

By road, 120k estimate for transport. I've posted air travel fare before.
90k for 6 months rent at 15k per month. This will be a room or if you're lucky, a room and parlor.
Getting a teaching job in Sec Schools is a bit easier for Nigerians. The pay can be from 30k to 60k per month depending on school. You can also do study (home lesson). I know someone that makes more than 120k/month only on home lesson, while school pay him 50k.

If you're into business, starting maybe hard because so many Nigerians, Senegalese and other foreigners are into business already. But with time, you can catch up and get going.
How is transportation business over there?
Like Tricycles (Keke) brand of transportation... Do you think one can easily go into it there?

Meanwhile, the 90k room, does it include toilet/bathroom and where to cook?

Yes. Your business will do well here. Here is the take. Do not close the one in Onitsha. Since you are already into the business. Get 2 to 5 Keke here and start. You see the business is sweet here. Management is not a problem whether you are here or not. You will see your money. No stories. Hope this helps
Oya ooo...

Who says NO Nigeria resides in South Sudan? Personal I have a friend whose brother who could not feed his family when he was living in Nigeria, but who migrated to South Sudan some years ago is now a multimillionaire. He has taken many of his brothers and in-laws over there and they are doing very well. This man single handedly built a multi million naira church in his village. Give all his brothers and in-laws he took over there $10k each to start up a business. He's into Auto parts business. My take is, any where you are and God chooses to you, you will excel, even if it was inside a pit selling pure water. Just make sure you have God's backing and leading in whatever you do and wherever you go. Thank you.
Whoa!!!!
Really, this is interesting.

a very intelligent person gave and dropped a very important hint about the best place to go to here in this thread and i am shocked that no one picked it up and thank God the person didnt repeat it .
this is one issue why very few people become successful and majority become part of the masses , masses are plenty and crowd but success belongs only to those who dare to be different , majority still have their eyes on where everyone has their eyes on ,uk canada, usa etc .
while those who dare to be different are cashing out in millions weekly where others dare not look or venture into.
You are right, we hardly read anything else if it's not what we already set our heart on.
