Hello everyone, I know the website says you can only apply for an emergency interview if you fall within certain categories. My question however is, is it possible for someone attending their son’s wedding ceremony to apply for an emergency interview? Especially if such person’s previous interview was canceled by the embassy.

Not all schools agree to this though, some insist on shipping it to the student while the student pays. But it shouldn’t be more than $100, I paid $85 for mine to be shipped From Georgia.
The agent just wants to cash out.

it’s not showing anything for me too that’s what I’ve been worried and complaining about over two weeks ago..
Yesterday I was lucky someone from their customer service picked and the white woman told me that it’s normal which I doubt that, she said because there was no available dates in Lagos on my page, and what might be one someone’s page would be different
She was just talking many many I just said okay
Even after I told her I created a new CGI profile and was seeing January 11 2022 she was saying profiles are different
And I shouldn’t create an new profile if I already have one and have made use of it before
This people just want to stress Someone

Seems only people with full funding are sharing visa approval transcripts.
I don't have full funding not even half full so I get excited and nervous reading visa transcripts approved with full fundings seems that's a norm here nw.

I have a good statement from my sponsor, I pray that would suffice. Lord let your favour grace and goodness go with me on the 20th if November, I pray in Jesus name!

This has sincerely been my worry, like I think everyone whose visa has been approved here had full funding.
Please to the gurus, do they actually give people without full funding visas?

When did you submit a request and can you help with the reason for emergency that u wrote ?

I submitted it last Tuesday (3rd November).
My reason was that Failure to secure a visa means I’ll lose my ission as I’ve already deferred once.

My Emergency request was just approved now, Abuja Embassy. I’ve been able to reschedule from February 2021 to November 23.
I don’t know if this information would be helpful to anyone here.

Some things are wrong with your transcript.
1. Who picks University of Louisiana over USC and ODU? USC ranks way ahead of U of L. Even ODU ranks higher. Maybe you didn't get it to USC but you sounded like you did.

2.) Inconsistencies on why you chose the school. Besides, your response for this wasn't good enough.

3.) Home ties.

4.) It doesn't seem your research are is a research area.

5.) Funding (which is not even the main reason).

From what I see, you used an agent for this application.

So sorry for your denial. I believe that you will stand a better approval when you address these.

I'm so sorry, but I have no idea how they got the one they gave me.

I just followed the guy to an office, he logged into a website, entered info from my port and GTWorld receipt, and gave me the CGI paper.

I saw some people holding just the GT receipts and began assuming that I'd been scammed, but when I checked my papers after the interview, the CGI sheet was gone. It was then I realized that the lady collecting payment receipts took it along with the GT confirmation receipt.

Without that, I would have advised that you ignore it, but I'm guessing someone does need to see it.

So for those asking if Abuja embassy is granting emergency VISA appointment even if you are not within the stipulated 60 days of your start date, the answer is YES. YES.

Go and book the normal 2021 date you see there,
Then the option for emergency appointment will pop up for you,
fill the form and include your reasons for wanting emergency appointment,
Attach your 1-20
Attach your SEVIS payment receipt
Submit
They will get back to you within days
The earliest I just booked for someone was Nov 23rd.
