RAM Just helps you keep multiple apps running at the same time. The More the RAM, You more apps you can run simultaneously without any of them closing.

RAM generally does not make your mobile faster, it just allows it to do more things at once. e.g If a single application uses 97 MB of RAM, it won't matter if you've got 2 or 4GB of total system memory, but if you've got 10 Applications open using 97 MB each, then you are probably going to benefit from a ram size.

Says who? OP, RAM (more is always better) definitely boosts the speed of a phone. Although not considerably, the added advantage will definitely be there. The primary reason for more RAM is what everyone's said already. Now, lemme chip this in, RAM with poor optimization is a huge blunder! Some phones have 3/4GB ram but their ability to multitask doesn't sur some other phones with 2GB ram.... It's a long one but this will certainly do.

My eyes was on ulefone power 3 but it seems the phone is scarce now due to people rushing it. Since the phone is close to it in spec and the price is relatively cheap, I will like to switch.

My oh my! where do I start? Hmmmm..

I bought the red unit from GeekStore on AliEx. The screen is vibrant. I wouldn't expect less from a Sharp display (not sure if it is igzo tho). The build quality is very nice, the 2.5D arc glass, which isn't gorrila glass, accentuates the front fascia nicely. It has a fingerprint sensor (doubles as home key) in the front, flanked by hardware navigation key (recent apps/back: left and right respectively). The capacitive nav keys light up as a single white dot and when they go off, no one would realize there were Nav keys there to begin with- They blend completely with the chin-bezel.


Pros: Vivid and bright display, Accurate colours, Top of the line screen responsiveness, pleasingly good to look at even when asleep (all thanks to the smooth 2.5D arc glass on top and the fingerprint sensor akin to a Samsung mechanical home button).

Cons: My unit bleeds at the buttom of the screen, I do not know if it is just mine or it is the assemblage of components (I found out that the LEDs that light up the nav keys somehow peeks into the IPS display thus the bleed). I'd appreciate if anyone with this phone tell me how their screen is like at the buttom.



PROCESSOR/RAM/ROM/OS:
Generous elephone didn't leave no stone unturned with the magnanimous offering at this insanely low price. Lemme thank GeekStore for the price slash too. The processor is no slouch if you are coming off a MT6580/6737 bandwagon however it heats up when pressurised and the crazy thing with metal builds is; IT CONDUCTS! The heat easily spreads around and to make up for this inconvenience, it cools rather rapidly too.

The RAM is plentiful but its management is very poor. I was doing some heavy surfing with VPN activated and upon loading like 37pages on the same tab/window, I noticed the phone began to stutter. I checked the RAM and I saw 0.99 free. I have only 23 apps installed though (very light apps). Multitasking is no issue though, you can run forth and back between a dozen apps without a refresh or restart.

ROM is the best part of it. A flash memory of about 64GB (53GB usable on my unit). That is plentiful (maybe it is cos I have a 128GB SanDisk cruzer flash drive).. and It has a very impressive read/write speed ( I tested it with my laptop; sent 1.78GB file within 2mins using a USB 2.0 port).


BATTERY

As subjective as it is, My unit lasts me a full day. I use VPN a whole lot but not all day. Playing Asphalt 8: Airborne dropped the battery 22 ~ 23% after 1:20 mins Hours of nonstop gaming (max graphics res). Charge time is not on Qualcomm's QC stratum but it has some prestige. A full charge will take about 2hours from a flat state when powered on using the Micro USB 2.0 cable (rated 5V 2A), it should be lesser when Off though.


CAMERA

The cameras are real 13mp and 16mp shooters but... Oh yeah, there's a but. The real shooter requires some tweaking to get decent low light shooting. It performs well under good lighting conditions but take it to darksville and you'll get noise and mediocrity screaming all over your screen. It is not particularly bad but it isn't good either. The front however is very good. It isn't wide angle in portrait; you should get a good coverage when in landscape..

I've read reviews of the phone from different sites, and the major complain is the camera, but since I'm not a camera freak, one function I'd like to see in the phone is the Cast function.

OTG feature is fully ed, Cast is also available onboard, MiraVision is there too, this phone lacks gestures (we await a minor update), Noise cancellation is there too, Hybrid simcard slot, Dual flash (not dual tone), Mono speakers, Notification led (Red and Green alone)....

A few people complain that the fingerprint sensor of the Leagoo Kiicaa Power is not very responsive.

I have explored this phone first hand and have sold over 30 units since last year.

So it's with all authority that I say that the fingerprint sensor is 100% responsive. Problem is that s scan only one part of their fingers when setting up the unlock function. You're meant to scan all parts of your finger. Tip, middle, bottom, left and right.


If your fingerprint sensor is slow, delete it and setup again...but this time scan all parts of your finger.

Trust me Boss. All those, as described, I had in check when i was configuring my security setting with the fingerprint sensor and I also added the same finger (index) twice to leave no stone unturned. I did, however, notice that the fingerprint sensor responded positively when my finger is placed at a slightly angular vertical position, with my finger tip resting at the center of the scanner.

The phone has a real 5" display.
Screen sizes of digital displays are measured diagonally so it is possible to have two 5" phones with unequal length and width. This is only effected by the aspect ratio though.
