The road, from Mashayar Zaki area on the Dansadau - Yar Galadima road in Maru LGA, though familiar, was often treacherous. It wound through the outskirts of a notorious area where enemy attacks were a constant threat.
The patrol convoy was driving through a narrow, route to Hanutara, escorting soldiers going on and a convoy of civilian vehicles heading to the market, when they were suddenly ambushed by enemy fire.

With bullets spraying from all sides, the driver made a quick decision. Instead of retreating, he floored the accelerator, swerving through gunfire. He gripped the steering wheel tighter and continued accelerating.
Despite intensified enemy fire with bullets shattering on the vehicle, his focus was unwavering. Though, one soldier paid the supreme price while four others got minor injuries in the attack,but the driver’s act of bravery saved his entire crew from being killed.

Sounds like you did pulp capping probably not RCT. Dentist try as much as possible to do less invasive treatments first. RCT is indicated if the infection has gotten to the pulp even then pulpotomy can be done depending on the extent but the prognosis of pulpotomy is not as good as RCT, but its still ensures parts of the pulp is saved. But pulpotomy is usually indicated more in children sha when the teeth haven't completed apexogenesis. Most likely for adult RCT will be done to reduce number of visits and future expenses if pulpotomy fails which is very possible

Root canal treatment, depends on how deep the hole is. I did mine at navy hospital in dockyard. V.I Lagos.
They would first do an xray, to see if the infection has gotten too deep, then would them take out all the decayed and infected tissues, put some medicine in it and cover it up for about 2 weeks, some leave if for months, to cure and kill the infection....then you go back and take it all out, the hole is then filled with medicine again, and covered up and permanently filled . Suprising it wasn't painful or expensive....did mine over 2 years and have no issues. I think it's a factor of if the infection has gotten to the nerves or spread too far, that determines if root canal can be done. My girlfriend had 2 if her tooth removed same period in a government hospital in ibadan, and till now I don't understand why.
