Bro I have always followed NL but today I signed up after reading your post, listen let no one tell you, you can’t !
I have been In your shoes, went to a Fed uni studies computer science, life was good, I had all to myself, my parents did not study in Nigeria so they had no idea of the fee paid, I was boxed up pretty good, then dropped out at 4L yes my final year, guess I was enjoying this life too much � the I spent another 3years out just enjoying I guess, till one day I was at a garden drinking and smoking some jay !!! Man it hit me my mate are all done, married, working, life was far gone, had my classic iPod on and was listening to (Nobody .. by rickross ) oh man it hit me empty pocket, no degree, no more friends at this point they all disappeared lol I had nothing to fall back on I was in my mid 20s also.... ! I knew I had to do something, I needed a degree “for backup “ believe me it wasn’t easy, I pick myself back up, I went back to the school and got a transcript and the sec asked ? who chased me, I couldn’t answer and believe me I had no answer but I was determined and focused, I opened up but my dad was having non of it my mom ed me mentally , because of the strike issue I went to a private, had no idea how I will pay but I had to hustle you can’t be on the street of lagos and not know something lol well to cut the story short I got a course related to comp sci under bus ... yes there is ! I was older than my classmate lol mennn you should see the look on their face when I go to class and sit in front lol abeg fine bobo no get time, ( did I mention that a lecturer from my old uni was transferred to that same schl again and I had to do this Comp Sci course borrowed ooo this man still failed me again after failing me in my first sch, Kia I vex read very hard and that course. It wasn’t easy man. All said and done I finished with a 2.1, did not think much of NYSC till these gov scandals started coming up about NYSC ( fin minister etc ...) sense came back and now I am currently serving.... it wasn’t easy but It was worth it, I am a better person now. I can and I did it. You have no excuse. Do it ☑️
