Bro you would be fine so far you are interested in the biz, just start after you must have done your training, even the training they would tell you to always ask riders for preferred route, most of them are always willing to help with directions (for the nice one sha), Google map also comes in handy play around it before you start work, the truth is it would help you a lot most of us too when we started barely know Lagos route but google map helped a lot and when you constantly ply those routes in no time you self go turn guru... I one time on this thread a guy said when he started he barely knew Lagos routes but after some time he too became an expert with Lagos route and that now he only need Google map to get a rider just to his street, the story is same with most drivers too on this thread... You just conquer you fear by starting first and you would be fine at the end of the day.
NB. Be careful of these guys lastma, police, road safety, cbd, toying thug guys at the airport...they are our greatest enemies in this job. Ask questions always you would be fine. Take the leap of starting first. Cheers

1. I've been using only Uber and it's been quite good alone. Adding Bolt would be better though. Using the two is just to have constant request and money flow. So if you don't have a request on one, you could get on the other.
2. Well, don't mind your stature. Mind your "mind" . You wouldn't believe how embarrassed I felt when a vulcanizer told me he thought I was just a boy been sent to fix tyre (I chose to patronise him because he's close to my house), imagine
3. IPhone is good. Even though some people still complain of having issues with iPhone 6,I've actually met someone who uses iPhone 5 without problems. So use what you have....until there's a problem or complaint from Uber /Bolt.
4. Well, you can use the tactics that have been given by people with experience. But moreover, get another phone or WiFi device to share Internet connection with, I've heard that it saves you from Bolt's malfunction.
5. Island is the best place to get rides and money. Keep your car in good shape and good physical look-you might get good and mouth watering deals on offline, be nice to your riders - you don't know who might connect you to better levels. Any other thing, post here as they come and the good people here will help.

The issue here is, I haven’t been to island (driving to island) most times I make use of uber or taxify or public transport.....and to use this google navigator system dey fear me o��.

Hello Oga’s, I just want to ask few questions about being a driver on uber/taxify/bolt.

I will be a newbie on the uber platform likewise on bolt/taxify because I’m about to begin the job So I have zero experience. My questions are

1. Is it a must I on both platforms (uber/bolt/taxify) if yes, please why and if No, would like to know why

2. I’m a young driver, with small stature, no 6packs, would you advice me to take the job? Though I know you have to be calm to the riders cus some would insult you etc.

3. I’m using an iPhone, would uber/taxify/bolt app work best on this phone or should I just an android phone?

4. Read something’s on this thread about not to lock your phone while on bolt because of the price etc. Incase if such occur, what’s the best way to approach your rider (even if the rider is mad)

5. Could you please share more tips

The Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang, disclosed this to State House correspondents on Friday in Abuja.

Students of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) can now heave a sigh of relief as President Muhammadu Buhari agrees to the National Open University Amendment Act 2018.

He said, “President Buhari has also assented to National Open University Amendment Act, which allows the National Open University to operate as all other universities, having the same power and functions and the same istrative structures.”

The NYSC has, however, been issuing ‘Letter of Exclusion from National Service’ to graduates of the institution.

Before the presidential assent, graduates of the institution have decried the alleged discrimination to participate in the one-year national youth scheme, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

The President’s assent to the National Open University Amendment Act 2018 has now addressed the issues raised by the students of the institution

While stakeholders in the education sector discuss the issue of participation in the scheme, NOUN graduates also lamented that they were not itted into the Nigerian Law School.

This is just as the Act eliminates possible discrimination against programmes and products of the university.

“It has also allowed the establishment of some centres to be called study centres and given conditions for the establishment of such study centres,” Senator Enang revealed.
