Mind you this cruel tradition or spell was cast by men named their ancestors, they made it in way such that the man will be affected not the woman, so that men will not take her wife cheating on him with levity for any reason cos his life is at stake, they want the man never to act cowardly whenever he sense any sensitive movement from her wife.. unfortunately a woman can do it codedly without the knowledge of the man..... It's sad and very bad tradition.... The soul that sin should pay not sm1else

ekineme:
Some tradition though!, I have read about this tradition in some villages that if a traditional married woman cheats and cook for the husband that the man will fall sick and if the necessary rites are not performed, he will die.

My question is what is the man offence?
Someone cheats and an innocent person dies, does it make sense? Before a lady will cheat on the husband she doesn't give a f**k what happens to the husband so it's an alternative to giving your husband a poison just that this time it's done by the gods

In sane clime, for example china, their national award is enviable, citizens strife to earn it, cos it requires exceptional performance, I.e the scientist that worked tirelessly during COVID to produce vaccines, and those that flies the Chinese flag high in international competitions. .

The only solution to the problem is if U.K/US government can deport Nigerian Man and Woman from Thier country and ban them from returning after several reports, or granting divorce without sharing property 50/50 with that the women will calm down... But since any report makes the man at the loosing end they will continue to cause their husbands troubles so has to make man's life miserable

advanceDNA:
They should hit the nail on the head and stop sugar coating it..... same thing happened in the US..
..the police told them straight up in to stop using the police to create false pattern of abuse against their husband that they will weaponize later to gain their husband's properties or government benefits...

One reason I like bet company like bet9ja is that they don't force anyone to bet... But some aving stab their own selves with their own will , they'll come here to shout bet9ja is destroying lives, how ? Is it by force? If you don't have money don't bet... Don't try luck... Greed kills , responsible bet saves.

Governors can make court case for 4 years to seek justice, but will still practice injustice... Imagine the president removing a governor or appointing caretaker governor and not allowing elections to hold in some state... The state government will never agree but this is what they've been doing since the last decade.... Greedy n selfish people... Nigeria problem is not the president but the governors... They don't work to generate internal revenue always waiting for federal government allocation... Let's assume there's no crude oil in Nigeria, most states can't survive... They can use their natural strength like large land mass or investing in agriculture etc to generate fund... Or investing in tech etc... lazy people who only care about stealing

Read the supreme court judgement very well, there shouldn't be any court contention if well implemented as the ruling states that any state without democratic elected chairman such LGA fund will be WITHHELD, so if they fail to vacate the seat there won't be funds released to them or the governor, for the sake of money (our governors like money too much) they have no choice than to allow democratic elected chairmen or else loose money

Righthussle:
In Rivers state, as usual the supreme court judgement will have a different meaning.

The judgement will be interpreted to mean that the care taker chairmen, provided they were appointed by the governor, are legal until an election is conducted. Their lawyers will be shouting, "the judgement did not vacate the care taker chairmen bla bla bla ". And at the same time, Fubara will be heading to court to get a court order from Rivers state high court restraining the president from carrying out the judgement of the supreme court.

The confusion in Rivers state is on a different level

Telling you she was deceived, is a green sun... Mind you the baby father still care for the child like send her money, like they still keep in touch heathily, mind you you're marrying someone who another man can get her attention in which U AV little to do about it, unless you're a kind that doesn't care if not her relationship with her baby dad will cost u much troubles in d future, especially on d boys birthday as they both might wants to take d child out for celebrations.. this is just a little analysis of the don't involve, but U might be lucky to not experience all dis... Depending on wat might happen in d future as it's unknown to us all, mind U single marrying single does not guarantee peaceful marriage talk of d other way round... Nigeria is not ripe for state policing because if they do governors will turn it to their puppets else kidnapping and human trafficking and brutality will be worse and well organised

Racoon:
Yet the present day Nigerian police being a flop is the the one bastardizing the system. Same extortionists, bribe-takers, instrument of state terror and involved in extra-judicial killings.

Shameful some youths knows nothing than football, so investing in football is the latest trend to fix the economy Person wey never chop go see substantial money buy football tickets that will be pricey enough to sustain the club Until we know what we really want in this country else we are not ready... Up Chelsea, up man u my foot...

Nazgul:

That's because the league currently lacks investors. Most of the clubs are managed by state governors who care very little about the welfare of the players.

With the right investors, enough money would be pumped into the league. Thus increasing the quality of players, giving it a facelift and an increased fan base. And with time we'll give the south African league a run for their money. Youths would troop into various stadiums across the country every week to catch a glimpse of the action.

Even European clubs wouldn't mind coming down here for pre-season tour cos our league would be standard.

What a pity for tribal and religious reasons Nigeria have failed to grow, people prefer to align to their tribe and religious person even if the person has nothing good to offer ... Imagine people loosing their lives for a meal... When will we change our mentality? Is it until you yourself loose your life in this Insecure situation or people think life has a duplicate??

People queuing for food distribution no matter the food source is a sign of failed and incompetent government, so sad this kind of schemes makes politicians happy and is a good tactics to embezzle funds and make the people choiceless.. anyone can buy food and share, any government or politicians who have no idea of what to do to make Nigeria better should stop campaigning, sharing food is not a sign of good governance.

Mrperfecto:
I will just be brief without writing too much.

We are based we have 4 children, my first child is 13 from my previous relationship, she has become very terrible, she doesn't listen to me or my wife. She tells her that she is not her biological mother and she cannot control her. She had threatened to call the police on my wife telling her if she touch her she will fight her back and call the police. She goes to school and closes at 3.45 her school is 10 mins walk from home, but she is always late for home.

She comes home around 6 sometimes 7pm , as I am writing now every friday she closes at 12.30 but she is still hasn't come back home yet.

I am on my way to work. I start at 6.30pm till 2.30am so I rarely get to see her and she only misbehaving when I am not around. So far we have seized her phone because we had found so many inappropriate messages exchanges between her and boys. We had also removed the TV from her room and her behaviour has gotten worse. She is behaving like she's possessed.

My wife and I are fed up. Even her siblings are tired of her. We want to send her back to Nigeria maybe in a boarding school until she is 18 in order to protect her younger ones. If we keep her and she continues with her terrible behaviour I may beat her badly and we may end up loosing all 4 children to the authorities.

Please what advice will you give to me concerning this issue?

From your words she usually misbehave when you are not at home, then you and your wife is the major problem you don't treat her fairly enough, no father's love for her, no mother's love also, so you wants to send her back to Nigeria? What about sending the other kids back... Not all women love a child that's not theirs... If the girl was the woman's daughter before you met I think this won't be an issue, and she'll never agree you send her to Nigeria... You're a man, call your daughter talk to her wit love and do your findings without being bias and you'll know why she's behaving that way

Why do people prefer to travel than startup smth here in Nigeria? With 8m you can start a cool business and establish yourself here, you will only want to travel abroad for a vacation if you know what you're doing, people think abroad of now is like '90s..

To unlock the global potential of my venture, securing a NAFDAC number became paramount.

This journey was no walk in the park, but it was one I managed to navigate entirely on my own. My journey to obtain a NAFDAC number taught me a lot about the agro-processing industry, and it made me appreciate the hard work and dedication of all the people involved in this industry.

It also gave me a new appreciation for the challenges that entrepreneurs face when trying to bring their products to market.

If you're curious about how I obtained my NAFDAC number, I'm more than willing to share my story; just let me know so I create a thread for it

In a nutshell, my business is no longer limited to raw produce. It now extends to processing agricultural goods, opening up a world of opportunities for those willing to embrace creativity and innovative thinking.

So, if you're looking to explore new horizons and break free from the ordinary, keep an eye on my journey and discover the exciting world of agro-processing.

Together, we'll uncover a realm of possibilities beyond the conventional!

God the father God the son God the holy spirit. 1 john 5:7
MaxInDHouse:

None of the above was misinterpreted, it's just a matter of updates in English language while most churchgoers stick to the 15th century English KJV.

But as for misinterpretation the opening words of John's gospel was erroneously mistranslated.

"In the beginning WAS the word and the word WAS with God and the word WAS God"

@ verse 18 of the same chapter we read:

"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him"

So is the word GOD or someone beside GOD? smiley

Probably you're thinking of where to start selling online, arguably konga and jumia is the best place with millions of customers or buyers at your disposal,

here is a personal experience I had selling on both platform for the first three months.
Selling on both platforms as a new seller could be frustrating but konga is still a bit considerate as you could call the customer service on phone, while you can't jumia on call as a seller the number will tell you due to covid19 bla bla bla.
Secondly I'll like to compare their timelines in payment for you as a new seller, which is the most important aspect to a seller, jumia policy will add extra 7 days to the normal 7days you're expecting payment for goods sold, I.e if you sell a product on the first(1) of august, and its delivered to buyer on the seven(7)of same month kindly expect your payment on the 21or 22 of the month, that's about 22days, jumia can choose to pay you this way for the first 3 months or after 6 sales, but konga will only apply this hard rule on your first sale, after which you'll be paid seven days after the buyer get their product .
One Striking thing I note is updating of product status, konga will update almost immediately a customer pay to your escrow but jumia won't until the deadline day(NOTE* payment will start counting immediately after update the faster payment status update the faster you get payment vice versa).
In conclusion, base on customer service konga is better, base on quick payment personally I'll go with konga as I can call then anytime to show my displeasure, but base on number of buyers on the platform I'll go for jumia since they have more buyers than konga, Note: you can hardly sell or get shop visibility or konga if you don't subscribe at least #2500 monthly, but you can sell with good visibility for free on jumia.
**this is written on personal observation in the last 3 months, their policy changes from time to time, selling online is not as easy as anything, its challenging at times consider factors like nearness to your store as this will decide the cost of transporting it to their shipping station hence it'll affect your profit and how competitive your price could be with other seller's price, you'll also need good capital and commitment to thrive.
