Me: To pursue my masters degree in Health Communications at Gannon university, Erie,Pennsylvania.
VO: What is health communication?
Me: Health Communication is the study and use of Communication Strategies to inform and influence individuals decision to enhance health.
VO: Why USA precisely when you can study it here?
Me: I chose USA because USA universities have great research facilities and also a degree from an American university is highly recognized in my country which will give me the opportunity to establish myself upon completion of my degree, furthermore, Nigeria school Curriculum focuses on the Theoretical parts and don't offer hands in research opportunities which gives detailed knowledge to my preferred course.
VO: How many schools did you apply to?
Me: Two...Gannon University, Erie,Pennsylvania and State New york university, New york.
VO: How many its ?
Me: I got itted into Gannon university and a refusal from State Newyork University.
VO: Why did you chose GU and not State New york University.
Me: GU met with my Academic Standard, I also did research and found out that their faculty and staff prepare student as Global Citizens through Grounded program in liberal art, science and professional specalization and GU also have an Innovative Academic Program which helps to Advance the careers of the graduates, allowing them to become leaders in thier Profession and Communities across the world, they are also enrich with qualified professors who are always ready to render necessaries assistant to student.

Me: I graduated in 2015 at The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
VO: whats your bachelor's degree?
Me: Microbiology
VO: What is microbiology and how it relate to you study?
Me: Microbiology is the study of micro organism including those that cause infectious diseases.

Me: I will be taking course in Communication Theory and Research Method, Organisational Comm, Intercultural Comm, Persuasion in the Market place, philosophy and Ethnic in Comm and Health Comm.

Me: After the completion of my program I intend returning to my country, I would have acquired adequate research knowledge as well as the practical and field knowledge which will enable me to become an Health Communication specialist in my country.

Me: My research focuses on the social construction of various health conditions as well as issues associated with health information retrieval.

Me: I am going to Gannon university, Erie,Pennsylvania to pursue my Master's degree in Health communications, I am required to complete a total of 30 credit hours in 21 months, and my courses are, Communicational Theory and Research method, Organization Comm, Intercultural Comm, Persuasion in the market place, Philosophy and Ethnic in Comm and Health Comm. Me: I am ionate about my country most especially the health sector, I will love to help improve the general services delivery of healthcare in my country and I also love motivating people to change their behavior to improve their Health and live.

Me: No, but I know alot of people from my home who studied in the USA university and returned to share to their experience with me.

Me: No because I have no intension to.

Me: No, Gannon university didn't require it.

VO: What do you know about the city you are travel?
Me: The City of Erie is located in the northern part of Pennsylvania, its also called a GEMCITY because of the Sparking lake, they speak IROQUOIAN language, they are lovable and happy people, they also have lots of local attractions such as Warner Theatre, Erie Art Museum, Erie Zoo, Erie maritime museum, Tinsel town movie theatre and a Millcreek mall.
VO: what are your future plans?
Me: I intend to return to my country after the completion of my program in health communication, to Own a public related and communication Consultancy Specializing in health and wellbeing.

Me: Yes I have a big family and they have been ive and am going to certainly to miss them durning my studies buh I would make up for the loss time durning my holiday break.

Me: I found out about GU from my cousin who was an alumni of the school, he returned home and told me about the numerous opportunities this school offer and got employed immediately he retuned to Nigeria because of his acquired skill set.
VO: why are you planning to continue your education now?
Me: To have more opportunities to higher tiers employment, to become an expert and gain firsthand experience, to have sense of personal accomplishments, to also secure protection for career change.
Vo: what are your roles and responsibilities where you worked?
Me: Answering incoming calls and response to customers emails, I identify and escalate issues to supervisors, attending to customer enquiry as regard service, Route call to appropriate resources, I also identify and resolved customers complaints using the application software.
