This is my first time doing this, I'm not really a full time farmer. But the one I planted, paid 1000 naira per congo. A congo is like ten tins of milk. Unpeeled ones. Peeled ones is around 300 naira per tin of milk. I hope this help.

Thank you, do you have an idea how much each watermelon sells for over there once harvested?

The journey started towards the end of February when I started the clearing of the yet to be developed 5 plots of land around my house.
I have two reasons for doing this:
One: to push the busy around my house back
Two: to get me busy every morning before I go out for the day as I actually have plenty of time on my hand grin
I equally bought and planted hybrid of water melon among the melon, about 100 seeds for N4500.
This was planted middle of March after the first rain.

Well-done op.

Please how much do you farmers sell your watermelons over there and how do go about getting buyers?

Yes it reset for both profit and loss each day, again it is calculated based on whichever Is higher between your equity and balance

Thank you. I appreciate your response.

I really don't know about there withdrawal process, but I think it is stated in there rules that you DD count from which ever is higher btw your equity and balance.

But does the 5% daily drawdown reset for losses? E.g I make a loss of $200 on a $5000 leaving me with a balance of $5000, does it reset my daily drawdown loss to 5% of $5000 or it remains the same the next day?

for the funded , does the 5% daily drawdown reset after profit is withdrawn, e.g: I made a profit of $450 on a $5000 and then withdraw $400 of profits, leaving my balance at $5050, what would be my next daily drawdown the next day?

Good morning folks, i lost my 5ers $1 last night which boss DXYY got me in December last year. I am fully responsible for my faults and action, and I am very sad that not only did I let myself down but I also let down boss DXYY and boss infofirst. @boss DXYY, I still want to appreciate you for giving me the opportunity, it was my first prop . I simply bleeped up because I was deeply in drawdown, and then I started pyramiding into my trades with the hope of getting out of draw down fast. simply put i wasn't disciplined in my money management. And lately I have been in a serious dilemma, getting into a trade isn't and issue for but getting out has become more of a problem for me due to greed, this has become more of a problem has lately all and I mean all my winning trades end up as losing trades and it's affecting my psych, on Tues, I had a profitable trade on US30 which went down 300 pips, I was so confident that when priced pull back I added another short position which I wanted to swing and hold up till I yesterday because I was sure I was going to come in strong when I woke up yesterday morning to check the trade not only did it reversed, it my stoploss on both trades. I am having problem setting realistic targets for trades and I think it's all becos of my greed.

@Boss gabsonfx, peteregwu, kaybee, and all other traders here, please how do you guys tackle indiscipline in your trading, pls I in all honesty need your help

Good morning boss,

Please I'd like to ask you some questions concerning the 5ers.

Dear Nairalanders and rs.

Nairaland's server was taken down by our host's abuse team because of an abuse report that wasn't attended to on time.

After rectifying the error, we brought the server back for a few minutes, but they decided to take the server down again. Since then, we haven't heard from the abuse team, yet the team keeps insisting that only the abuse team can help us.

So we had to transfer Nairaland to a temporary host in order to bring it back to you. A VERY time-consuming process. We are not fully back, even though most features of the site are working. We still have a long way to go. Additional downtime is likely; don't let it alarm you.

There's a lot more to say, but I have to go back to work to ensure that our return is permanent. Please forgive us for the stress we caused. We appreciate the love and that you showed us during the ordeal. Nairaland is too important for us to let this happen again.

Best Regards,
Seun Osewa.

Hi sir, nice to hear that nairaland is partially back. But can you explain to us what the abuse was?

The British recommended 10 regions Nigeria didn't listen

Go read wilinks report of 1959

We may not have had the one recommended by the wilinks report of 1959 but we had a regional system that was very similar and I'm very sure that even if we followed the report it still wouldn't have made any difference best case scenario is that regions with more power than the central would have since left and formed their own individual countries.

mrvitalis:

It's very possible to build a great country with 250 ethnic nationalities ...but impossible to build a single nation out of them

Nigeria's key problem is we are a country but running like a nation and we can never be a nation

Before the British left they recommended Nigeria practice regional system with 10 regions each region almost completely independent and each of those regions have province in line with tribal or sub tribal line that are also semi independent ....so we have 3 level of government each semi independent

Instead we created states along randomly drawn ,and local governments with randomly drawn boundaries ...then gave 60% of power to the president 38% to governors and 2% to local governments

If the regional system left by the British was soo perfect it wouldn't have fallen apart shortly after they left, tell me one nation or country that is thriving and successful with over 250 ethnic groups within it?
JimiJunji: 9:39pm On Feb 01, 2023
If we really want to be honest with ourselves there's no way 250+ ethnic groups with diverse political, social and cultural interests all lumped in one country can build a successful society, it's against every law of human nature and common sense. But greed and a general lack of critical reasoning is the bane of alot of Nigerians. I hardly comment on nairaland but reading this I just had to, in a few days Nigerians would go to the polls to try the same thing that has been giving them the same results..... It's really depressing.

JimiJunji: 5:42pm On Jun 22, 2022
If given the option to choose between your candidate becoming president or a restructured Nigeria that recognizes all ethnic groups equally and reduces the power of the president while increasing the power of the state and local government? Which would you pick....

Restructuring or your candidate in Aso Rock?

In as much as I like the analysis but im a little bit skeptical about it...I lost my first ever MFF due to that, I was 17% up on 8th week , unfortunately lost the due to daily drawdown, I carried a trade overnight with 5.8% profit , the next day the equity dropped by -5.2% , got a message from them tagged ,"hard breech" that was how I lost the , no withdrawal ..I became I'll overnight with HBD. Learnt my lessons .

Hi, isn't draw down calculated based on an s’ or the scale up phase’s starting balance?
JimiJunji: 3:10pm On Jun 06, 2022
Like seriously speaking I've been following nigerian political spaces and conversations on Twitter and nairaland and omo, it's a jungle. The tribal, religious and partisan gbasgbos can be really intense. Sometimes I see Nigerian masses(especially those who argue and fight for politicians) as dogs and the politician they being the owner of the dog, each dog is fighting for his owner while the owners sit and watch. It's like this one twitter and nairaland, everyone is trying to push the agenda of their masters especially Twitter influencers. From all this all I see is the hypocritical and self serving nature of the average Nigerian. Most of the folks pushing their respective politician aren't really doing it because they think that such person can actually change Nigeria for the better but the fact that it appeals to their personal, tribal or religious interest and not the general interest of the country. Forget the fake outrage and performative activism, most really don't care about what happened in owo, what's happening in the north or the south east it's all about strategic positioning and clout that's why they're quick to move on from any disaster.

These are just my thoughts I felt to share on nairaland.
JimiJunji: 1:14am On Jun 05, 2022
Why do Nigerians think that the success of an ethnic group depends on their presence in aso rock Asian Americans who are one of the most successful groups in America aren't really represented in government compared to other races, Jewish people have never had their person in the white house but they're successful. Northerners have been ruling Nigeria yet no real development in the north and igbos who haven't ruled are arguably one of the richest in the country. Presidency is overrated.
