Immediately I completed the virtual job tryout & ODVI, I received a mail notification from Hireview, containing insights about my profile of competencies based on my responses. It was stated that they will communicate further once they're ready for the next step. I haven't received any since then. Does anyone get same or similar response from Shell recruitment 'Hireview'?

The assessment consists of 50 Qs in total. 20 Verbal, 20 Quantitative & 10 critical reasoning. It's a test of speed & accuracy. I'll advise to start with verbal.
You can practise with some Dragnet Qs & As.

If there would be a need for emotional intelligence (EI) test, it would have been done first online. The screening process started with the general aptitude test, followed by the position-based test. These, with experience & qualifications are sufficient enough to shortlist qualified candidates for the interview. Good luck.

This story does not add up. The screening does not base only on the general aptitude test & qualification. Info from reliable sources has it that the position-based test (2nd test) will be considered, in addition with qualification & experience.
Such a candidate does not stay in a remote village where he/she will likely be unreachable by both phone number & mail.

There is somebody that scored 91 in the first exams and when his certificate was checked, it was discovered that he is a first class graduate. The commission offered to give him the appointment immediately buy the guy is nowhere to be found. His number is not going through neither is he replying the mail sent to him. Why this? Just to encourage someone that the process is going to be transparent, just and fair. Don't give up.

Yea,, once you get to medical in screening process and no health issue, you've already secured the job, all other things being equal.
If people that did medical 15th Nov, received offers 15th Dec, then we that did ours 27 -29th Nov should expect offers around 27-29th Dec. I draw this conclusion from the previous offer interval.

From a reliable source, those that received offer letters did their medical test for the same batch. For those of us waiting, our medical results have not gotten to the IHS and we will be in another batch when eventually received. Let's be patient. It's batch by batch.

It's true that peple are receiving offer letters now. Someone just confirmed she received hers last night. I want to believe between today & tomorrow, others will receive too.

I think sending offer letters is in batches. Everyone who did medical test is their prospective employee already. I believed from now till next week, we'll hear good news.

Since the test will be based on the position applied for, candidates will have different question sets. For example, my job description covers Engineering/Performance/Monitoring. This won't be the same for all candidates unless we applied for the role. Please my questions are:

(1) will NERC include ICT questions in the test and will it be in multiple choices as this wasn't stated in the instruction?

(2) will general NERC aptitude test Qs help at all in this skill based test?

I've been reading this thread since and I'm laughing at some of your comments. Let me just save Y’all the stress
1. If you can't with the message (you no longer have access to this service), don't stress yourself. You are not shortlisted
2. If you can't with the errorr message (something due to slow connection), keep trying it's network
3. If you can see your photo card but no QR code it's obviously due to newtork or they haven't posted it yet (keep trying every morning and every night till the day of your exams) and on the final day if there is No QR code just print it like that and go.
4. You cannot change the exam Venue! There's No mail or customer service for that
5. Venue where chosen based on the availability of candidates on a giving location and how close your state of residence (the one you used to apply) is to the place.
6. Do not click on any link you see on this thread saying they'll give you past questions or add you to a WhatsApp group (except the ones that wants to meet up due to same exam centre) Don't click links!
7. Do not anybody for past questions especially when they want payment (The past questions are online just Google them) I can't post links I would have send them
8. You can't view your result
9. NERC is one of the Government agency known for giving appointments based on merit Rather Than Connection it's just a matter of luck. I'm not saying a there's no connection but NERc is known for its Merit. (If you have high score, Experience, you jave an upper hand already)

The test will likely be industry skilled based. It will likely test basic field knowledge in your area of interest and in multiple choices. May not be more than an hour.
Interview won't be conducted same day but successful candidates on this stage will be invited for an interview likely in Abuja.

I received a mail to proceed for my medical test in a ed medical facility. It's possible we resume early January.

if you're familiar with Dragnet Qs, you don't need to stress yourself. Just be fast enough and start with verbal 20 Qs (easy & you can score high), then proceed to Quantitative 20 Qs (be fast here to solve as many as possible to save time for critical 10 Qs). Good luck.

although our major aim of working is to make money, if u are getting the same salary in your job, I will advise u stick to ur job, rather than going for internship because internship is not 100% certain that they must employed u

I don't know whether you have done this internship, and not retained after completion. But this could be a stepping stone to enter IOC. Some IOCs first consider their previous interns who had gained some experience in the oil and gas industry, before other applicants.

So, I see a great opportunity in the internship.
