Been shortlisted for screening should not be confused with employment. I in gwagwalada, one senior officer addressed us and he sounded it clear that we have not gotten the job yet. From the that day, I was only praying for my name to come out. I didn't deceive myself thinking I have gotten it because I attended screening. I hoped for 50-50.
What if u failed medical tests, we don't know the tests carried out. For example
Flat foot person cannot be in paramilitary, it's standard procedure for shorlistment in most paramilitary outfit

I talked with someone in Abuja (old customs secretariat) when we came for documentation.
He explained his friend's name did not come out and he new that his name will not come out judging from the look of the nurses at gwagwalada when he did height test. The nurses saw his flat foot and turned their head several times indicating disqualification. When he climbed, the where satisfied with his height and foot. Long story short, his name came out but his friend's name did not appear
I heard this same story again from different sources the next day I came to complete my documentation at the secretariat.

Flat foot is a no-no for paramilitary and military in most cases.

How possible is it for one to reduce one's age (get a new date of birth) when former documents (nin, bvn, International port, driver's license, school transcript ) bears the original date of birth? If possible, what is the process, please?

NB: I went for screening with the original dob and want to go for documentation with a reduced age (a new dob).

As off today people still dey arrive. The only hope is to disturb state govnors and senators to take d matter up. That's d last hope, we can share it and make it go viral..

They should kukuma continue the screening till the end of the year or the last person does.
Custom shouldn't have extended the screening beyond last week; they gave those that should have been resting at their home unnecessary hope and expenses.

What next after documentation?

Back in march about six of us were called and our chest numbers written down. We were the first Six to finish.

If the officers taking your chest/tag number are on red caps, You might likely end in custom police. Custom police are looking out for strong recruits to them.

gtbank has started sending candidates, links for documentation. I believe these ones made it to the next stage.
