where is this Poultry farm located

NwekereNdoki:
I just say let me remind my Imo people that the BIGGEST POULTRY FARM in Nigeria is currently in Imo State and is consistently being upgraded by phases.

There's about 2 in Anambra, now we have another gigantic one in Imo, if we keep this up we won't starve again in the event of any crisis. Achieving food sufficiency in AlaIgbo (SE/SS) is key!!

Let's do well to bring our investments home. AlaIgbo is the only place we can call home, anywhere else that's not Alaigbo, we are simply strangers no matter how much you might have contributed there.

This is why I am very annoyed when sensible Igbos go online and the activities of IPOB and ESN. Imo/Oweri was booming and growing when there was peace, now investors are scared.

The last time Cubana Chief Priest that has brought investments to the state was almost a victim. Now do you think people like Davido would want to come to Owerri again?

Let's the government to flush ESN out of their hideout. Insecurity benefits no one.

Any grievance can be sorted out properly without violence. That's how sane and civilised people behave, that's how our forefathers behaved.

Why are the Governors in the East building narrow roads?

Are there no plans for future development in case the amount of vehicle usage increases?

there is no justification for jungle justice.

These guys are cowards...They dare not do this to the thieving politicians stealing away their future while they continue to remain perpetually poor.

Theodore Orji and Ikpeazu have stolen their future and yet they dare not call them thieves when they see them on the street..

Bunch of misguided idiots

look at your reply....Later you will claim you attended higher institution cos your reasoning is MYOPIC...Listen slowpoke, Imo state has Industrial estate right? the advantages of citing his company in an industrial estate far outweighs building it in his ancestral home..

Abagworo:

He sited it there to bring development to his ancestral home and employ his people. The real "money miss road" are those who site theirs in Lagos.
GEJman: 11:56am On Apr 03, 2018
These money miss road Igbo men and myopic thinking..Why not situate this company in an industrial area? why in his village? Later in the furture the siting of the company might pose an environmental hazard.

This shows how daft you are...So GEJ will build the state roads in his state while while the state has a functional state governor?

goes to show how daft you are

Abogwara:

Gej would have been half a man if he built half this road to Otuoke. I will still show the completed road later.

A group of protesters under the aegis of Coalition for the Defense of Nigeria Sovereignty on Friday stormed the embassy of United States (US) in Nigeria over the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The protesters who were of Yoruba descent are angry over the declaration by the US that IPOB is not a terrorist organization despite the statement by the Nigerian Military and proscription of the group which has been ratified by an order of the court.

Carrying placards, the group said the activities of IPOB separatist movement were those that attract jail in the United State.

Some of the placards read: "Americans! Stay Away from issues brodering on our sovereighty as a nation"; "We are indivisible in Nigeria, US beware"; "US, if you are not in of the fight against terrorism in Nigeria, don't be against it"; "US! US! Stop ‎your provocative for IPOB".

National President/Convener‎ of the coalition, Otunba Bolaji Alabi who addressed newsmen during the protest said Nigerians including the Yoruba had resolved for one united Nigeria.

According to him, the group has been hurling abusive words at Yoruba people which is unacceptable.

He said, "IPOB has also been attempting to recruit and radicalize Yoruba youths to create a version of the terror group in the south-west of Nigeria oblivious to our nationalistic spirit and staunch belief in the unity of Nigeria.

"It was these brainwashed youths that had unsuccessfully attempted making demands for Oodu'a Republic, which does not enjoy any backing among us. The culture of hate speech being promoted by IPOB, which it is teaching these youths is alien to us as we are taught to be respectful and considerate of other humans."

Alabi however noted that the position of the US that IPOB is not a terrorist organization is
"abhorrent and highly condemnable in the light of the psychological and emotional trauma that this terrorist group has caused us collectively as a people".

"Even in the US, every single thing that of this terrorist group have done in recent weeks will lead to jail ", he stressed, adding, "The United States should desist from making decisions from the comfort of its echo chambers, in which it only hears itself without the benefit of appreciating what the end recipients of the situation under consideration go through."

The coalition lauded the proscription of IPOB as a terrorist group even as it called on the US to have a rethink and denounce IPOB.

Alabi said, "Our thoughts are that the United State corrects its mistake within reasonable time so that IPOB would not use its position as an excuse to spread its violence and hatred to other parts of the world. We are closely monitoring to see how soon the US would do the right thing by distancing itself from a terror organization that has the Yoruba in its crosshair."

Protea Hotels by Marriott has announced the opening of Protea Hotel by Marriott, Owerri Select in South-Eastern Nigeria. The 90-room hotel, developed by African Capital Alliance, a leading investment firm, and Kunoch Limited, is located in Owerri city, the capital of Imo State.

Imo State is commonly referred to as the “heartland” and is regarded as the entertainment capital of Eastern Nigeria. The state is also a producer of oil and natural gas and is home to a large number of regional oil and financial services offices.
Confidence in potential of Nigeria

Commenting on the opening of the hotel, Volker Heiden, vice president Protea Hotels by Marriott, Marriott International said: “The opening of Protea Hotel by Marriott, Owerri Select, illustrates our confidence in the potential of Nigeria and is in line with our commitment to growing in strategic secondary cities across the continent. The recent expansion of the city’s airport will give the city better accessibility, which we are confident will further drive business travel.”

Obiora Nwogugu, principal and head of real estate at African Capital Alliance added, “This new hotel is an important addition to the hotels we already own in the cities of Lagos and Benin in Nigeria, and Takoradi in Ghana. We are pleased to partner yet again with Protea Hotels by Marriott, which enjoys strong regional brand equity and awareness coupled with the global distribution of Marriott International.”

Described as ‘the continent of opportunity for the 21st century’, Africa continues to be an attractive investment proposition for many global corporates including the hotel industry.

Why are nairalanders in South East so interested in Ibom seaport? What has the Igbos done with PH, Calabar and Warri ports? I former President Jonathan saying that even after huge waivers were given to importers as a way of encouraging them use these ports they still prefered Lagos ports. So what difference will this Ibom port make in all of these?

Atiku's INTELS is in charge of major port opportunities in PORT HARCOURT and being a private consortium its very very expensive ship via there...Can you tell me more about the major Port activities in Warri and Calabar as i dont know of any happening there.
Thank you
