If you do these things, be assured that favour will be on you and you will never be moved. Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others; who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken. Psalms 15 Learn More: https://godlysensation.com/life-laws/the-unshakable-man/ 1 Like |

We are Blessed. But we are being robbed of our blessing by lies. Lies coming from fake new media, who, because of their greed and self-interest, do not mind the consequences of their actions; they do not care about the delayed destinies and wasted years they cause by their disinformation. We are Blessed. But we are being robbed of our blessings by lies. Lies coming from false preachers, who masquerade themselves as ministers of the light but are men whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. These men are corrupt, they are wicked, they have bound our hands and blinded our eyes. They are hindering our spiritual growth. They are stealing our hard-earned money and preventing us from living the good life God has designed for us. We are Blessed. But we are being robbed of our blessings by lies. Lies from the wrong leaders we ‘select’. Those who cannot emphasize, who cannot identify with our pains, who do not understand that leadership is sacrifice. They steal our money and make unaffordable the natural resources God has given freely to us. STOP the theft today! Draw close to God. Love Justice and seek the truth. Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3) More: https://godlysensation.com/love/we-are-blessed-part-1/ |

https://godlysensation.com/love/why-and-how-should-we-seek-first-his-kingdom-and-righteousness/ We all certainly need money to pay our bills and to provide basic necessities like food. Having this, lets be contented and slowly advance towards the good life God has prepared for us. The ‘get rich quick’ thing is not God’s plan. Neither is fraud, bribery, corruption, kidnapping, prostitution. Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. (Proverbs 13:11) For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. (1 Timothy 6:10) Life’s journey is that of patience and integrity. There are no short cuts in life. As we journey through life patiently and work honestly, we develop wisdom and discernment which will enable us to sustain the riches that we will eventually have. This wisdom will protect us from fake friends who disguise as real ones. It will also save us from having the wrong spouse. Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways. Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman, from the wayward woman with her seductive words, who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. Surely her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead. None who go to her return or attain the paths of life. (Proverbs 2:12 – 19) As you patiently follow God’s plan, you will also understand the limiting factors and lies that hold us back and that prevent many from having a fulfilling life. You will eventually be convinced that God’s plan for you is a happy and peaceful future. Please don’t fall victim for the ‘get rich quick’ scam or for anyone who promises you a business idea that will make you a millionaire overnight without first developing the necessary skills and experience. This is very common today in this ‘make money online’ era, and among many false preachers who promise their congregation ‘miracle money’ and yet ask them to first sow seeds. Why don’t they themselves get the miracle money from God and stop asking from you? Source: https://godlysensation.com/love/why-and-how-should-we-seek-first-his-kingdom-and-righteousness/ |

Are you always seeking a pastor to help you with prayers? Maybe you have grown to believe that as soon as a particular ‘man-of God’ lays hand on you, all your problems will be over. Do you really understand God’s Word for yourself? Have you taken the time to search out God’s word with the same diligence you use for your academics or business? Sometime ago, I had a call with one of my friends, a Christian, she was seriously complaining about hardship, poverty, and the enemy, attributing her sufferings to some enemies – wicked friends or evil family . It seemed to be the norm: to blame difficulty on some ‘village people’, who we believe are responsible for our hardship. We blame them when things are not working out, we curse them by directing most of our prayers towards them. My question I asked her: but we are Christians, how come the enemies have power over us? If we say we believe in God and are following him, why do we complain so much about enemies? Why do we feel defeated? Is it that they have power over us whose lives are hidden in Christ? What about our authority in Christ? I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. (Luke 10:19) I also know that greater is He in us than he who is in the world. I really pondered over this conversation. Why are believers always complaining of the enemy? why does it seem we are at their mercy? why do we organize repeated prayer sessions to ‘bind the devil’? why do we sometimes go to church with physical weapons to fight enemies? I decided to do a diligent study of the bible for myself. I told myself, if I can learn computer programming myself and become proficient, why can’t I study the bible with the same zeal. Why can’t I study the bible the same way I studied in university for my courses, during exams, or during my research project. So, I decided to create distraction-free time for detailed bible study. I started from Genesis chapter 1. I prayed hard and studied so diligently. My ion grew as I journeyed. With the increased interest and clarity, and realizing the bible is very consistent, I studied almost every book. Before now, I had believed that the bible, especially the Old Testament, is boring. Someone had communicated this to me by how he always acted frustrated whenever reading the bible. Someone also joked that if you want to fall asleep, just pick the bible and start reading. As simple as this may sound, this is one of the greatest limiting factors people are facing today, people are discouraged from studying the bible, they make you feel it’s ‘rocket science’, or some kind of esoteric concept. This is the major cause of suffering all over the world because people do not understand the will of God and are poorly guided. The word of God is consistent The word of God all through the bible is very consistent. If you sincerely study the bible, you will understand the will of God; you will find the knowledge of God. You will know that God wants the best for you and is always looking for ways to bless you; You will be set-free from fears holding you back; You will understand that the enemy has no power over you; You will know that God is not interested in your money; you do not need to sow seeds before God blesses you; God is ionate God is fervent; He is very ionate, and also patient. He speaks through numerous examples. The easiest way to demonstrate something is through actions and examples. That’s what God has done for us; He demonstrated His will, repeatedly, through numerous illustrations over history. When someone is arguing or twisting a concept, an easy way to know the truth is a question like ‘show me an example or a related story’. What does God require of us He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6: ![]() If there is only one role of God today, I will say it is justice. God is a God of Justice, integrity, honesty, and due process. He will never allow injustice to prevail, he continuously oversees these things. Corruption is a primary cause of spiritual blindness, and the reason you may seem defeated. The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with Him. (proverbs 11: 1). God expects us to be truthful and kind, and to treat other the way we want to be treated. Do not be ignorant of the wiles of the enemy The book of Job chapter 1 provides what I consider the ultimate spiritual welfare strategy. Firstly, God described a righteous man: “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” (V8). Then the enemy confessed that no one can harm a God-fearing man: “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.” (V11). This simply illustrates that when you are humble, truthful, honest, and faithfully serving God, you ought not worry much about enemies, nor even the devil, for God himself will be your shield. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. (Proverbs 2:6- ![]() So, why do believers seem defeated The No.1 real enemies we have are the false preacher and teacher, that occupy every channel today, teaching all manners of greed and lies. They are the ones ‘binding’ most Christians; they are the cause of suffering. A great sorrow is to be under a false prophet, a fake pastor or a so-called man of God. This is a terrible thing – to be constantly bombarded by lies and deceptions from false teachings. This is one of the greatest limitations in life. This is the main reason people are suffering and never amount to anything in life. They do not teach the word of God, they know that once you truly understand the word of God, you will be empowered, so they deliberately twist things up to leave you confused, so as to continuously feast on you. They systematically discourage you from studying the bible for yourself, making it look difficult. They quote words out of context. They emphasize on doctrine instead of character. Their interest is money. Importantly, because of their greed, they do not teach you spiritual welfare strategies. So, many believers do not even understand the wiles of the enemies, they cannot discern between a wicked man and a righteous man. This is a serious problem with tremendous consequences. For instance, A popular pastor in Nigeria preached that Job was not faithful in tithing. Let’s us re-consider this story, although I talked briefly about it before. Job was a man God used to describe a righteous man, in fact, these are the very words God used to describe him: a. My servant; b. There is no one on earth like him; c. He is blameless and upright; d. A man who fears God and shuns evil; (Job 1: ![]() We already know that the devourer, who is the devil, confessed that he could not harm Job nor touch any of his properties. (V11) Surprisingly, even though this is a very popular story and we all know that Job was only tested, yet it was preached that he was not faithful in paying tithes (someone who God said was blameless). Where was the conclusion or inference that Job was disobedient or unfaithful in tithing drawn from ![]() This is just one of many reasons you should know the word of God for yourself. Example 2: Another popular pastor in Nigeria attributed King’s Solomon wealth to his offerings. This man tried to convince his audience that due to king Solomon generous giving and offerings, he became exceedingly rich. This was also surprising to me that people believed him, even though the story of king Solomon is a popular one. This king did not ask God for money, but for wisdom, for discernment in istering justice, so God was pleased, and decided to also make him wealthy. The teaching of today is centered on money, and it’s the major cause of strife, greed, crime, poverty, and the major reason believers seem defeated. God does not delight in money The reason the false teachers are rich and succeed in doing what they do is simply because you don’t know the word of God for yourself; Once you know the word of God, it will be easy to spot fake teachings and then quickly detach yourself. You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. (Psalms 51: 16-17). How do I gain my freedom? I would advise you to carefully and prayerfully study God’s word for yourself and consider it the best counsel you could ever get; If you are diligent and commit the kind of effort you put in project research or your business, you will be amazed at your understanding; You will never regret the effort as it will lead you to breakthrough; You will be able to easily spot false prophets, who are the agents of the thief that Jesus talked about in John 10:10; You will be set free from limiting beliefs and strongholds; you will know your heritage, your rights, and won’t bother praying about things you already have, but instead would be grateful; You will understand blessed acts: Fear God and depart from evil; Let truth and kindness never depart from you; treat others the way you want to be treated; seek peace; don’t pay evil for evil; Source: https://godlysensation.com/love/why-you-need-to-take-gods-word-seriously-and-study-it-for-yourself/ |

Pleases carefully read this article, i believe many will be delivered from false teachings. Blessed is the man who does not take counsel(advice) from the ungodly nor associate with sinners. This summarizes Psalms 1, and provides a powerful insight on how to be successful in life. Our lives are usually the result of our decisions, and these decisions usually come from the advice we get from various people and from various means; A single bad advice can cause us many sorrows and lead to lives of regrets, pains and frustrations; Many regrets of today is “had I known”; Be very careful seeking advice from someone who you know envies you. Someone who is jealous of you, understands the consequences of certain actions, will deliberately mislead you, and this can lead you to years of many sorrows and regrets; Many immigration regrets of today are as a result of bad advice from envious people you see as friends. Many foreigners get into trouble because of wicked people they thought were helping them; many of them fail to settle down, they struggle for many years, because of people they should have avoided, those who hate them but pretend to be their friend. Because of trust, they may not even realize this. Some immigration lawyers will continuously give you misleading advice, just to make more money from you, not minding the painful consequences, not concerned about the years of sorrow, suffering, frustration and regrets. Be careful of who you call or take as your lawyer. Often time, we do not realize we are getting counsel from the things we see, the people we call friends, the celebrities or influencers we follow, the TV programs we watch, the channels we subscribe to, the social media pages we follow, the groups we etc; Just one ungodly film or movie you watch can alter your believe and limit you for the rest of your life; you many not even know it. Reading a book whose writer has an evil intent, could be a major stronghold in your life. Because you believe what you have read, this will start to influence your actions, even without you realizing it; A great sorrow is to be under a false prophet, a fake pastor or a so-called man of God. This is a terrible thing – to be constantly bombarded by lies and deceptions from false teachings. This is one of the greatest limitations in life. This is the main reason people are suffering and never amount to anything in life. If you have been serving God for many years and are not making any progress in life, it is time to think about who your pastor or teacher is; it’s time to reflect on the kind of message you are receiving; Any teaching that bases your success on the amount of money you have to first give to God, is a false teaching. Leave this place, you cannot grow here, you cannot get sound counsel here. Any teacher that asks you to sow seed into his life, after praying or ministering to you, is a false teacher. If you are under this kind of preacher, please leave immediately; Stop going to any church that compels you to give or that makes you feel guilty for not giving money; stop visiting any church that rewards or honours people for the amount of money they have contributed. You cannot get sound teaching there. You will be bound, you may not succeed, you may not be able to live a prosperous life. It is foolishness for a poor member to be giving to a rich pastor, especially for things like birthday or a seed in his life. Is it not obviously wrong for someone, who is struggling to pay his bills, to be continuously sowing money into the life of a teacher who is living in affluence, who is living a luxurious lifestyle? One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and one who gives gifts to the rich—both come to poverty – Proverbs 22:16 If you belong to a group, an association, a union, a cult, or any kind of party or society, think of the laws or rules you have accepted into your heart, reflect on the things you abide by, it may be the reason you are bound; it may be the reason you are not progressing; If you want to succeed in life, depart from evil, don’t associate with ungodly people, don’t take advice from those who don’t fear God, don’t take bribe, don’t mislead others, hate fraud, hate dishonesty, treat others kindly, and ask God for wisdom. source: https://godlysensation.com/life-laws/how-to-avoid-bad-advice-and-stay-blessed/ |

Don’t be selfish: think of others as better than yourselve Selfish people care only about themselves, understand only their needs, and see only their perspective. Selfishness renders us unlovely to both God and others. It is not only about our convenience, we should always consider how our decisions affect our friends, family , neighbors, co-workers etc. It is not only about pleasing ourselves, we should always seek ways to serve others. Leadership is all about service to humanity, which is the greatest calling. Haven’t we lived long enough for ourselves? Do we not think too much of our own comfort and ease? wouldn’t it be better and more profitable if we were less selfish and care more of others? Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 5:10 Standing up for what is right is not always simple, especially when you face insult, abuse, gossip, or other negative words as a result of being sincere. However, Jesus gave us hope when he made this promise, among others, regarding God’s Kingdom: Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you – Matthew 5:11-12 You will be blessed for standing up for what is right, for trusting in God’s Word, and for defending those who cannot defend themselves. Jesus’ disciples, the ones hearing these words, could suffer because of their beliefs. They may be persecuted for doing things differently: for loving their neighbors, fighting for sexual purity, fighting for what is right, and most of all, for saying Jesus is Lord. You will therefore be blessed for standing up for what is right, no matter what it costs you. that God’s kingdom is yours! source: https://wordforlight.com/2023/10/06/blessed-are-the-persecuted/ |

The task of evangelism was given to all of us. You must not be a pastor or a priest to do so. The way you live your life should attract people to God. A little act of kindness tells and sends a message to the heart of people. No matter who you are, let your purpose be to announce the good news. Telling others about what Jesus has done for them is one of the most important things we can do with our time. We have been given the greatest gift of all—eternal life with God. But that gift is also freely available to the rest of the world. So, take some time today to pray for those in your life who do not know the hope that Jesus gives. Pray for their salvation and also for the strength you need to share the good news. full article : https://wordforlight.com/2023/10/04/sharing-the-good-news/ 1 Like |

Leadership in the church : https://wordforlight.com/2023/09/16/leadership-in-the-church/ Who is a leader? A leader is someone who is in charge of organizing, guiding, and managing others. You could be a father, a pastor, a priest, or a bishop in which way you are called to lead the people. Let your purpose be to comfort, motivate, and strengthen people to desire God. A true leader is controlled by the Spirit of God, and an evil leader is controlled by human nature and it results in death. But if you are controlled by the Spirit of God it leads to life and peace. And so, people become enemies of God when they are controlled by their human nature for they do not obey God’s teaching, if you are a leader and you obey your human nature you cannot, please God. What God says about evil leaders? Romans 1:18 but God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. If God has placed you as a leader and you use your fine words and flattering speech to deceive innocent people, God’s punishment will be on you because ever since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities both his eternal power and his divine nature have been clearly seen and you don’t have an excuse to mislead people. They say to themselves this is an opportunity to be wealthy and to be famous, how foolish and arrogant are they? Instead of directing and winning souls to God, they choose to worship money, fame, and power they exchange the truth for a lie and make people sin. Matthew 18:6 says but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. What kind of leader are you? Are you the type that says do not steal, but you steal, you say do not commit adultery, but you are the number one in committing adultery, you say you detest idols, but you end up robbing people? You preach about love, but your heart is full of bitterness and evil. The judgment of God will be upon you if you don’t repeat from those paths. A good leader leads by example and they practice what they preach, and they are controlled by the Holy Spirit. full article: https://wordforlight.com/2023/09/16/leadership-in-the-church/ 1 Like |

@Kobojunkie if you are doing this intentionally I don’t know. But what you are saying is correct, I don’t now understand why you are arguing: If you love me, keep(obey) my commandment; …my commandment is this: Love each other as I have loved you. If you are intentionally trying to distract and confuse others, I would advise you to repent from it. How can love your neighbour as yourself be an argument? Gal 5:22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Romans 13:8-10: Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Please kindly stop bringing unnecessary confusion to people’s articles. Throughout the scripture, it was written that Christians should be known for their love. love is the most important quality of a Christian. One of the Pharisees asked Jesus in Matthew 22:36- 40. which is the greatest commandment, Jesus answered and said, the greatest command is to love God with all heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and you must love your neighbor as you love yourself. Jesus asks us to remain in love just as He remains in love with the Father “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. John 15:9-10 Jesus states in John 13:35 that our love for others will be the key attribute that defines us as His disciples. We won’t be recognized by our knowledge of the Bible, our families, or the amount of time spent at church. While those are all important things, Jesus says that the most important nature is how we show love to one another. The most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.1 Peter 4:8 We should be among the most loving people on earth, and our goal should be to love each other deeply. With love, forgiving those who have offended you will not be difficult, even when it is hard to forgive. Love is the key to forgiveness and it is evidence of a life marked by God’s love. So, if your closest friends were asked about your top quality what would they say? would your top quality be how loving you are towards others? If not, know that you‘re not alone. None of us are perfect, and we can all do better at this So, what steps can you take to love others better? Are there people who have wronged you that you need to forgive? Are there people you have wronged that you need to reconcile with? Make a list of ways that you can show love to other people. Take some time today to ask God to help you become more loving. Proverbs 11:2 pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. The attitude of spiritual modesty and the fear of the Lord is called humility. That, it can be said, is a lack of pride. God gave us wisdom as a gift, and it displays itself indeed. Ask God for wisdom if you lack it, according to the book of James. Because King Solomon was humble, God bestowed upon him immeasurable wisdom. This inspired King Solomon to write much of the book of Proverbs, which offers wisdom and understanding about living righteously in God’s eyes. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7 KJV “Humility is the fear of the Lord, its wages are riches and honor and life.” Proverbs 22:4 NIV Solomon the great king possessed riches beyond what we could ever imagine. Because of his humility, he was honored by all the nations and lived a full and prosperous life. Although we may not be kings, the statement is still true because true humility results in honor. In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul included a prayer for Christians that can be used to clarify Proverbs. “…the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe. Ephesians 1:17-19 ESV His prayer tells us that God will pour out spiritual wisdom and knowledge upon us if we humble ourselves before Him and His Word. God honors us and grants us riches that are available only through Him as a result of our faith in Him. He showers blessings upon us in accordance with His glorious riches and out of His great love. Our ability to receive God’s promises of riches, honor, and long life depends on our level of humility and fear of Him. You must be humble if you want to receive God’s wisdom. @Kobojunkiee Kobojunkiee:Bro, I believe we are all saying the same thing here. I am also frustrated with those who pretend to love God, and yet practice sin. In fact, 2 Timothy 2: 19 clearly says: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” Also, I would advise you to read the full article. The very first paragraph says: If a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. None of the offenses they have committed will be ed against them. Because of the righteous things they have done, they will live. (Ezekiel 18:21-22). The link below: https://wordforlight.com/2023/09/29/praise-god-for-your-salvation-and-for-his-faithfulness/ The truth is, for a sincere Christian, praise invites and overwhelmed you with the presence of God, where no enemy can stand. 2 Chronicles 20: 20 – 22 Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.” As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

Brothers, don't under-estimate the power of praise and worship; it is a powerful spiritual welfare strategy. Do you the day your shackles fell away? Do you recall the place where Jesus met you and said, “I have loved you with an everlasting love”; I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you”; None of your offenses will be counted against you? Oh, what a sweet day it is when Jesus takes away the pain of sin! Not even the songs of angels sound as sweet as that first song of rapture that gushes forth from the inner soul of a forgiven child of God. Yet it is not only at the onset of the Christian life that we have reason to sing. As long as we live, we discover new reasons to “sing of the ways of the Lord.” And as we experience His constant love we are led to proclaim, “I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips” (Ps. 34:1). Psalms 138:1-2. “I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing your praise. I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, for you have so exalted your solemn decree that it sures your fame.” May the attitude of kind David be in you, to praise the Lord with all your might and with all your heart, regardless of what others may think. If we profess to know the Lord, claiming Him as our friend, we need to spend quality time communing with Him in prayer daily. A large portion of God’s Word is dedicated to the subject of prayer, either as examples to follow, demanding obedience to its truth, or declaring promises. Our Lord Jesus set a beautiful example for us, in communing with His heavenly Father. Other examples are Daniel, who prayed 3 times a day; David who often called upon the Lord with all his heart; Paul and Silas in prison. These examples teach us the importance of prayer. Prayer can be a silent conversation with God, every minute of every day. It doesn’t have to be obvious, and it can take place anywhere and at any time – whether on a school bus, in the restaurant, on the football field, or during an exam. If God’s word says so much about prayer, it is because He knows how much we need it. He also expects to see it evident in our lives. Our needs are so deep that we must not cease to pray. We can learn from our Lord, who often prayed — at the beginning of His day, before many of His miracles, before His meals, just to name a few. He also prayed for the lost, for His disciples, for His enemies, for the world, and for Himself. Prayer is the privilege of a child of God; the war cry of a fighting believer; It is the breath, the , the comfort, the strength of a Christian. Through prayer, you seek God’s face and live in His Love. I Pray for God to show you your need for Him, that henceforth, you will be holy, humble, devoted, and diligent; that you will have closer communion with Christ. Also, that you will be an example and a blessing to others, and that you will live more and more for the glory of God. I am inspired to make this post after reading a thread on Nairaland about the statement made by Femi Felana regarding the deployment of military to Nnamadi Kanu’s house in Abia state. (https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/4051827/femi-falana-buhari-should-withdraw) and also regarding the first comment made by (Pythondancef) I was in the United State between September and late November 2014 and I never saw any military man in town or anywhere in their city all through my stay. I have been in Canada since early this year and I have also noticed that I have never seen any military man in town. I encourage other Nigerians in Diaspora to share their experience. I am not interested in whether you IPOB or not, my reason of making this post is to make us know that it is really high time for us to demilitarize Nigeria in a democratic era. The deployment of troops to SE should be condemned by all well meaning Nigerians, whether you IPOB or not. The human right abuse in Nigeria is too much and we should all rise up against it to secure our future. I have watch most of the IPOB processions, and I don’t see anything illegal in what they are doing and it happens everywhere in the world. And even if the president thinks what they are doing is illegal, we have the Nigerian police and Courts. I have seen several videos posted on Nairaland and on YouTube, on how Nigeria army beat and intimidate people for wearing their camouflage (even seen how a lady and a disabled man was mercilessly beaten by the Nigerian army). We come here to laugh and make jest of those things, encouraging them to harass, intimidate and violate our human rights the more. Even popular comedians make similar jokes of those things. This gives the army more ego and they have kept violating our rights. Here in Canada, I notice, civilians do wear army t-shirts and face caps. If you go to parties or public places, you will see these things a lot. I beg the Nigerian press, journalists, and all well meaning Nigerians to start this fight against human right abuse by the Nigerian military, it is really sad, painful and shameful to see these army intimidating civilians in a democratic era. I read Niaraland alot, but why I hardly make posts is because, even if you quote the relevant section of the constitution that what you mean, people will still come out and insult you, and even from the post I referenced, Femi Felani, quoted all the relevant sections of the Nigerian constitution that says the president cannot use the military against any civilian, but I was surprised when people were still arguing. Please my brothers, let’s stand for what is right, irrespective of whether you IPOB or not, lets kick against this deployment of military to a civilian populace. It may not directly affect you today, but think about tomorrow. Nigeria can only progress and have the promised change if our human rights are respected |

It’s rare that a typo saves the day. But that was the case last month, when a spelling error helped stop what could’ve been a nearly $1 billion digital heist. A group of unknown hackers penetrated Bangladesh’s central bank several weeks ago, Reuters reports. The tech-savvy thieves went on to request a series of fraudulent transfers from that bank’s at the New York Federal Reserve to groups in the Philippines and Sri Lanka. The hackers successfully transferred about $81 million. But the damage could’ve been far worse were it not for a typo in one of the hackers’ transfer requests, says Retuers: Four requests to transfer a total of about $81 million to the Philippines went through, but a fifth, for $20 million, to a Sri Lankan non-profit organisation was held up because the hackers misspelled the name of the NGO, Shalika Foundation. Hackers misspelled “foundation” in the NGO’s name as “fandation”, prompting a routing bank, Deutsche Bank, to seek clarification from the Bangladesh central bank, which stopped the transaction, one of the officials said. There is no NGO under the name of Shalika Foundation in the list of ed Sri Lankan non-profits. Reuters could not immediately find information for the organization. The total value of the transactions stopped after the typo was discovered totaled as much as $870 million. The message to hackers? Use spellcheck, guys. http://www.nairapress.com/2016/03/11/hackers-stolen-nearly-1-billion-not-typo/ 1 Like |

Manchester United boss, Louis van Gaal, has blasted people criticizing the club’s demotion to the Europa League and said they are “living in the past”. The Red Devils take on rivals Liverpool in the last 16 on Thursday, after they dropped into Europe’s second-tier competition for only the second time in 20 years. “It was another time. You live in the past,” said Van Gaal of United’s regular recent appearances in the Champions League knockout stages. “It happens in football. It’s normal.” United have won three European Cups, while Liverpool have lifted the trophy five times. http://www.nairapress.com/2016/03/09/van-gaal-man-u-living-past/ |
