As events continue to unfold and the likelihood of Obaseki ing PDP to actualize his second term ambition becomes clearer, I wish to suggest a stretagy to him and his team like my previous thread, where i suggested he should only present his SSCE to INEC, before I got banned an overzealous MOD who is supposedly an APC apologetic.

Now to the point, as Obaseki defects, I would suggest the APC state chairman and the 18 LGA Chairmen loyal to him should remain in APC to act spoilers.

Their job will be completely hatchet. To insist that the NWC erred when they chose the Direct primary mode without recourse to the state leadership as has been the practice and as supposedly enshrined in APC constitution or did they say it was a decision of NEC.

Now, they will continue with all court cases and possibly conduct parallel primaries or just anything that in the end, if taken to court, would lead to voiding of the APC primaries in Edo. Of course no one will deny their hip of the APC nor will anyone suspend or expel them since they are the executives of the party in their locality from where every suspension or expulsion must emanate.

Nothing is guaranteed. So their remaining in APC to play spoiler is not a guarantee for Obaseki's victory. But if in the end, everything goes well, then a triumphant entry will be organized for them into the PDP.

Let's play this politics since Oshiomole claims to be shrewd.

A teenage girl, Margaret Ikumu, 19, of Oni community in Oju Local Government Area of Benue, has faked her own death on social media to avoid financial pressure from her mother.

A statement signed by DSP Bala Elkana, the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State, made this known on Sunday. Elkana said that Ikumu, through her Facebook , reported to have died a few days ago and was secretly buried by her two friends, Marvelous Mary and Nneka Buddy, at Ajah area.



“The family of the fake deceased further stated that they were able to establish with the said friends who confirmed to them that their daughter is dead.

“To make them believe that the girl is dead, they sent WhatsApp chats to a member of the girl’s family with picture of a casket showing that the girl is buried.

“The family also got in touch with a man on phone who claimed to be her boyfriend. He corroborated the claim that she is dead,” he said.

Elkana said that the girl was eventually found by the Police to be alive and was working as a housemaid in an estate at Ajah.

“When her employer saw the report of her purported death, they quickly informed the Police and she was brought to Ajah Police Station.

“In her statement, she (Ikumu) confessed to have created the Facebook and posted her obituary with intent to keep her family away from her.

“She said that her mother was putting financial pressure on her by constantly demanding that she sends money to her,” he said.

Elkana said that the girl was apparently bitter with her mother and uncles over their inability to sponsor her education after the death of her father.

He said that Ikumu came to Lagos to work with a view to saving some money and returning to school.

Did you read the entire news or you only read the heading? It was the NWC headed by Comrade Adams Oshiomohle that approved the indirect primary for Ondo, just the same way it approved direct for Edo, because unlike Edo chapter of the party, the Ondo chapter is not polarized.
