A The Allegory in The Garden of Eden of the Fall of Man When Christ said “except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you” (John 6:53), He did not mean His literal body. Most people will accept this as true. The Son of God was obviously not advocating Papua New Guinea style cannibalism. He was of course speaking of His figurative body and blood, which we partake in when we observe Holy Communion, a practice that began 2000 years before Christ came to Earth, as demonstrated by Abraham and Melchizedek in Genesis 14:18. So, why do we take other Scriptural s that were meant to be taken figuratively, literally? There are s in Scripture that were written in Hebrew and Aramaic and both of these languages tend to use polite words for things, places and situations that may be indiscreet to mention in decent company. For instance, the word that would literally be translated as carnal copulation or coitus between a man and a woman is referred to as knowledge or know in the Old Testament of Scripture. So, when Genesis 4:1 says “Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.” The word knew in question is the Hebrew word ya-da‘ and it is a polite way of saying that Adam had coitus with Eve. That word is used in various tenses and adjectives of the word know, including knew, knowledge, knowing and to know. Bear this in mind, as I will connect the dots later. But first, let me share a first hand of a girl who once lived and may still live in the ancient city of Benin. It is a true story. Have you ever known or grown up with or watched an innocent, chaste young girl grow up? If you had, you will know that young girls can be quite impressionable and easily swayed. For instance, I know of a young girl in Benin, an ancient city in Nigeria, in the early 90s who was like that. So innocent. So bashful. So chaste and pure. Until one day, this girl changed. What happened to her? A certain big man in the neighbourhood had taken advantage of her. No. It was not rape. This big man (now an ex Senator) was popular in the neighbourhood for his wealth and his philandering ways. Apparently, he had his eyes set on this innocent girl and one day, he ‘innocently’ gave her a lift, propositioned her, and in her naivety, she got carried away, and this man had carnal knowledge of her and they became habitual lovers. It was clear to the whole neighbourhood that this girl had changed. Her eyes became open. She lost her innocence. Her natural hair was no longer good enough for her. She got a perm. And her terracotta skin would no longer do. It was a case of Tura to the rescue. The more she invested in Tura cream, the shinier and lighter she became. Her dressing also changed. She became a Lolita. She would no longer talk to us, small boys and girls, in the neighbourhood. Her level had changed. She was now above us. She became a sisi. I do not know if this word is still in use in today’s Nigeria, but those Nigerians known as Bendelites, would catch my drift. And then her sugar daddy tired of her, or maybe not. Maybe he just found a new impressionable young girl fresh out of secondary school and moved on. I do not know which. You never quite know with these things. But in any case, she became another in the long list of neighbourhood girls he had used and dumped. The above is a true story. I know the name of the girl, the name of the ex Senator and the neighbourhood were this occurred in Benin, Nigeria. But why is it relevant? It is relevant because it is an example of how an innocent girl can lose her innocence and literally have her eyes opened by having a sexual encounter. I have read the Scriptures from cover to cover and in multiple translations as well as in English, Greek (New Testament), Aramaic and Hebrew. I have also visited Israel, Greece, Rome, Ethiopia, Turkey and many other places in search of deeper insight into Scripture. How well do you know the Scriptures? I have a secondary school friend named Kehinde, who is now sort of a pastor and he wrote on Facebook that he has jettisoned all other translations of The Holy Bible and he just holds to his King James Version jeje (a Yoruba word meaning gently), and I laughed. If only he knew! If you have only read one translation of Scripture, I urge you to read another one. And then another. A lot is lost in translation. For example, if I converted $100 into pounds today, I may get £80.30. But if I tried to buy back $100 with that £80.30, I would not be able to. Why? Because value is always lost in the conversion process. It is the same with Scripture. Scripture was not written in English. It was written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. And when Scripture is translated, a lot of value is lost. That is why you should read multiple translations. But the best is to teach yourself the original languages or learn them professionally, then read original manuscripts in their mother language. Why? Because Scripture was inspired by God, but translations were, in many cases, inspired by men. Men, like King James, who had his own agenda. You have probably read Matthew 11:12 in the King James Version, which says: “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” The truth is that what the original Greek says and what the KJV above says, are almost as different as night and day. You read the above and feel like taking the kingdom “by force”. But that is because it was translated at the behest of a king who had a conqueror’s mentality. Let us read that verse in the New International Version and see if you will even recognise it: “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.” Now, let us read it in the Contemporary English Version: “From the time of John the Baptist until now, violent people have been trying to take over the kingdom of heaven by force.” Or consider Isaiah 45:11 in the King James Version, which says: “Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.” Now, it appears to indicate that God wants us to command Him about the works of His hand. But, you must understand that that is what a King wants to hear, and since he paid for the translation, that is what his translators gave him. But read it in the New International Version. “This is what the LORD says– the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Concerning things to come, do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands?” Let us also read the Contemporary English Version: “I am the LORD, the Creator, the holy God of Israel. Do you DARE question me about my own nation or about what I have done?” You can see from the NIV and CEV, that God is warning us not to dare presume to command Him. He is God and we are man. He is the Creator and we are His creatures. Do you now see what translations can do? He who pays the translator dictates the translation. Take something like leprosy. When you read the word leprosy in the King James Version, it is rarely referring to what you know as leprosy. The Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek words translated as leprosy, often refer to a variety of skin diseases, but the translators could not find an exact meaning for them, so a choice was made to call any skin disease leprosy. You have probably read or heard of Naaman, the head of the Syrian Army in 2 Kings chapter 5. He is referred to as a leper in the KJV and many other English translations. But almost all scholars, and even the translators of the KJV, put a cautionary note indicating that the word leprosy, as used for Naaman, is a generic word for skin disease. It is more likely that Naaman had another type of skin infection. How do we know? Because, in those days, actual lepers were isolated and ostracised and it is unlikely that a leper would rise to the trusted position as head of the king’s army and stand in the presence of the king. Leprosy was often infectious, and in those days, they had little knowledge of which leprosy was infectious and which was not. If you read Scripture, you would see that it is a truthful and holy work and is the inspired word of God. However, the word of God in Proverbs 2:4 says that you cannot truly understand God’s wisdom except you “seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures.” Turn to Songs of Solomon 2:3 and you will read the following: “As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.” (KJV) Songs of Solomon is a book believed to be written by King Solomon (its authorship is not certain) about the carnal intercourse of two young lovers. The theme is about the erotic intimacy of the lovers. But note how King Solomon (?) uses polite words to describe the male lover. He is described as ‘the apple tree’, while other men are described as ‘trees of the woods’. Next, notice how he describes the coitus between them. The young female lover says ‘his fruit was sweet to my taste’. So a tree means a man, and coitus is described as fruit that is sweet. In Rabbinical Judaism, Songs of Solomon 2:3 is said to represent “the male sign of the covenant organ of procreation.” those dots I promised to connect? Now may be a good time to connect them, but I don’t want to connect them for you. Perhaps you can connect them yourself. I would not want to dwell too much on this issue other than to say that my readers should read the whole of Songs of Solomon chapter 2. When you have done so, consider reading Genesis chapters 2 and 3. And after you have done so, sit back and think. Perhaps the Spirit would minister to you. In fact, William Shakespeare borrowed (or stole?) lines from Songs of Solomon in several of his works including Romeo and Juliet. Some think, and I agree with them, that he did this because in Elizabethan England, coitus was considered too unseemly for decent conversation and so it had to be referred to in allegorical , which the Songs of Solomon does in a way that no other work of human origin does. Why am I writing this? I am writing this to remind, or perhaps to inform my readers for the very first time (if they did not already know this), that Scripture is an esoteric book that should not be read, but studied. The word of God says: “STUDY to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”-2 Timothy 2:15. Study. What a simple word. But a deep word, nevertheless. It is a word that runs very deep. It means that you read, in an unhurried pace. Then you ponder over what you have read. Medicate and meditate on it. Chew it over, until it permeates your soulish man and crosses over to your spirit man, where true understanding is. For as Job 32:8 says: “there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” In this part of the world, we are very lazy to study and as this is the case, we easily fall prey to people who depend on REVELATION rather than ELUCIDATION by studying Scripture. But in reality, IT IS WRITTEN is a far more accurate way to stave off spiritual error, than THE SPIRIT TOLD ME. May God bless you and open your eyes to understand His word and may He feel you with the urge to “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life:”-John 5:39. By Reno Omokri Recently, Nasir El-Rufai, a man I know quite well as one of the most destructive and vindictive liars in existence, came out publicly to caution people against lying. When I read his words, I was appalled! Here was a man who had told the most harrowing lies. El-Rufai has not just told lies, but his lies have probably led to the deaths of people. Lies which set Nigeria back years. And this man now presents himself as a champion of truth. Really? Are Nigerians that gullible? I am afraid we are. El-Rufai’s grandstanding was so brazen that it reminded me of Scripture which says in 2 Corinthians 11:14 as follows: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” At a book launch on September 11, 2019, Mr. El-Rufai, who is currently the Governor of Kaduna State said: “If you want to tweet anything about Kaduna be very careful because I am watching and …we have a very very strong law to get you.” I have never seen anything so hypocritical. A liar of the highest order presenting himself as a champion for truth? No way. My conscience could not take it. If all Nigerians were cowards and fearful of him, I, Reno Omokri, will not be one of them. I will now present a list of Nasir El-Rufai’s lies and show how he is most guilty of the law that he introduced in Kaduna, allegedly to stop liars. I encourage him to charge me to court and I will expose this Father of Liars in court. On September 8, 2014, Nasit El-Rufai falsely accused former President Jonathan and then President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor of founding and funding Boko Haram to the tune of N50 billion. On that day he tweeted as follows: “Those interested in understanding the metamorphosis and variants of Boko Haram will find this compilation helpful.” El-Rufai then attached a phoney document alleging that “Christians with the aim of using it to tarnish the name of Islam” were actually behind Boko Haram. He thereafter claimed that former President Jonathan had funded this conspiracy against Islam. Here is a link to the tweet in which this repugnant fellow, Nasir El-Rufai, who is one accusing others of lying and threatening them, falsely accused the body of Christ https://twitter.com/elrufai/status/508917550747774976?s=21 The false information he tweeted above had prior to that been repeated by El-Rufai at an event at Portcullis House in Parliament, England. I paid a young man to attend that event and record what Nasir El-Rufai said, just in case his demonic lying tendencies get the better of him and he denies this. Because of this propaganda, there was an upsurge in attacks against Christians in Northern Nigeria and dissension rose among the rank and file of the military as Northern Muslim officers and men began to be suspicious of their Southern Christian officers and men. Furthermore, according to the UK Charity, Open Doors, killings and attacks against Christians and churches peaked at just about the time El-Rufai made this reckless lie (Please see https://www.opendoorsuk.org/about/how-we-help/advocacy/nigeria-report-12). Read it and decide for yourself if El-Rufai has the blood of Christians on his hands. Even before this, El-Rufai had tweeted a tweet insulting Our Lord and Saviour, The Messiah, Christ our Lord. The tweet is so repugnant that I cannot quote it here. But you may choose to Google it yourself. An ex official in President Obasanjo’s government itted that Nasir El-Rufai once told him that "a Fulani will come to your home and even tuck you into bed but his objective is to find out what side of the bed you are sleeping on so he can stab you later at night". Interestingly, this same Nasir El-Rufai, who is notorious for spreading falsehood, engineered the arrest and prosecution of one Audu Maikori, who erroneously tweeted about some killings in Kaduna that had not happened and almost immediately apologised after he learnt of his errors. Even before that, El-Rufai had been lying with damaging effect. In 2010, when Yar'adua was battling for life, El-Rufai was spreading lies about a so-called Cabal around his wife Turai Yar’adua. Did you believe him? Well, if you did, you should read page 272 of ‘Power, Politics and Death: A Front-row of Nigeria Under the Late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua’, written by former ThisDay editor and spokesman to President Yar'adua, Segun Adeniyi. I quote excerpts below. "On the way, Balat, himself a former minister in Obasanjo’s government, asked, ‘Segun, this cabal thing, were you really a member?’ Before I could respond, former Federal Capital Territory minister, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, who played a prominent role in the campaign that eventually brought Jonathan to power, interjected, ‘There was no cabal, WE CREATED THE MYTH IN THE MEDIA TO NEUTRALIZE TURAI'. What type of man would tell lies against a woman in Turai's condition of 2009 when she was so distraught about her husband's health? That man is El-Rufai! Again, on October 1, 2015 Nasir El-Rufai falsely alleged that former President Jonathan spent a whopping N64 billion on Independence Day celebrations, during his tenure when in fact only N333 million was spent. Till today, Nasir El-Rufai has not apologised to the public and to the former President for such an egregious lie. You can read how he was exposed by yourself here https://www.timesng.com/news/headlines/194047-nigerian-govt-counters-el-rufais-claim-jonathan-spent-n64bn-on-independence-anniversaries.html Moreover, El-Rufai’s former boss, Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, who brought him to the limelight, had this to say about Nasir El-Rufai in his book: My Watch Volume 2 as follows: “Nasir’s penchant for reputation savaging is almost pathological. Why does he do it? He is brilliant and smart. I grant him that also. Very early in my interaction with him, I appreciated his talent and brilliance. At the same time, I recognised his weaknesses; the worst being his inability to be loyal to anybody or any issue consistently for long, but only to Nasir el-Rufai. He barefacedly lied which he did to me against his colleagues and so-called friends. I have heard of how he ruthlessly savaged the reputation of his uncle, a man who was like, in the African setting, his foster father. I shuddered when I heard the story of what he did to his half-brother in the Air Force who is senior to him in age.” Given such a long and illusory history as a liar, it is quite brazen for El-Rufai to now turn around and rebrand himself as an advocate for truth. But as El-Rufai once told me himself, ‘Nigerians have a short memory’. That is what he is banking on. Buhari Desperate To Distract Attention From G-7 Snub By Reno Omokri My attention has been drawn to a planted story by the Nigerian Presidency, claiming that my tweet that General Buhari was not invited to the G 7 Summit because of his misrule is “misleading”. I am glad they did not say I lied. They only said it is misleading. Since that is the case, let me clarify. The article claimed that African nations are invited to the G-7 on a rotational basis. This is not true. African nations are invited to the G-7 based on their economy and their governance and the RELEVANCE of both of these to the G-7. For instance, the largest economies in Africa will usually be invited, except where such economies have governance challenges arising from misrule or other anti democracies practices, such as compromised elections. Nigeria is Africa’s largest economy (due to past governments, not the Buhari junta) and should naturally be invited to represent Africa at the G-7. The claim by the Presidency’s hired guns that Nigeria was not invited due to the rotational invitation policy does not hold water. Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame was invited to the 2018 G-7 summit which held in Quebec, Canada in June of 2018. He is also invited to and is attending the ongoing G-7 summit holding in Biarritz, . If the invitations were done rotationally, as the Presidency’s hired guns would like Nigerians to believe, Kagame would not have been invited to the G-7 back to back. Kagame was invited back to back because he is relevant to the G-7. The truth is that Nigeria was not invited to the G-7 summit because of governance and democracy challenges. For example, just a week before the summit began, Nigeria was censured for misrule by a G-7 member state. It will be recalled that on August 18, 2019, just a week before the G-7 summit in began, the US Department of State released the 2019 Fiscal Transparency Report which classified the General Buhari led Nigerian government as “not fiscally transparent.” The timing of the release of the 2019 Fiscal Transparency Report was not coincidental. It had followed Travel and Visa Bans by the US government against Nigerian politicians that had undermined the 2019 Nigerian elections of which prominent of the Buhari junta were targeted. Beyond that, Nigeria, under General Buhari’s misrule, has deteriorated to the point whereby it has been overtaken by Ghana as West Africa’s number one destination for Foreign Direct Investments. We must be aware that the G-7 is above all an ECONOMIC SUMMIT. Hence Ghana was invited and Nigeria was not. It is obvious that General Buhari was embarrassed by his G-7 snub. Why else would the Presidency hire hack writers to attack me for saying the truth? Why else would Buhari go to Japan to visit the Japanese Prime Minister at a time when the Japanese leader was in ? Only a JOBLESS leader leaves his country to visit another leader, when that leader is not in his country. A serious leader, knowing that his host did not consider him important enough to be around when he visited, would have sent a minister to represent him. But General Buhari went to Japan at the same time as the Japanese Prime Minister was in Biarritz, , attending the G-7 summit. That alone tells you how desperate President Buhari is to cover his embarrassing snub. Reno Omokri Thinker. #1 Bestselling author of Facts Versus Fiction: The True Story of the Jonathan Years. The presidential election of 2019 has come and perhaps gone. To some, it might have been confined to the dustbin of history but definitely not the throwbacks on the conscience of a nation which has been wounded by its blatant disregard for common sense; a nation that needs healing. The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has approached the courts to seek redress. His prayers? That he won the February 23 presidential elections without let and he was brazenly rigged out by the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari using apparatuses of state security and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the supposed umpire of the polls. He also prayed the court to look into the merits of his claim that Buhari was ineligible to contest for the post of president having lied under oath in the form CF001 that he filled and submitted to INEC to enable him contest for that office. Since March, 2019 Nigerians have been treated to a drama of the absurd in all the legal tussles, their quest for justice have been treated with the greatest disdain as if they do not matter. The legal rigmarole have taken turns and twists, first from the refusal of INEC, a supposed electoral umpire which obviously did not seem to be living up to its name as in being independent refusing the Atiku legal team access to electoral materials with which to prosecute its case, and this was done in blatant disregard of a subsisting Court order to make them available. Then the legal tricks of deliberate delays: refusal of the President of Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa to recuse herself especially in a matter where her culpability and interest is very much manifest. All these court theatrics no doubt robbed the Atiku and PDP legal team of ample time and opportunity to parade all or most of its listed four hundred witnesses lined up in of its claims. To start with, INEC shot itself in the legs by denying it ever had a Server into which all election results were ed. It is a grave assault on the minds of many Nigerians. In this age and time, where does INEC capture data of over 80 million ed voters spread across one hundred and ninety nine, nine hundred and seventy three polling stations in the country? Even against its own laws and guidelines INEC had defaulted because it promised Nigerians a fool proof election conduct, collation and transmission of results. There is enough evidence to suggest that INEC lied about this all important aspect of the voting process. If INEC gets away with a discharge from this open lies, then all and most especially the Chairman and its principal officers should not get away with fraud. They should answer questions on the money approved for the procurement of this electronic facility. If INEC truly does not have a Server, the money allocated for it must have been stolen by its operatives. But yet more drama was to await Nigerians, as they woke up to a rude shock last week after Atiku and the PDP closed their case within its ten days allotted time, presenting 65 witnesses of its 400 (because of time constraints). First it was INEC that declared matter of fact that it does not have witnesses to call, and after a highly disappointing parade of seven lacklustre witnesses that did more damages to the Buhari/APC defends line, they also opted for an abrupt close of case. Curiously, the APC closed its own case before it even started without calling a witness. Typically the signal this sends to most Nigerians that just like the February 23 elections, the APC is out to draw out another card in its pack of aces, to browbeat the Judiciary. Another short corner legion? What suffers in the eventuality of a miscarriage of Justice as the sudden change of tactics suggest? Democracy is about to be taken to the slaughter house and where the will of the people is murdered in such brazen manner their existence was abridged. A stolen mandate is directly proportional to a stolen future and a perverted destiny. The nation’s Justices will write their names in 24 karat of gold if they manifest the moral force as embodied by Lady Justice. By evoking its instrumentality of impartiality, the Judiciary would have gained back its integrity and fulfilment of the sacred duty bestowed on it by providence. Long after this season, it would be said of Nigeria’s judiciary that it found itself at a crossroads, but showed uncommon courage in restoring hope to a country in need of salvation, and ultimately wrote itself in the golden book as champions of our democracy. “And if the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has discovered some documents which shows that over 2,000 ghost workers have been inputted into the salaries and arrears of Bauchi State in the last four years and over N400bn has come to Bauchi and we cannot see anything that has been done for N5bn, if I don’t do it (probe him), then I have abdicated my responsibility” stated the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory [FCT] and the Governor Elect Bala Mohammed in a recent interview while reacting to the revelation of the gruesome scale of corruption uncovered by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara. Information available to 247ureports.com indicates that the recent application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] against the Governor Elect of Bauchi State stems out of the threat to probe the financial crimes of the outgoing Governor, Barrister Mohammed Abubakar. The Presidential Candidate of the people's democratic party in the 2019 presidential elections has lashed out at the Mr Buhari and the APC . Speaking through his spokesman Mr Segun Showunmi at the stolen mandate series, Atiku accused the presidency and the APC of giving vent to what constitutes Hate Speech . It could be recalled that despite the express provisions of the countrys current and founding constitution the APC and INEC has been making wild claims which many see as a ploy to distract the tribunal from the core issues centered on the fact that Atiku indeed won the 2019 Presidential Elections. Atikus decision to call Microsoft and Oracle to substantiate his claims that the server results truly emanated from the INEC card readers has sent shockwaves into the political sphere this week as those who connived with APC to announce fake results might be heading to jail. One Lola Shoneyin who claims to be Wole Soyinka's Daughter in-law got more than she bargained for this evening as she was schooled on comprehension by Reno Omokri after an ill fated attack on the former presidential aide. Reno had earlier taken exception to the earlier call by Abdulrahaman Yahaya a Muslim extremist on twitter for controversial Journalist Kadaria Ahamed to be beheaded following her purported conversion from Islam to Christianity in London, but the troll who obviously did not get the whole message pounced on the tweet only to get her fingers burnt on twitter. Reno Wrote: "Dear @lolashoneyin, It may very well be that English comprehension is your problem. I never said @KadariaAhmed converted to Christianity. I said that she was THREATENED with death FOR converting to Christianity in a tweet I attached. Thank you. God bless" Source: https://twitter.com/renoomokri/status/1116435430646394882?s=21 1 Share |

If you have a first bank Card and about to use same on an ATM or POS pray that it is not declined because it will take almost a month if you ever get reversal their plartforms have become so terrible that CBN needs to come to the aid of Nigerians If you are unlucky like I was to use them for airtime , and other Mobile transactions you might have to wait for eternity to get refunds. My honest advise to hardworking Nigerians who don't want to lose their money to banks who are already ripping us off is avoid first bank for online business for now except you have money to donate to them

According to a tweet By Doyin Okupe and Professor yemi Osinbajo was humiliated when he attempted entry into a security involving Mr Buhari, service chiefs and some selected Northern Governors. He posted this quote from Yemi Osinbajo 'I Wasn't informed of the meeting, when I heard of it, I was refused entrance. Yet, Governors were allowed to attend. -Osinbanjo- If this quote is confirmed , it will not be the first time the cabal is treating Osinbajo this way. The VP who is considered a paper weight politician is not regarded within the presidents Political circle. https://twitter.com/doyinokupe/status/1098500733379530752?s=19 24 Likes 5 Shares |
