Do nothing...Just fill d correct info now under personal history 2. Write an explanation letter concerning it. 3. Reject the invitation to apply n enter d pool again with correct info. Please we re scared of a misrepresentation issue. |

Hey Guys, Please I need your help. So I am Post ITA and filling out all necessary forms I am the PA and my husband's work experience has only been in Nigeria So when it comes to ing a document, under the spouse section I am asked to also employment records 4 him but I am surprised because we did not gain any points from his experience. So I am thinking; is it because I also put his experience under "Work History"?? 1. Should I put his work experience under person history and take it out of work history (That his answering "No" to the work experience question?? When I did this the section for ing his employment records was gone. If this is incorrect please advise on what to do so as to avoid misrepresentation Please Guys, Help!. Thanks 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello, Please a quick question. So I am currently resident in Canada and just completed my master's degree. I got ITA on January 23rd, and at that time, I had not yet received my "Letter of Completion" from my school because they were finalizing grade approval (The degree certificate is to be awarded by mid-year during convocation). I just received the Letter of Completion (Its like statement of result in Nigeria) and the completion date stated there is February 1st, 2019. meanwhile, I put my completion date as December 2018 when I was filling out the ITA form (The is because that was when I last ed in school as it was my final semester). QUESTIONS: 1. Will this pose as misrepresentation since as at the time of receiving my ITA I had not yet completed my master's degree (since the completion date is showing as Feb 1st, 2019) 2. If yes, will an LOE clarifying it help OR what will be your advise. 3. Can I proceed using the Letter of Completion from school or must I wait for the certificate?? (NOTE: On the letter of completion the date the certificate will be granted is noted there). 4. Must I attach my transcript along with the Letter of Completion, and If yes, must it be an official transcript? Please kindly help with constructive answer. I really appreciate your help. Thank you. |

Hello Guys, Please I have a question with respect to a gift deed. I did a gift deed with my mum. We typed it on an A4 letter. she signed and I signed and had 2 witnesses sign. My questions: 1. My dad and brother signed as the witnesses (Is this allowed since they are relatives) 2. We had a lawyer to stamp it and signed and he also used his Nigerian Bar Association stuff stamp on it. (Is this sufficient/ Is this the right way to do it). 3. His NBA stamp license states March 2019 expiry...Is this a problem ![]() Please, your kind response will be appreciated. Ive read the threads from Part 4 to date but can't find answers to this. Thanks all |

Hello Guys, PLEASE I REALLY NEED YOUR ADVICE 80% of my POF I been gifted to me by my mother. This has been transferred from her naira to my naira . The problem is: I am currently resident in Canada after completing my study here and I have seen in several posts where people received ADR because of funds that are in naira when they are resident outside Nigeria. I feel that it only makes sense that I transfer the money to my Canada since I'm already resident in Canada. The following options I see possible are: 1. Use both my Naira showing the gift transferred and my Canadian with the rest of the funds(personal savings). This entails submitting both naira bank letter/statement and Canadian letter/statement. I'll have to hope an ADR isn't raised asking why the majority of d funds is in my naira when I'm currently residing in Canada 2. Convert the naira gotten from the gift deed to USD using the black market and then depositing it into my Canadian personally. this will entail submitting the gift deed and naira banks statement showing the gift funds entering and leaving and also my Canadian statement with the total funds. The challenge here is that I can't obtain documentation showing how the gift funds left my naira into my Canadian , thereby risking lump sum issues. PLEASE, Fam, how do you suggest I go about this without running into issues/denial. An urgent and constructive reply will be very much appreciated. All previous threads have been read |

Please just to clarify...Do you mean I add him after the PR approval is out and port requested (that's PPR) as opposed to after AOR?? If yes, could you please throw more light on why you think that will be a better approach. your response is much appreciated. iaatmguy: |

Hi Everyone. I have been a silent follower of this thread and I've read from part 4 till date so as to ensure the question I am about to ask has not been answered in entirety. I will be grateful to get your humble opinion on this. Sorry for the Long post pls. Just be patient with me. So, I want to apply for the Canadian express entry. I am currently residing in Canada and just rounded off my masters, hence I just need to write IELTS and get POF which won't be an issue. Due to my study in Canada, my CRS score is high and shouldn't be an issue getting my PR. Also, I have never been denied a visa before. Have a valid US Visa and have also been to Dubai. Here is where the challenge comes in: Upon arrival for my master's programs, my long-time boyfriend also tried getting his study visa but unfortunately, he was denied 3 times (all within 2018) with home ties and purpose of visit as denial reasons. Before then he has been denied 3visiting visas to the US between 2015 and 2016 and also a study visa to the US in 2017. With a clean record in Canada and Excellent ission at a top Canada university, we hoped it getting a study visa won't be an issue but unfortunately, its been denial with this last gotten this month. I plan to apply for my PR next month and I think him coming under my application as my spouse will be easier than applying for a spousal sponsorship later due to the time it takes. He doesn't need to write IELTS OR ECA because my points will still be above the cutoff mark. My concerns please: 1. Will his previous denial pose a challenge or risk us getting the PR even if I am the one to stand as the principal applicant. 2. Due to the time frame between denials and court wedding happening (which we plan to take place next month), will it be seen as a desperate move and raise concerns with the VO? (The wedding would have always happened, just that this would make it take place sooner than expected. Just court so as to get the certificate to add to the application). 3. If No 2 won't raise a concern, is there a time period I would have to wait before creating an EE profile (Though I would be leaving Nigeria back to Canada 5days after d court union because of work issues and this would show in my travel records) 4. Please Is there any other advice or opinions that can help our situation. We want to be sure cos He doesn't want a situation wherein his several denials would hurt my chances of getting my own PR since my record is clean and straightforward. My thinking is that me standing as the PA will serve as a covering for him. Please, I will sincerely appreciate your constructive advice and comments. Sorry for the Long post once again.
