Watch them lecture Israel on how to be human first, but they would rather watch 4000 people starve to death themselves.

I laughed my ass off at "creating a China in Nigeria"
That's unreal fooling. A whole China? 😂
The author is clearly way over his head, and is merely trying to be seen as a champion of some sort, but he's clearly failing.

Do we need an extra South East to balance the gerrymandering in Nigeria? Maybe. Include the Igbos in Rivers in this new state though

I'm thinking of the water drainage in this space, as it seems the property at the back is someone's land, you can't channel water to the back.
Now will you fill the back to get the required slope for water discharge?
(ps: if the client was buoyant enough I would have suggested you made some cut at the back to reduce the slope before starting the building proper)

Please don't be offended.
How do you know the rolls that will be enough to cover a given area of work.
Like how did u calculate that two rolls will be enough for your decking
spyder880:

No, its usually sold in rolls, I bought the last roll for about N8,750. But there are smaller rolls that will cost less than that.

Please is the water proof sold in "yards" and how much per yard?
spyder880:
All woods removed from under the decking............

Neat cast.

Will you be introducing ground beams to this foundation? The soil (by sight) looks like sandy clay and the bearing capacity looks weak

Good morning sir. My painter once suggested to me that outside screeding is not good for a building, that I should only screed inside. What do you think about this?
spyder880:

Regular cement is best suited for outside walls, and even internal walls. I am having some issues with this particular work in some walls because of while POP screeding on the outside walls.

I'm an engineer in Owerri if you need someone to build it for you (I can show you my previous works in the town if you wish)

Good evening.
I love your work and I'm glad I stumbled on this page today.
Please, what is your experience like putting plumbing pipes inside walls and beams.
In the case of leakage or maintenance, how do you go about it?
Thanks

There was one i used once to clear the pimples from my teen years.
It worked but it didn't finish the job.
I went to a dermatologist and he recommended a cream for me.
I've been using that cream ever since.

In short, natural drugs work, but it just depends on the person

What's the name of the cream please?

It's obvious Eden is the best player in England because he's always the yardstick to measure success.

This was how man u fans compared him to depay, martial, rashford even lingard

Now it's sadio mane

Well, he'll keep performing consistently, and we all know how the players I mentioned above have fared

don4real18:

Better than ME that went to a POLYTECHNIC... grin
Did you carry out any research before reaching your conclusion or you are just one of those people that went to school for the sake of a certificate.
What sets you apart from the polytechnic Graduate?
Have you come up with any theory?
Have you discovered anything new?
In fact, have your professors done anything to make them renowned in the academic environment?
It's just to cram and pour, do plagiarism upon plagiarism and you come out to say uni grads are better than poly grads.
I finished in a Uni anyway and I had coursemates who don't deserve to brag about having more knowledge than an artisan.
Good day

and every other poly graduate is so good?... please before you argue you should know what you argue about.
the Nigerian education system places a university graduate above a poly grad. But it is not like people don't work hard to break off chains.
So to make my point more accurate, "an average university graduate is better than an average poly graduate"

Really? Please challenge me with your theories and in return I'll test your abilities too. Please learn to respect your colleagues.

don4real18:

So, are you trying to compare the knowledge of an artisan to that of a polytechnic Graduate

all of them claim experience, don't they?

and if you don't understand my write up this is what I mean, someone that went to university is better than you that went to polytechnic because your syllabus is not as exhaustive and grounded as his. Hence, he is more sound in the theoretical aspect, whereas you go about claiming you have experience, which is the same with any bricklayer with many years of experience.
And someone that went to a university can gain the same experience you claim you have within a year of constant exposure.
hardbite(m): 11:02am On Feb 20, 2018
what is the need of a practical knowledge if you don't have a sound theoretical knowledge.
listen, the complications (problems) witnessed in buildings, is caused by lack of background knowledge. I was discussing with an artisan on the field, who claims "experience and practical knowledge" and he was saying that stirrups(links) can be spaced at 450mm, for a floor beam, I was shocked. However, the maximum spacing of a stirrup is 300mm (1 foot) according to standard. This example I gave is just minor.
you need to witness the blunders people that claim they have "practical" knowledge commit.

practical knowledge can be gained by practice, but how about the theoretical knowledge, can it?.

computer science and education, that's my first time of hearing that.

however, I had the same problem in my first year (civil engr UNN). First year gp was 3.0, but I had to make changes, to my 1) Reading pattern: I used to read at the library (during the afternoons immediately after lectures, my brain obviously stressed) then sleep throughout the night, but this wasn't paying dividends so I started going to night class (mind you, I lived alone, yet still went to night class to avoid distractions in my room)
2) study mates: no one knows it all, I made friends then solely based on academic prowess of the individual. this in a way is manipulative but that's what you need now.
I think I should point out to you now that I never wanted to study engr, I hated maths and physics and I got ission through the third list.

long story short, this helped. I graduated with a good 2'1 , and have a complete understanding of the course.

but what you need now is self believe, and determination

A combination of Islamic thinking and our Africanism is a dangerous one

Imagine what the man is saying!

Instead of focusing on the relevant stuffs that'll be beneficial to the economic development of the country at large he's here squabbling about holidays...like seriously!

And sharia court?....seriously??... Who even told them that new year is a Christian holiday....or that the court is a Christian thingy?
