When someone called the Yorubas, the sophisticated morons, some people were angry, but I will not use that word to describe all Yorubas, because there are still some, who are sound and not stained by this bug of tribalism.
You are in the diaspora, you buy lands, build houses and run companies, no one in those places, ever discriminate against you, but here, a Nigerian from another region is buying lands in your place, for development, you are seeing this as a crime? Are you alright at all?
Why don't you do same to them? Go to S'East, as you marry wives from there,do business with them, why don't you buy their lands also if something isn't wrong with you?
Look at a diasporian thinking in 21 century. Shame on you.

Two students who just rounded off their WAEC exam locked themselves in a ionate kissing session.

This is completely an irresponsible behaviour and it is all shades of wrong. They have not even started their life's journey proper. They should be focused on improving their lives through skills, business, trade, education, etc and not this.

I believe it's for proper balancing, and an inclusive arrangements, since the governor is from Ilaje area of the state and the deputy also from another area.

I Grew Up in Lagos Under Tinubu. That’s Why I Have ZERO Respect for Obasanjo.

Let’s set the record straight.

I grew up in Lagos — the Lagos that Tinubu rebuilt from scratch while Obasanjo was busy flying presidential jets and settling personal beefs in Abuja.

One built a future.

The other clung to the past like a rotary phone in the age of iPhones. (I wasn't too young to , stuff from the era of plane crashes; and OPC drama of which still links to OBJ)

When Tinubu came in 1999, Lagos was a glorified ghetto with sea breeze.

No IGR.
No proper sanitation.
Public services were a myth.

OBJ gave him NOTHING — not allocations, not , not praise.

Instead?
Federal oppression.

What did Jagaban do?

He built an economy within a hostile economy.
He multiplied IGR from ₦600 million to over ₦8 billion/month.

He restructured governance, digitized services, created LASTMA, LAWMA, and laid the groundwork for Eko Atlantic, BRT, and Lagos as a smart city. (Quod erat demonstrandum)

Meanwhile, Obasanjo?

He spent 8 years chasing third term like a toxic ex stalking a restraining order.

Power sector? FAILED.!
Education? STRIKES.!
Police? Used as private goons.!

(Hi Tafa Balogun, any update from Satan?)
Economy? Privatized to friends with long spoons.

Tell me, what exactly did OBJ do that positively impacted the average Nigerian like me growing up in a rented flat in Ikotun?

Nada. Nothing. Zilch.

But Tinubu? I saw the difference.

Cleaner streets.

Traffic regulation.

Schools being renovated.

A vision for tomorrow.

He made Lagos work, and mentored a generation of leaders — Fashola, Osinbajo, Sanwo-Olu, and others.
OBJ left behind excuses, letters, and goats.

Let’s be clear: Obasanjo didn’t build Nigeria.
He built Obasanjo Incorporated.
Everything was about his ego and revenge.
And now he parades himself as an elder statesman? Abeg.!

I was there.
I lived it.
I’m not tweeting from memory lane.
I’m testifying from experience.!

So when I say:

"I grew up in Lagos under Tinubu — and that’s why I have zero respect for Obasanjo."

It’s not hype.
It’s not fanboyism.
It’s not propaganda.

It’s called gratitude with working memory.

Because while OBJ was playing tribal politics and writing shady memos, Tinubu was building a Lagos that gave me — and millions — a chance to dream.

Let that sink in.

While acknowledging the fact that it is your inalienable right to and love anyone you love,I will like to say, that you are wrong in your assertion.
(1) Comparing Obj as president of Nigeria and Tinubu as governor of Lagos State, is like comparing an apple with an orange. This is no standard or ground for your comparism on this ground.
Obj, managed a whole nation, while Tinubu was just after a unit of the nation that Obj was managing, therefore what was the ground for comparing them?
(2) It's very wrong for you to say Tinubu built Lagos from the scratch. This is the kind of wrong information that people like you peddled before the election.
Lagos State, has been in existence before Tinubu came to it from Iragbaji,it was a federal capital, most of its infrastructures, were built with federal resources, government after government has been in Lagos before him. We can't forget the contributions of past governors in Lagos State like Alhaji Lateef Jakande( A.ka) baba kekere, Col. Buba Marma, whose footprint in Lagos State still exists till date. Saying he built Lagos from the scratch is a very wrong statement, but rather, say that he improved on what he met on the ground in Lagos State, this will be more acceptable than the former. Every government that comes into place anywhere, must have one thing good or the other that they did.
(3) Under Obj, the economy of Nigeria was sound, check ot out the percentage of growth then , it was close to 7%. We had a single digit inflation rate, exchange rate was very stable, unemployment rate was less than what we have now. You want to compare Tinubu with Obj then?
(4) We had debit cancellation under Obj, that freed us from the weight of foreign debt.
Under Obj, security of lives and properties were top notch in Nigeria then, incessant killings like you have now, wasn't the case.
(5) Under Obj, our communication sector of the economy was unbundled, received a boost, that brought about the use of GSM in Nigeria today. Do you know the contribution of this to our GDP? Do know the jobs it created and still creating till date?
(6) Under Obj, we had what was then called ECA , meaning Excess Crude , where the excesses of our crude oil sales were deposited and managed. You said Obj,built Obasanjo Incorporated, can you tell us what was Tinubu's worth financially before and after his reign as governor of Lagos State?. What businesses did he do that gave him much wealth after his tenure?
(7) Power, Education and other sectors of the economy mayn't have functioned too well then, but even with Tinubu as the president now, have we faired any better? Obj, had a team of sound technocrats from different fields, a pan Nigeria economic team, unlike what Tinubu is having now, past and present, there's no basis for it.
I'm not of the opinion that Tinubu did nothing in Lagos State, but not enough to compare what he did with what Obj did

I don't know why in Lagos State, with all the noise about it's development and growth, disobedience to court injections and ruling are very common.
I vividly the case of Boundary Market in Ajegunle, during the era of Tinubu as governor, while the matter was in court and there was an injunction, stopping the demolition of the market, yet it went down.
There are other cases, if properly searched. While demolish the church building when the matter is still in court and there was an injunction?
This is crazy and lack of respect for the judiciary. Should I even blame the local government officials, when our judges and our judicial system has been compromised.
This is what you get, when you sell yourself for a piece of meal. Our judicial system has lost its glory. If it were in the days of glory in the judicial branch, the local government officer or the chairman authorizing the demolition, when there was a subsisting court injection will be cooling their heels in the prison, with either fine or hard labour.

Why's Tinubu always having issues with Lagos State governors since he left office?
It was a battle between him and Fashola, that almost denied Fashola his second term ticket.
Ambode couldn't get a second term ticket, because almighty Tinubu didn't allow him despite all plea my Ambode and his ers.
The issue of Obasa , his crushed impeachment is pitching him against Sanwo-Olu again.
The same spat was noted between him and his Chief of Staff,Gbaja.

Newsgeek24:
PDP CRISIS: MY POSITION

1. Since after the 2023 General election, the PDP has been wantonly swinging from one part of a slippery precipice to another, owing fundamentally to dishonesty and lack of trust amongst its key stakeholders.

To stem this ugly trend, efforts have been made to arrest this pernicious virus of dishonesty and treachery and enthrone fidelity to agreements with a view to stabilizing the party and moving it forward.

2. To this end, a meeting of the G5 was held in Lagos. In that meeting, I made it clear to the Governor of Oyo State, HE. Seyi Makinde, that he was the architect of our problems, pointing out to him that non-adherence to agreements reached was the bane of the party, and that he was the chief culprit of this anomaly.

At the end of the meeting, we resolved to bury the hatchet and make progress.

3. As a follow-up to the aforementioned meeting, there was an expanded meeting in Abuja involving HE. Seyi Makinde, HE. Umaru Fintri, HE. Bala Mohammed, HE, Bukola Saraki, and I in Saraki’s guest house.

In that meeting, I made it clear that I had no personal problems with HE. Bala Mohammed, except that he hides under the facade of Chairman of PDP Governors Forum to serially renege on agreements. Tensions rose mightily in the meeting and it took all concerned to calm frayed nerves.

At the end of the meeting, we came to some resolutions, including:
a. That Senator Samuel Anyanwu remains the National Secretary of the PDP in tandem with the Supreme Court judgement.
b. All legal matters relating to Rivers State must be withdrawn by the National Legal Adviser.
c. The suit on the State of emergency be withdrawn forthwith.
d. Nobody should deviate from the agreements so reached.

In the light of the foregoing, they pleaded with me to attend the stakeholders’ meeting at the Bauchi Government Lodge, regardless of my many engagements.

I attended the meeting and clearly reiterated my earlier concerns, and to this end and in order to resolve all other lingering and pending issues, a committee was formed, headed by HE. Bukola Saraki.

4. It is disheartening to note that even before the Bukola Saraki Reconciliation Committee began its work, the gentleman’s agreement we reached at Saraki’s Guest House was already being crudely violated.

To my chagrin, Seyi Makinde had connived with Peter Mba of Enugu State to orchestrate the summoning of the meeting of so-called South-East leaders to recommend that if Ude Okoye was not adopted as Secretary, they would pull out of the PDP.

I have since granted an interview to the effect that, that resolution of the South-East leaders can not hold.

Again, Seyi Makinde organized some people in the National Secretariat to insist that the Deputy National Secretary should act as National Secretary, in violation of the agreement earlier reached.

To attempt to give credence to this farce, a letter was written by the Deputy National Secretary, calling for a meeting of the NEC of the party.

Furthermore, the letter confirming the candidacy of the Governorship candidate of the party in the forthcoming Governorship elections in Anambra State, duly signed by the National Secretary, Senator Anyanwu and the acting National Chairman, was portrayed as rejected by the party through a rebuttal letter signed by the National Publicity Secretary, acting on the orders of Seyi Makinde and Peter Mba.

All these actions are in complete violation of the agreements reached and would not do the party any good whatsoever. On the 24th of May 2025, in Jos, for instance, a well publicized and properly attended zonal elective congress of the PDP was aborted because the letter inviting INEC to the congress was signed by the Deputy National Secretary of the party.

INEC refused to attend because the proper signatory recognized by law, that is Senator Samuel Anyanwu was not a signatory to the invitation notice. This is undeniably distasteful, provocative and annoying, to say the least.

5. I have painstakingly put out all these facts so that PDP and the general public would know the truth. I have been in this party since 1998 and have worked tirelessly for the survival of this party with all my strength and it is on record that none of these persons have done anything close to what I have done to sustain this party.

What is more painful is that I contributed substantially to most of these governors winning their elections, yet I have not made any personal demands on any of them and I would never do so.

Most importantly, I had thought that we could keep the trust amongst us, but since it is now obvious that they would continue to play games to the detriment of the party, as is the case in the current debacle in the North-Central zonal elections, I have now firmly decided to pull out of all agreements hitherto reached.

I have decided to fight on until justice is attained.

This is a complete and arrogant display of selfishness. Wike should leave PDP or PDP should expel him. Enough of this nonsense. Supreme Court said party leadership and position is the internal responsibility of the party and not the courts. S'East Zone of PDP have made their choice and have communicated same to the party and Wike is saying it can't stand, isn't this madness.
I have said this constantly,if Wike is all that PDP need to stand, may the party die and never stand.
PDP have men that can sponsor the party's affairs, but the arrogance of Wike has kept them away from it. Let Damagum prepare the coffin for the party's burial. Enough is Enough.

Honestly, it's now I know that some of our governors and people in power are nothing but mere sycophants.
Did Tinubu give you his own money or your State due allocation from the federation ?
You have more money, not because of what Tinubu is doing, but because of the devaluation of the Nigerian currency, which has impoverished Nigerians. Federal Government budget was benchmarked at #700 per dollar, but devaluation has brought it to almost #1700, meaning that governments at all levels have more money to spend, while the populace swim in poverty, due to inflation.
It's not Bola Ahmed Tinubu that gave you more money, but the devaluation of our Naira.
This man is a big disappointment.

Without Igbo and Christians votes you will realize Peter Obi is nothing.

The small sucess Peter Obi enjoyed outside the East in places like Lagos and Plateau is because of him going from one church to the other during the last election to campaign against islamization agenda conspiracies, Tinubu have already destroyed that game for him, he only have Igbo votes Left and I will tell you even that 95% Igbo votes Tinubu already have plan to hijack more than 30%

Sometimes, I wonder how some of you here reason. The hatred for the IGBOS and anything Igbo is assuming a disturbing rate. So someone else from another state cannot express his views about another state, perhaps he derives a living from there?
What's the criteria to determine that this poster is of S'East extraction, that gives birth to this kind myopic response?
Must you come from a state,to give your views about what is happening or has happened in the region or particular state? By our spread as Nigerians, we have one-two person's as relatives living in different parts of the country, for the sake of my brother or sister or relation who lives in the region or state that is not their, I can't share my views about what is happening there? Boko Haram, terrorists and Fulani herders are causing havock in different parts of the nation, so the states not affected by their devilish art, people in those states, can't talk about them? How do you reason?
This is the 21st century, please be reasonable in your thinking. You are too awkward in your reasoning

I intentionally watched some of her sex videos for a reason. And the following are my response.
(1) With God, her sins like others will be forgiven if she genuinely repents.
(2) As per marrying her, it will require the grace of God, seeing all that she has done. Her private part is no more private. Till she dies, her porn pictures will be there for all to see, except they are deleted.
(3) One of the reasons for marrying is for procreation. With what she has done, and drugs she has taken, will there still be a womb for her? Lots of ladies in her trade have done away with their wombs and have no hope of procreation. Is she in good health at all
(4) Having sex with 1000 men mean transferring whatever that's in her to those men and collecting what is in those men to herself. Which man will be ready to deal with the spirits of 1000 men? Grace is needed here.
(5) Will her husband or next lover be able to meet her sexual needs, having been exposed to different kinds of joysticks and styles? Honestly I doubt.
(6) The lesson here is quite clear; we should be careful with what we push ourselves into doing, the consequences mayn't be easy for us to carry tomorrow.
What I saw in her adult picture shocks me about her future.

EFCC’s Case against Martins Vincent Otse

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in the exercise of its mandate of tackling economic and financial crimes, invited Martins Vincent Otse owing to a series of petitions bordering on sundry issues of alleged financial crimes raised against him. He refused to show up in spite of several invitations sent to him through his known addresses and medium of communication. The petitions pertain to grave allegations of financial malfeasance which cannot be ignored by the Commission.

It is needful to it that the Commission is aware of several unguarded attacks of the suspect against its operations. While such conduct is condemnable, his arrest was not informed by such attacks. The relevant law enforcement agency will be allowed to look into them.

The EFCC has a lawful right to hold Otse in custody like any other suspect being investigated by the Commission. The appropriate Remand Order was obtained in this regard. He has been offered an istrative bail and would be released after fulfilling all the bail conditions.

The Commission appreciates the interest of Nigerians in its operations. The ion, enthusiasm and torrential reactions to all of its activities are welcome. However, insinuations about its motive in carrying out its assignment should no longer continue. The EFCC should be allowed to do its job without fear or favour. As soon as investigations are concluded, charges will be filed.

By the way it is worth noting that In their original X post before editing it they called him Martins "Innocent" Otse instead of Martins Vincent Otse

If this is truly from EFCC, what then makes the post of Rufai Oseni of Arise Television, a fake news?
If it's true that EFCC arrested him, shame then to Lere Adeyinka, SSA to Wike. Can EFCC claim responsibility for what another government agency did?
