In my case it was her who said she wasn’t ready until after her masters but got married immediately after graduation.

It’s actually not going to work.

No 2 food has same cooking time. Definitely one will burn or uncooked.

So how do you it? Start cooking the longer one first before the second?

The asset was seized on political grounds.
Same year it was seized. The Port Harcourt Mall came up with everything Silverbird was providing including the Film House Cinema

This is staged. He knew what to say from when they started introduction. He sometimes didn’t even wait for the question to end.

Nigerians are Nigerians problem
When there is no infrastructure we complain
Now someone is putting infrastructure on ground to ease traffic a nairalander is complaining asking if there is food for the people to eat
Like I don’t get
Is he supposed to provide ur daily needs ??

Omo you don’t get..

If you live in Rivers state you’ll see and know that the completed flyover didn’t ease traffic. They made it worse.

Some places where it’s built is absolutely unnecessary.

This particular one, he had to destroy an auto part market fully just to construct it and guess what? It goes from an express road into street.

What kind of fly over enters street?‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️

Should I talk of 8 flyover in one road not far from each other?

And the fly over were all constructed in a way that you can’t make U-turns until you get to the middle of it same places other cars will cross so imagine the kind of traffic that’ll cause.

The flyovers are also so low that some heavy duty trucks can’t . And the roads where these flyovers are built are so small now that they cannot take 1 suv and one saloon car comfortably.

I’m not saying he’s not doing well but right now I just feel he’s over doing.

I live in Rivers State and the traffic has increased since flyovers…

For the food aspect, he’s really not doing anything.
Markets currently are not functioning as they should because his taskforce won’t let anyone do anything. The famous Rumuokoro International Market is now a park with people selling chargers and all. You barely see things to buy as food.

Slaughter market has been on lockdown for God knows when.

Yet there’s a curfew of 8:30pm and 7pm respectively.

Now imagine traffic + curfew. People leave their cars on the road with the fear of not being caught.

The craziest part is that a plane can land safely with just 1 engine. Most people don't know that though
Personally I don’t think the plane’s engine was the only fault it has

Here are 12 REASONS WHY YOUR SKIN CARE PRODUCTS AREN’T WORKING FOR YOU

Helping my mom out in her body care & gift store has taught me a lot. A lot of people come in to buy products everyday and from time to time,we get into chats with them. Some say the products they use aren’t working for them, some don’t use these products for up to a week before stopping by to complain to us. I’ve learnt so much from my part time job as my mom’s sales rep and intern and with this I’ve put together experiences, tips and observations to help us on our journey to glowing skin!

YOUR SKINCARE PRODUCTS AREN’T WORKING FOR YOU BECAUSE:

1. YOU DON’T BATHE TWICE A DAY– Good hygiene is important not just for glowing skin but for overall health. It is important to wash dust and sweat off your body before you begin to use your skincare products. Washing your body and face with water at least twice a day makes your body fresh, clean and ready to receive your skincare products.

2. YOU ARE NOT PATIENT – Babe,it’s not every product you see on the gram that you should buy! Give the ones in your trolley and bathroom a chance before you label them “not working” or toss them in the trash can. Research says it takes about 1 to 3 months of consistent usage of skincare products to see noticeable results. We need a long dose of patience when using skincare products especially when it comes to organic and home made(DIYs). Patience is a virtue and you will need a lot of it before you conclude your skincare products aren’t working for you.

3. YOU ARE NOT CONSISTENT – For your skin care products to work for you,you have to add consistency to patience to see results. Use the products as stated on the packages and as prescribed by the producers. Most producers recommend using skincare products twice daily for you to see results. Make sure you follow the instructions thoroughly.

Are you ready? Grab a pen and paper, let’s go!

1) KNOW HOW TO KEEP YOUR LIFE PRIVATE-In the kind of times we find ourselves in,I just feel like I should begin with this. Dear growing woman, not everything should be on social media, there are still parts of your life that should be hidden from public glare for your safety and privacy. Not everything you do,buy or have should be ed on Facebook,Whatsapp or Instagram.

2) KNOW YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE- I can’t begin to tell you how many times I was embarrassed at school simply because I’m not a proficient of my native language. I was told my parents would get fined on my wedding day if I don’t know how to speak my language(I need to learn asap,in fact I’m looking for an Ikwerre language teacher,DM me if you are one lol). No matter how old you are,it’s not to late to learn how to speak your native language. You also need to learn the dos and don’ts of your culture and people. It helps to give you a feel of belonging and understanding of your roots and people.

3) KNOW HOW TO INVEST IN YOURSELF- You need to fall in love with investing and taking care of yourself. Read books, exercise daily, take courses/trainings,attend conferences, listen to classical music, eat healthy, listen to podcasts etc but by all means make sure you are investing daily in yourself.

“Fall in love with taking care of yourself darling”
4) KNOW HOW TO CROSS THE ROAD- This point is quite hilarious but its indispensable for any one living in Nigeria. The classic tip for crossing the road in Nigeria is to look left and right before crossing. If there’s mild traffic, gently walk into the road and wave to the cars coming close to you(its a gentle plea for them to let you ). Practice these easy steps and you’d be a pro in no time!

5) KNOW HOW TO BARGAIN- This skill is necessary in many places except you are in a supermarket or a mall where the prices are fixed. To get the best prices in the Nigerian market, you’ve got to be bold and stand for the price you can afford. If the seller doesn’t agree with your price just act like you are about to leave,if you are called back just know that you bargained well but if you are not called back you can go back and pay the price the seller requested for if you really like the item.

6) KNOW HOW TO COOK-This is a very important life skill. By cooking here,I’m not talking about Indomie but real food like Nigerian jollof, soups, porridge and even pounded yam lol! Cooking isn’t just for the ladies but for the guys as well as it saves you time and money.

7) KNOW HOW TO DEFEND YOURSELF- In Nigeria, there’s no time for ‘shame-shy’ or ‘forming’ so know how to be confident and defend your beliefs no matter the status of who is around you.

cool KNOW HOW TO INVEST-NO! The savings in your piggy bank or kolo isn’t going to make you wealthy overnight. As smart money women,we’ve got to look for ways to invest our savings in profitable places that will generate wealth for us in years to come. Think stock, shares and real estate!

9) EAT HEALTHY- This point is so important in the long run, what you eat or do to your body now goes into time to wait for you. You wanna be 60 and super strong? Learn how to incorporate veggies and fruits in your diet. You can buy veggies from as little as 50 naira and fruits from 100 naira. Start eating healthy, taking your supplements and exercising now and you’d be glad you did.

10) KNOW HOW TO ARGUE KINDLY- You should learn how to disagree to agree, you should not walk out of a disagreement and make lifetime enemies out of it. It’s very possible to argue kindly, all you’ve got to do is understand and love a person for who he/she is and what their values are. Not every conversation or argument requires your response or voice, know what to ignore and what to respond to.

“Not every conversation or argument requires your response or voice.”

11) LIMIT YOUR ONLINE LIFE-Know when to be online or offline. Social media is very addictive and can stop you from being productive in real life, you need to have a good grip of your social media usage. You should not be online all the time except your online presence brings you money but even if it does, know when to draw the line.

12) KNOW HOW TO WRITE A COVER LETTER- On your way to becoming the girl boss you’ve always dreamed of, you may need to work for others before setting out on your own. These 9-5 jobs may require you submitting your cover letter during job interviews so its good you know how to write an excellent CV. It’s simply knowing how to sell yourself to your potential employers.

13) HAVE A MENTOR- A mentor could be someone around you or far away from you. This is someone you respect, ire and consider to have scaled heights you hope to scale, If the person you ire is far away from you and can’t be accessed physically;you can him/her through social media, emails or phone calls. You could also glean wisdom from your mentor through their podcasts or books.

14) KNOW HOW TO BE SELF FULL- This is what social media calls ‘self-love’ or ‘self-crush’. Girl, you’ve got to know how to accept yourself for who you are and how you were created. Learn to be comfortable in your own skin. Also learn when to have your alone time;this time consists of a period of solitude set aside to take care of yourself and do the things you love. You could write, pray, sleep or meditate.

15) KNOW HOW TO PRIORITIZE- Prioritizing involves selecting important things and ignoring the rest. that Economics lesson you had about opportunity forgone and scale of preference? You’ve got to begin to implement them now by prioritizing.

“Select the most important things first.”
BONUS TIP

Learn about marriage and managing a home.
Which of the things listed above have you learnt? Got anything you’d like to add to this list? Feel free to add them in the comments below.
