You really know God's mind and still full of curse even to your dear country. God forgive you. Whatever he does affect all Nigeria. When you talk like this, it is not Tinubu that will be affect. Even you the owner of the curse cannot escape the effect of your curse.
Let us be careful with our utterances over this country. You are not the only one that vote Obi and if you love this country you will stop this curse and wait till 2027 for God to help us through our vote other means suitable by him to remove all the troublers of this country called Nigeria.

Do they have the logical mind? They are only pained that they do not have free access to money. Many Nigerian are full of sentiments. It is not the problem we have in the country that is their pain, even including El-Rufai, it is because they have been cut off.

That is their pains and why they lost the logical mind.

Mr. Assessor, do you have capacity to lead Nigeria? Let us know your capacity first before you talk about 2 governor. Then we will understand your comment on NDLEA better.

At times because we see ourselves as not capable of something, we often think others are like us and we assess them from our tiny and uninformed biased mindset.

CoronaVirusPro:
The NDLEA has had a lot of setbacks and underfunded in the last 2 decades and the repercussions are becoming a societal menace that has made a large chunk of the Nigerian population to believe in every fictional dream that gets into their head.

How does one explain this calamity! That Seyi believes that he has the capacity and what it takes to become President? I think he needs to be specific cos definitely not the President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria.

How! How was such aspiration born. Oh! He probably thinks because he shares same first name with Honorable Seyi Tinubu puts him in line of becoming the President.

Someone should please wake Seyi up. The best he can aspire to be after his tenure is President of Bodija Traders Association.

Stop this no sense talk. If he had not pick this one up, will there be any serious awareness on this stupid behaviour.

Instead of you to put your voice to discourage this behavior and appreciate the courage of a reasonable Nigeria, look at what you type.

Don't you know that rain comes with a drop before it becomes flood. It is your drop and mine with VDM that becomes that flood.

You're too quick to talk. Don't be like Gov. Sim Fubara that was making mouth some months ago. You have only seen El-Rufai move and you are talking this much. Relax and watch the game.

AMINDA:

APC is expending all its arsenal on Elrufai. "When you corner a rat, it will fight back". The so-called master strategist should have known this. They pushed Elrufai until he had his back to the wall and left him no room to wriggle. What did they expect him to do? Even in of optics, Tinubu has lost the moral high ground because all Nigerians saw how hard Elrufai worked for his election. There is also a public video of Tinubu begging Elrufai in Kaduna to stay behind and work with him. That alone screams betrayal and Northerners do not take betrayals lightly.

It's because of the concept of "Trust" (Amana) that made many Northerners go against Buhari’s body language to Tinubu in the first place. Northerners take pride in keeping their word no matter what. Why then would Tinubu break that trust? He gambled. Elrufai was never a direct threat to Tinubu. At best, his competitors were other Northerners like Ribadu. If Tinubu wanted to take his pound of flesh from Elrufai, he should have waited until his second tenure was secured. That's what a smart politician would have done.

Elrufai is a very dependable ally but a very formidable foe. Tinubu can no longer get 5.6m votes in the North with Elrufai openly campaigning against him and I don't see him making up for that deficit anywhere in the South. Not with his lopsided appointments. Maybe Tinubu thought Elrufai would be desperate and go contest the election in another party thereby further splitting Northern votes. How wrong he was! Elrufai would do more damage in 2027 without being on the ballot than if he was on it. There's no Northerner currently in Tinubu’s cabinet that can counter the damage that Elrufai will do.

The US is about to enter into it's century of humiliation.

No one respects them anymore, talkless of fear. The world now sees through their hypocrisy. How hard they've fallen.

Their greatest undoing was fighting a proxy war against Russia. I believe Russia was placed in this world by God to check the excesses of western powers, especially the US.

The US no longer lead in the technological sphere. China is at least 40 years ahead. Even experts in the US say this.

Na lie. So because they are sending back their escapees back to where they came from is the reason why they lost respect.

Then what is the respect all about?

A hilarious video of a Ugandan family celebrating Christmas with a feast has sparked a lot of online chatter. In the video, people are seen eating together from large trays filled with an assortment of food, while the table in front of them is packed with a variety of drinks.

What makes the video even funnier is the sight of some women in the kitchen, asleep with their hands still in the trays, showing they dozed off while eating!

The video has led many to question the common stereotype about Africans not having enough food to eat.

Enjoy the funny video!

The women must have done the cooking and are very tired. Is it easy to cook for such number of people to eat in that size of trays?

Kudos to the women, like my wife

Three questions:

1.
Why is there so much noise or controversy about Sharia court in SW?

2.
Will the Sharia court handle cases that involve non-Muslims?

3.
I sincerely thought that Sharia court is in line with the Islamic faith. If this thought is correct and the Sharia court handles only the cases that involve only Muslims, why should a Yoruba person that willingly practises Islam in Yoruba land reject Sharia court in Yoruba land?

Those who are kicking against Sharia court in Yoruba land may have valid reasons for doing so. But I will not take side with them when I have not known their reasons. So, I sincerely need those people kicking against the Sharia court in Yoruba land to answer my questions.

You will do good to tell us the conditions that permit establishing Sharia Law. Being a Muslim is one but not all the needed criterias. How will it be managed? Where will the budget comes from? And every other conditions that will not be biased on the resources and jurisdiction of other religion in the southwest.

To be candid with you, separating jurisdiction among people of mix believes will precipitate terrible disunity. Go and check the state where it is being truthfully practiced in Nigeria and convince us with the good results and development that emanate from Sharia law.

Please don't start quoting countries outside Nigeria. Use the state in Nigeria where it is being practiced and highlights all the benefits. Thanks

Many people are jumping to conclusion just based of off the snippet of the video posted by the Bolt delivery driver.

The Bolt driver was very disrespectful and lacks customer service. His demeanor shows he doesn't like his job and doesn't want to be there. He ordered the man to come outside and pick up his food. Hon. Ikwechegh said no, he needs to bring it inside, which is expected as that's why people use such delivery services and pay the extra delivery fees. What if Hon. Ikwechegh was sick and couldn't make it outside? This is what delivery service is for. Otherwise, it's meaningless. They can as well go outside and drive to the restaurant themselves.

Hon. Ikwechegh even called the restaurant asking what's going on as he couldn't understand why the driver is acting in this manner. If I were him, I would have asked him to return the food. Can't trust eating a food delivered by a driver having an attitude.

Yes, his actions were wrong but the bolt driver was very disrespectful to order a man that lives in an upscale part of the city and obviously an honorable member to come outside. If he had his security detail, they would dealt with him and rightfully so. Delivery driver is a customer service job, you have to do it respectfully.

It appears this could also be premeditated by the bolt driver, like he's been there before, perhaps, didn't like his tip and decided to set him up by acting disrespectfully.

You must be one of those people who make their fellow men a slave because of money.

Mind you, it wasn't the youth that elect him . How many youth belongs to the delegates?
See delegates can never represent Nigeria even though I know that 80% of Nigerians focuses more on their immediate and not future.

Prosper123:
Since Tinubu emerged victorious in the APC presidential primaries, he has been congratulated by many, especially the Yorubas.
While I believe that Tinubu is a political juggernaut, but his victory and praise reveal the true color of Yorubas. They have chosen him because of tribe and sentiment without putting the country into consideration.

They easily chose him forgetting about the lekki toll gate saga, saying he is a real politician. What is wrong with the youth?

They have forgotten about his health issues and say he can handle the country anyways. A man that jitters when he talks. Watch the APC primaries, on one occasion, he staggered as he was climbing down the podium.
I could have gone for the young Osibanjo or any other option.

They have forgotten about the cases of corruption raised against him.

Many of the people from the south wanted a Christian to take the helm of affairs as the next president. Many Christians from Yorubas wanted that, but since Tinubu emerged, the Yorubas, both the Christians and Muslims have forgotten about what they believed could be best for the country at the moment.
When we talk about religion, they tell us they are liberals. Nothing could be more fearful of the truth.

Let us tell ourselves the truth.
The south has been betrayed by our Yoruba brothers in the south. They have revealed their true colors. They have always benefitted more from the North because they easily bend, feigning knowledge of politics.

Until we are true to these issues, the youth will always be in chains in this country.

I know many would say I'm wailing, but it seems we are not ready to change the country.
Tomorrow, the youths are the ones to cry , we need to change the country, fight corruption, and what nice rhetoric. But we have decided to sell our today off based on sentiment.

This is a vicious circle holding the country. When it gets worse, let us not cry again. Let us live with the monster we have groomed. The old ones have fooled us, but we keep fooling ourselves the more.

You are already a man since 18 years. So you should summon courage and take responsibility. Don't abort the baby, pls. Bear the shame for the child and do not ignore the lady if she is willing to go with you. Try as much as possible to help her education. She doesn't need to drop out of school. Let her also be ready to face the secret shame you people have been enjoying now in the public.

Keep the baby. Help the lady and you people should move on positively irrespective of what comes to you from the families and friends because you guys dashed their and really disappointed them.

Just be responsible.

The two of should also ask God for forgiveness and allow Christ to guide your lives henceforth. At least you have enjoying sin till now. Turn now to God and let Him help your pieces. God is willing. Shalom

New222:
I won't try to sugarcoat it. I'm 25 years old, she's 19. Still in university because of the endless ASUU strike.

I've been having unprotected sex with this particular girl for a long while now. We've been dating for close to two years. I practise the "withdrawal" and "safe" days method. I met her a Virgin too.

Just realised she's pregnant. She started showing a lot of symptoms. Darkened areolas, nausea, breast heaviness, headache, back pain e.t.c.

I asked her to get do a pregnancy strip test and it came positive. Two red lines.

Though it's not what I ever planned for myself, I won't really mind having a child at my age. People will so much insult me, including my family but I'm sure my family will take care of the child.

The issue is the girl. Her family (Deeper Life) are wahala, big wahala. Educated people that behaves as if they never went to school. Now, we detected very early, her first period is supposed to start tomorrow (which I'm sure she'll miss). She's still very young and about to start schooling. I'm sure her dad will disown her (he once sent her away from his home over a slight misunderstanding, refused to let her back in until it was shown she was innocent).

I told her we have two choices, keep the baby or remove it. I am confused too, but I didn't show it. Pls what do you think?

We're really considering ending the pregnancy. Since it's very early, I'm considered getting m...p......r..l. I need medical advice pls. Above all, I don't want to endanger the girl's life.
I've read about abortion pills. I don't know how to get them or their price. Or should we keep the baby? Her dad will surely disown her, might later accept her, but it will definitely end her Education. What do you think? Should we get the drugs pls. Or consider another option? Should we keep the baby?

P.S: I know nairaland. I've been here for years, insult are welcomed. I never imaginned I'll ever open a thread like this.

P.S: If you're using withdrawal method and it works, it WILL STILL EVENTUALLY FAIL YOU. I used it for a really long time, now I'm here.

First, Accept Jesus Christ into your heart. Confess this sin of lust before Him genuinely and request for the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

(Prov.28.13 - He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy).

Secondly, if there is any genuine christian brother around you, confide in him by telling him. Together pray earnestly for mercy.

Thirdly, begin to occupy your heart with the word of God. Your heart must not be empty because the demonic taught will come again.

(Rom.12.2 - And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God).

Lastly, deal with idleness by attending fellowship and engage in personal bible study and praying. You can add fasting to it

Shalom
