If you submit to a different VAC Centre , there is a fee attached to it. As at 2021 I believe it was 25000 I don’t know if things has changed now.

I'm telling you what an IRCC officer said.

PGWP is not dependent on port expiry date. Just as study permit isn't dependent on port expiry date.

Hhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm see……
For example
If you graduated in 2021 (2 years course)
You will be given a 3 years PGWP
But if your port expires in 2023, your PGWP will not exceed the expiring date of your port. And you will definitely be allowed to apply for extension of PGWP when you finally renew your port

Even for a student visa
If you apply for a 4 years program and your port is valid for 3 years , you will not be given a 4 years study permit.

Maybe you didn’t understand what the IRCC officer was trying to point out

An IRCC seminar/webinar.

They usually have seminars across the country, at various schools.

The only reason a person can be given that PGWP that short depends on the expiring date of your port, and after renewing your port, you can apply for extension.

You can't even include the hours you worked as a student when applying for PR. And the CEC pathway requires at least 1 year of Canadian work experience.

What I found out is the IRCC will deduct the time you overworked. So if you did an 18 month course, instead of giving you an 18 month PGWP, they'll give you 6 months.

We should all work in a desired field. So that way, you get PR immediately.

Since I've seen some comments here about working illegally, I just thought that I should share this.

Sometimes, IRCC won't inform the student that they know about a violation. They will wait until the student applies for PGWP before denying them and telling them that they know about the violation. I've seen cases where people got denied of a PGWP for working over 20 hours one time. Just be careful.

Some students resort to cash payments to not get caught, but if someone reports you, you're in trouble. Why take the risk?

I gained ission to Concordia University of Edmonton and I am supposed to resume Aug 31 submit my school permit and my port and start classes on September 2. I am yet to get a response from IRCC and the school has insisted that those dates cannot be changed and they won't even allow me to defer for another session. I have raised a GCMS note so I am waiting for .

I am so confused about what to do because if the visa arrives I can't resume this session.
