healthserve: Thanks for your response. He's highly interested in doing the business as he is looking for what to invest in once he relocates back to naija after living abroad for over 30 years. But he just wants to make sure he crosses his T's and dots his I's before putting his hard earned life savings in the business. Being that you are based in naija, do you know any risks associated with the business 1 Like |

Hello Agropreneurs, I'm a huge follower of this sub-thread, and I must say I have gained a lot of information from all you wonderful guys. I'm presently working on a feasibility studies for farm equipment rental business for a friend based in Canada who is interested in investing in Agricultural sector in Nigeria. After some careful deliberation, he has decided to put some money into Farm equipment rental. For a start, he intends getting farm equipment such as tractors, plough, harrow, seeder and fertiliser spreader. Please I will like any information you can share on how profitable and safe this business is, what is the average rental fee for these farm equipment, what is the ideal location for setting up this kind of business, what are the risks associated with this type of business, what are other things generally required to set up the business apart from the farm equipment, how are these equipment maintained in Nigeria etc. Any relevant information you can share will be greatly appreciated Thanks 1 Like |

Gosh! Many people are sick on this forum. CANDYDADDY: Can you imagine this posting? What a careless and unscrupulous comment. Many of you hide under anonymity of internet and write rubbish thinking that nobody knows who I am. But guess what, your identity is not hidden from God. 14 Likes |

Is thread like this that makes me giggle at the magnitude of ignorance and cluelessness of Nigerians/nairalanders. Canadians have one of the best welfare program in the world couple with free medicals for their citizens and very high literacy level. They decide to legalize medical marijuana after years of deliberation and research, and some lowlifes in a third world country where majority find it difficult to put something in their belly deem it fit to question their decision. Just so you know, it is almost like a sin for any Canadian to go to bed hungry (unless he or she wants) cos there is food bank everywhere where they give food free of charge. Canadians are very open minded and whether the government legalize it or not, a handful of them already smoke marijuana recreationally, and guess what, they have a very low national homicide rate of 1.68 per 100,000, and one can hardly see mentally deranged person walking freely on the street (I haven't seen one since I've been in the country for almost a decade) unlike in Nigeria where vast majority are mad people walking freely on the street. One ignoramus even have the audacity to say Canada flag has orange marijuana leaf in the middle. Well, the leaf is called maple leaf just in case you don't know "Mr. I'm not that smart". Nigerians and their hypocrisy smh. Please make una keep una advice for the upliftment of Country that has no direction for now. I love Nigeria but we need a massive enlightenment and brain formatting of many of the populace to move forward. God bless the Canadian government for the bold step forward, and may God guide Nigeria to the right direction

I can't believe I will ever endorse a Nigerian politician. But if I were in Nigeria I will come out and vote for this outstanding man just like I did for Fashola's 2nd term (the only time I've ever voted in Nigeria). Happy birthday to you sir. We deserve the accolades 2 Likes |

If you read through Nairaland threads, you will understand why Nigeria is where she is. We have a lot of intellectual handicapped individuals. Every single thread is tribalized or filled with senseless comments. Our youths are massively brain drained and I find it difficult to know why. It is quite pathetic, and with what I'm seeing we have a damn long way to go.

We cannot allow foreign culture to eradicate our culture it's just unacceptable. While Africans in Africa are distancing themselves from their rich and beautiful culture, blacks in diaspora especially slaves descendants are making all efforts to connect to their ancestral culture. If we Africans want to progress and be counted among successful race in the world, we have to be proud of our history, culture and identity. 59 Likes 7 Shares |

Almost everything is wrong with Naija. How can police just arrest random people at a recreational spot without any reason

In as much as I believe that Nigerian police can be grossly incompetent in exercising their duties, I think the action of Okada riders is very terrible decision that could set the justification for police malicious high handedness towards them.

hopefulLandlord: Well written brother. This reminds me of the parables of talents in Matthew 25. The funny thing is that God despice lazy and dull people, and the way we practise religions in Nigeria makes us super lazy and intellectually declined. |
