winner37:1. The currency is not higher, the same Ghc1000 few months back was changed for over 120000k. 2. I am not here to discourage you but to advise you. You can check my post over the years on this forum, I have advised folks about movement around ECOWAS states and the s are always positive. CHEERS 1 Like |

winner37:You already said your friend gave you all the info you needed to know and that he was transparent with you so I don’t know what to tell you again. But my 2cent is that “living in Ghana is more expensive than Nigeria” and there isn’t jobs cos Ghana is also going through a lot at the moment except you want to be at the mercy of naija churches in Accra. 1 Like |

ViktorOG:I am just seeing your mention on the Ghana to Nigeria by road thread. If you are a first time traveler on that route, I will advice you go to Cotonou with a transport coy. I can recommend Guo motors and GIG motors cos of the way they handle port stamping at the borders and since you have an EU visa sticker in your port, those evil and satanic Nigeria immigration guys will surely milk you of as much cash as they can extort from you if you make the trip entering public bus and crossing Seme by foot. The driver will go stamp your port for you, though you will be charged extra 5k-10k apart from the fare if your port is virgin. But you won't be stressed compare to if you go to the immigration booths all by yourself. |

Zejunjo:You are most welcome |

Zejunjo:At the time I made that post, the Togolese and Benin immigrations charge port holders depending on nationality and travel experience of the holder of the port. i.e, if its a virgin Nigerian port, the price is higher and your negotiating skills determine the amount you will pay. If the port already have visas and point of entry stamps from the EU or UK and North America, price will be less cos they know the holder isn't a mugu so their stamp is just decoration in his is port. I don't know if that is still the situation atm. |

Snitch24: Your defense isn't sitting well Bro.... You can't use your experience as a youth corper to estimate cost of living in Lagos, Abuja and Ibadan as you claim because living expenses are relative! How do you expect me for example to give you estimate cost of living with school fees in Malmo University just cos I live here? Do you realise tuition fees differ depending on the course of study? Do you know that individual lifestyle differ ? The man mentioned , Poland, and the Nordics before adding Baltic states to the options and you expect him to give you an estimate of tuition and living cost in each of them? Bro, you have access to internet and he has given you pointers, get to work and do a comprehensive research to know which country suits your budget. CHEERS 1 Like |

Nogymmarts:If you are into Tech or Health related fields, there are jobs especially in Estonia and Latvia. There are survival jobs too cos of the nomad visa they are issuing lately, lots of remote workers are partially residing in the Baltic states and services are needed to be provided. Lithuania isn't bad too.... It all depends on the individual's ability to adapt and make things happen. 2 Likes |

Msnbcny: What make you think 500k is a lot of money enough to relocate to Cotonou or Accra? The Naira has lost its value so much. 1. The cost of transportation from Lagos to either of the two cities has triple cos of border closure due to covid out break. 2. Accommodation in both cities have increased in recent times due to the economic impact of covid. 3. Before you can rent an apartment in both cities, you will have to acquire a RP, this wasn't the case few years back but cos the present Nigerian govt have failed in its diplomatic duties for its citizens residents in those countries, the hosts are now more hostile and strict about undocumented Nigerians in their country. Moreover, applying for a RP will eat into your already little budget. 4. Both cities have constant electricity supply but very expensive. 5. Cost of living particularly in Accra is far more than that of Lagos so be prepared. My advice: if you must relocate, up your budget to at least 1.5million to avoid getting stranded or been arrested for illegal stay in especially Accra. |

Ghana last won in 1982 and Nigeria have won it two time after that 1982. Nigeria won it in 1994 and then 2013. So black stars needs to buckle up. 10 Likes 1 Share |

I am always very thankful to God for my wife cos all three pregnancies didn't come with spitting, vomiting, etc. We had our 1st and 2nd kids back then in Ghana, her only craving was a snack called kelewele (it's like dodo but the plantain is chopped very small and spiced with blended ginger, garlic and other spices before frying). And she eats it almost every evening, na so I dey queue for kelewele t every evening after work... But our last child who was conceived during covid lockdown,no crave for anything cos corona dey kill people anyhow here and kelewele isn't available here but she ate lots of peppered fish. I turn to mai suya during winter cos na that time she chop grilled peppered fish like kilode. Women are wonderful creatures of God (the good ones though) 24 Likes |
