It may just be the school is not yet giving offer...I applied to 10schools and I have gotten positive response from 5, without using any agents...some schools are still dealing with some Jan and Feb set.

Did you apply yourself or did you use their Nigerian agents? I think people find it easier when they use agents. I applied to only one school (GCU) and I got it

The interview is to confirm if you're really going for studies the number of student abandoning studies and jumping over to skilled worker's visa is increasing. They're trying to curb it according to a report I read.
