Soyinka has paid his dues, not many including those who are always using their ethnic bigotry to cast aspersions knew the efforts Prof Soyinka made to persuade the Govt back in the 60s to avert the bloody civil war.
It's high time folks are properly educated from the history books to give credit rightly where it belongs and stop exposing their high level of illiteracy, the fact that Soyinka never ed your favourite politician does not reduce or diminish his hard earned credentials and precious contributions to the project called' Nigeria'. Nigeria would have been a better place if we had more like him.

Not really. The manufacturing growth is not just about recovering companies. Where is your evidence to back that claim? Are you saying there no new entrants to the sector, or that those firms which did not shut down are not witnessing growth and profits? You cannot assess an economy from a single negative facet.
Strictly your opinion. The agricultural sector is witnessing a massive revolution as we speak. Anything that stopped us from being the world's largest importer of rice, HAS to be a revolution.
You stop the bullshit. This thread is about MANUFACTURING, not ''the economy''. In any case, ''the economy'' is witnessing a steady recovery following the oil-price crash fuelled recession. It is not going to jump from 1.7% growth to 9% in a year or two. So be patient, or leave for 'greener pastures'.
What do you achieve from lying?
Till date, Nigeria is still the world's largest importer of rice..
Why are u ing this evilish government

What documents?

Couple Who Met On Facebook Walks Down the Aisle
An excited lady, Peace Charles has taken to Facebook to pure encomium on her husband to be, eulogising him for standing by her despite the platform they both met each other.
She wrote;
"Meeting you was inexplicable because it all started here on Facebook on my last birthday.
My Emperor you came in and enliven my world, Despite all the rage from people, but you keep telling me am the Best not minding my Blemish and fault but you keep saying " Empress you are always perfect in everything"
Ndifreke Dominic, I never knew what my wildest dreams were until I met you, you have made me feel immeasurably happy, loved and content and I know this only the beginning of our journey together.
My Emperor! Having you in my life has been an absolute blessing.
Friends and love ones be our guest on 8th June as I walk down the Aisle with my Emperor to complete the Empire!"
Congratulations to the couple

Its good that these investments exist and more are coming but I have a very serious question to ask the government and the company owners. How much are the workers being paid? Do they have insurance ? And the big one, are these companies paying their taxes and as when due??
See, I dont mind people building factories across the state but what I care about is what its benefits the Anambra man. I have had stories of these companies paying their workers 10,000 naira and what not, while they make billions yearly. They work their employees to the bone and pay little to nothing into the state coffers. I dont want to be involved into celebration of individuals who are making billions at the expense of my father's land and her children.
Nwa Okodu, kenelu.
This has been my question all along

CosmoDroid: Okorocha said the new institutions would be on 90 per cent private investors funding and 10 per cent government input, noting that government would handle infrastructure areas.
So if the Projects are Public Private Partnership and Government is to contribute 10% which is 100% of Infrastructures, what is the 90% contribution by the Private Sector for ?
Government will build the whole School Buildings, Hostels, Labs, Library and every Infrastructure as 10% Contribution in the Equity, the Private Sector will earn 90% for doing nothing?
Okorocha is not mad as people think, I think he is a con-man.
Same question I asked

Atiku is right...but the problem is selling NNPC means that NNPC will be operating as a private company...which means fuel prices will shoot up to N250 and beyond...because NNPC is now no longer on government lifeline.
Then Nigerians don't like government selling government companies. Some people are still angry with PDP for selling NEPA.(Despite the fact that it was obvious privatization was needed)
Nope, you're wrong. It'll create room for proper deregulation of that sector and competition will strife. Same thing that happened to the telecommunications sector.
Just imagine it was government still running the telecommunications sector right now
