MOE (only educational docs) and MFA (all docs) Abuja will authenticate both originals and photocopies. The Consulate will authenticate photocopies already authenticated by MOE and MFA.

1. can i use my WAEC online print out for authentication and can that suffice all through my application for study visa. i am not in possesion of my original WAEC result anymore. or can i do a court affidavit regarding this?

2. will i be needing a letter from my employer regarding my study visa application?

3. can i send someone to help me with the authentication at the MOE and MFA?

I don't think the ministry of education will accept an online printout, but it seems waec issues statement of result to candidates that do not have access to thier certificates anymore, that should be accepted by the ministry.
A letter from your employer is not mandatory for the study visa application.
You can only send someone that bears same surname with you to do the authentication for you.

How do I know when the legalized docs or DOV is ready so I will book the appointment to collect the docs; or I should jus calculate ONE month ahead of the date of submition then I book it.??

During the submission of my docs for legalization, they told me when to come for the collection and I was able to get it within the time given. I sent them an email after about one month that I applied for the DOV and they responded that they had been trying my number to tell me to come for the collection. So, I would advise you to book your appointments for the two collection sessions based on the time they tell you that your docs will be ready.

The Consulate issues the DOV. You need to book an appointment for collection of the legalized docs from the Consulate. Don't forget that you will also need another appointment to collect your DOV.

Also, I think u did the right thing by doing both legalisation and pre enrolment the same time. But. my #ission letter is not ready now. Can I still do the pre enrolment now WITHOUT AN ISSION LETTER?

Well, they requested for the primary sch cert during my own time despite going for a master's program, though they might decide not to consider that this year. I don't think pre-enrollment can be done without an ission letter but you can just give it a shot during the legalization by making sure you print and go with the pre-enrollment form (you can find it on their website). They legalized my docs within one month. To get the DOV, you need to scan and send all legalized docs and pre-enrollment form from the Consulate to your Italian university; and immediately request the university to inform the Consulate that they have received it. With that done, your DOV should be ready in less than a month. Everything I have written here is exactly what I did, but it doesn't necessarily mean the procedure for this year will be exactly the same. Again, always check the Consulate website for updates. Did you do both of them at the same time (I mean legalization and pre enrolment ) If No, how much does pre enrolment cost and how much does legalization cost? Pls what are the EXACT documents that you translated and which ones did you take to the embaszy for LEGALIZATION AND PRE ENROLMENT.

I did the legalization and pre-enrollment at the same time to safe myself the stress of booking another appointment. I don't the cost for each. I translated my Bsc cert and transcript, O'level cert and testimonial, pry sch cert, NPC birth affidavit, Sworn declaration of age; and submitted to the consulate, the originals, all the Abuja legalized copies, all the translated copies, photocopies of each of Abuja legalized doc; and 2 port-size photograph. I'll advise you to check the consulate website for any updates. Goodluck!

I hv on the embassy website but when I get to the page that I shd select /pick a date the date and month becomes UNSELECTABLE i.e. you can not click on it. Plssss som1 here helpppp!!! Or is it that the legalisation has not started? tell me what to do next. I am waiting anxiously

Congrats! I believe you have already done the first part of legalisation at the federal ministries of education and foreign affairs Abuja. If yes, the final legalisation and pre-enrollment at the Italian consulate cost me about 35k for a master's program last year.

Those without DoV got their visas while those with DoV are experiencing visa delay, unlike before that they used to say " no DoV, no visa. Things don change o!

This new polio vaccination certificate, is it the same with certificate of fitness? I went to a general hospital and was told that the certificate of fitness is what is required, that the polio vaccination is included in it. Please is this the international certificate from WHO that is stated on the embassy website?

If in Lagos, go to the Health post at the Int'l Airport tollgate. You can get your int'l vaccination card there. Don't forget to tell them you need polio vaccination to be included, although they will ask you which country and when you're travelling. Everything should be max 2k. But get there early and be ready to spend some hours there. Good luck!
