The Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, also known as KU Leuven or University of Leuven, is a Dutch-speaking university in Leuven, Flanders, Belgium.

The University of Leuven was founded at the centre of the historic town of Leuven in 1425, making it Belgium's first university. After being closed in 1797 during the Napoleonic period, the Catholic University of Leuven was "re-founded" in 1834, and is frequently, but controversially, identified as a continuation of the older institution. In 1968 the Catholic University of Leuven split into the Dutch-language Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and the French-language Université catholique de Louvain, which moved to Louvain-la-Neuve in Wallonia. Since the fifteenth century, Louvain, as it is still often called, has been a major contributor to the development of Catholic theology. It is considered the oldest Catholic university still in existence.

Lassa fever is caused by a virus that is found in West Africa. It was first discovered in
1969 in Lassa, Nigeria when two missionary nurses died.
Lassa fever is mainly found in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea, and Nigeria and is spread by rats. Other
neighboring countries are also at risk because the type of rat that spreads the virus is also found
throughout the West African region.

The ebola pandemic is still fresh in our memory! Eduaction is the key.

OK. Do you do persistently use the same people after many trials of application that are unsuccessful?

You just need to identify few individuals that are positively motivated, ever-ready to help. About unsuccessful applications, failure is part of success story, one should remain undaunted in his quest for what he believes in.

One of the problems of eying scholarships is the issue of those that will recommend you.

How do go over this challenge?

recommendation can be professional or academic. For academic recommendation, approaching one of your lecturers you are conversant with will greatly assist, from my little experience, most of them are usually glad to give you a recommendation. Advisably, you can try to create a relationship with a person that will always be ready to give you one at any time. For the professional, your superior at work, especially in the same field should be sufficient.

Is IELTS exams a major prerequisite for applying??
.It depends on the university; usually, a proof of english proficiency from the university you graduated from is required in some of the schools in Belgium. But you can read through the requirements for your chosen course of study.
