Seriouslyi dont know. I applied for Subsea Inspection Engineer and i have not gotten any invitation. A friend applied for Lead Engineer Floatation Unit and Subsea Inspection and got invited for technical test.
Although I don't know why they schedule my friend for the technical test and other recruitment process to take place in Portharcourt and not Lagos, since the position is to be based in Lagos based on the advert.

The technical tests for different roles are done at different times, you can only move on when people that applied for your role have done their test.

And for the location, they may decide to hold the recruitment process at any location they want, Lagos or PH. Also the location written on the advert doesn't mean that's where the job will be based. But the fact that it's subsea most likely means the job is Lagos based because that's their deep water base.

The whole recruitment (all positions) is presently at the Structured Interviews stage. I believe people that qualified for this stage have all received invites and majority of the roles have even concluded their interviews.
Logistics structured interview is this week, invites came in Saturday evening.

Final stage starts next week!

I recieved an invitation mail to the assessment centre next week Tuesday. Please does anyone know the pattern of this second phase? Is it a face to face interview or another written interview.

This is not the typical pattern as from previous recruitments by TotalEnergies E&P, it seems they're changing the pattern this time around or maybe this pattern is for the Nurses only.

Firstly, If you did not make a 1st Class, forget getting into Shell as a graduate trainee.

Secondly, Shell has some selected course of studies they consider for each discipline.
Therefore, if your course of study is not among those considered for the disciplines they're looking to recruit into, forget it.

Lastly, if you graduated more than 2 years ago, forget it.

yes but when they progress through the recruitment - they start splitting people into different roles. Maybe they didn't find good enough candidates for the wells discipline that they wanted the graduate engineers to go into

I believe the guy was most likely interviewed for the Graduate Internship role. He didn't apply for the internship and they were interested in his profile, so they had to use his Graduate Engineer application to shortlist him for the Internship role.
My thoughts, I may be wrong tho.

First, I don't think there will be any other test. The next stage should be structured interviews (HR and Line Manager)

The interview wasn't up to an hour in reality but it was scheduled for one hour. I think I spent like 30-35 minutes

Someone asked that question in one of his interviews and they said it is not certain who is going to either of the company's, that the company will decide and balance things up. So my guy, don't be so certain ok, except you are the HR yourself .

Everyone that will get in through this particular recruitment is going to ExxonMobil. When the sale to Seplat is finalized, then anyone unfortunate to be on the team working on the assets being sold to Seplat will follow suit. And it's most likely only the EH guys that will be affected, all GT guys will most likely be in Exxon.

I want to believe there will be a lot of sieving and filtering for the GT candidates because some people were unable to do the test in the physical locations across the country because they did not meet some requirements while those who did not meet the requirements and did picked online were able to do the test since there was no one to fact check them.

Such people will have to be filtered first so it might take a while to hear from them.

Same applies to EH
