@justwise and other Gurus in the House. I am presently completing my application online. I am applying alone and my family will be applying once my Visa is ready. Under Spouse info section, there is a question there "Will they be traveling with you to the UK?". I don't know whether to select 'Yes' or "No".

Experts in the house, please I need your help.

HI, how did you go about it? Am also filling my application form. Thank you

And just to inspire someone, I had a 2:2 and got full funding. So to anyone out there, shoot your shots and do not let anything deter you from aiming higher than you ordinarily will cause you'll never know!

Congrats on your Visa. Please which school did you apply to. Thank you

Thanks boss,

Please how do i tweak the offer letter?[

I have pension, salary bank statement, payslips and tx statement for all the years

uote author=tunlex01 post=88310607]

You can apply as a Pharmacy technician; aligning your roles to fit that of a technician and not a pharmacist. That offer letter may need to be tweaked cos Vetassess will not approve a pharmacist for a technician.

Do you have pension, salary bank statement, payslips and tx statement for all the years?

You also did not state your spouse's details.[/quote]

Good morning,

Thank you
tunlex01:

Welldone bro. In his case, he does not need those questions. Pharmacy is always a 5 year course in Nigeria.

He would not need to submit his MSc to Vetassess cos that would not help his assessment since he's assessing for a level 3 occupation.

Good morning,
1. I attain my Bsc pharmacy in 2008(unilag 5yrs) MSC (unilag 2yrs)
2. Years if experience from 2009 - 2020

Thank you.

ajayidebo:
You can apply for Pharmacy Technician. BTW, you do have a chance for 491. Before the lock down, Northern Territory was accepting nomination for 491. NSW is also accepting but with minimum of 5 years work experience under stream 2.

Quick questions:

1. What year did you attain your BSc (what University/number of years) and Msc?
2. Work experience is from what year?

Goodman25: 7:50am On Apr 10, 2020
Good morning good people,

Is there chances for visa subclass 491 with the following information:

Age - 42 yrs

Qualification - Bsc pharmacy and Msc clinical pharmacy

Work Experience: over 8Yrs work experience as a pharmacist

Married ( 3 kids)

No IELTS yet, just about to start the whole journey

Can I apply as a Pharmacy technician as the job description align with what have been doing even though my offer letter state pharmacist.

Thanks in anticipation.

The error is from the school. Have to the school for correction but was told nothing can be done.

First of all, who made a mistake in the DOB....you or your school?

Please how did you resolve this issue with unilag and vettasse.

Dave4eva:
Hello everyone,
Please, I dey beg una. Has anyone had an issue on a wrong date of birth printed on their degree transcript? I will need help on how they were able to resolve this please so I can quickly resolve mine.

First was to provide more evidence on experience (tax, payslips for all duration worked and explain other things). All these were done.
now, on the second , it is on the discrepancy of date of birth on the transcript and my international port. Birth certificate and international port has same date of birth but the transcript has a different one.

In particular, it is the University of Lagos. The school sent the transcript initially with wrong date of birth. When the school was ed, they sent another one again (still incorrect) and itted that the first one was wrongly typed and were sorry for the discrepancy (Yet still incorrect and different from the first). I just tire for our schools. Now ''my application can't be processed until the issue is resolved and that I should check my registration with my school and that the information on my port and my credentials must be aligned.''

The same transcript was sent to WES canada and no issue was raised about anything apart from an omission of an alphabet on my other name on the degree certificate.

And unilag will not even give you a student copy so that you can even see the information typed in there, way ahead of anything. Na wa oh. Please i need urgent help to quickly sort this out. I hope to positively resolve this matter on time. Please assist.

Thank you.

I studied metallurgical engineering and master in risk management with more than 10 years banking experience. Under which skill do you think I can apply. I can't find anything on the long time skill shortage list. Will appreciate your response. Thanks.

Goodman25: 12:53pm On Sep 06, 2019
Good day,

Please i will like to know which course you study and the skill you were nominated for. I studied Engineering and have been working in the banking industry in branch operations for more than 10 years.

jmakinde:
Hi Guys, i just got wind of this forum even though i had earlier proceeded with my own process without any help or assistance. See highlights of what i have done so far and where i am presently:

1. Did my assessment and found out i had 165 points.

2. Applied to NZQA for PRE for my Msc qualification only being the highest qualification i am claiming point for and also sat for my IELTS exams.
3. Submitted my EOI on 18th January 2019.

4. Got selected and got my ITA on 23rd of january 2019.

5. I was giving 4 months to submit full applications along with ing documents.

6. Applied to NZQA for my full qualification assessment for both my Bsc and Msc which took some time due to transcript issues with our Nigeria universities.

7. Applied to NZQA for my wife's qualification assessment too since am claiming points for that also.

8. Did my medicals along with my entire family. Note you only have 2 recommended hospitals in nigeria one in abuja and the other in Lagos.

9. Did my Police clearance at alagbon in Ikoyi. You will get your report same day.

10. Gathered all relevant employment references from all the places i have worked before since am claiming points for over 10 years in my EOI.

11. Marriage certificate.

12. I also have to proof i own my wife using my house address number you both receive correspondences together or individually. photos of important events in your marriage life, Air tickets and Hotels reservation of vacation trip you both went for etc.

13. All other documents as requested in the ITA letter.

14. The document gathering process has eaten deep into the 4 months giving to me but eventually i got everything ready at the nip of time.

15. Submitted my application via DHL on April 25th 2019.

16. My application got to the processing center in Manukau Auckland after the 3rd day.

17. My Application was vetted and lodged into their system on 2nd May 2019.

18. My original IELTS results along with 6 photos were returned back to me by mail. Please note any document you are sending and is not the original must be notarized page by page and not just the front page only.

19. I am currently on queue awaiting my application to be assigned to a Case Officer (CO) which depends on so many factors that is currently responsible for the current delay in visa assignment backlogs issues they are facing now.

The initial process was that it takes up to 4 months before the co will be allocated but i guess am already 4 months today from when my application was lodged. However it could take up to 6 months or more. It obvious many nigerians are not taking up this route but instead using student visa which is still a good option.

Quest to seek others in my situation from nigeria led me to this thread even though i have been in Nairaland forum long enough. I hope my experience so far can inspire others too willing to take my route to start early by taking the first step. Nothing Good comes so easy and i would advise @Hartson not to give up his dream and still give it a chance for the ion to be ignited once again.

Thank and best Regards. I will keep the house updated as i progress further.
