I'm hardly a close minded person, very logical and blunt in all that I do. I always seek underlying patterns in every information I get and analyze them for long periods of time using other information, past experiences and surveys. I'm also an Intp by mbti and I was also brought up in a Christian home then got agnostic when I got older but on deeper research, I was convicted of the Christian faith.

I believe if anyone were to be a fool, he will firstly be close minded and ignorantly turn down an information without due understanding and interpretation and without stating his reasons for doing so. What are your reasons for your lack of belief? Share them here rationally and let's discuss.

I have a lot of reasons by the way. However the major reason is that I read the bible a lot and the story isn't just adding up. You would have to ignore a lot of things from the bible in order to still be a christian.
Just like how zeus and the remainder of other gods were forgotten once we know more about science christianity and islam will start dying off.
What isn't adding up in christianity is the image of a loving God. If a loving God wants us to be in heaven,you will be in heaven,end of story. No amount of rationalization will make a loving God who has all the power playing a game with satan and using the lives of his beloved children as plaything. If your God is loving,he would not bring all of us from heaven to enter Earth,just so most of us will sin and be burnt in hell forever while only a few of us will struggle to enter the same heaven we came out from.
Even if a god truly exist ,it doesn't have to be jehovah, god of christians which means we both will go to hell. The true God might be allah, zeus or the over 4,000 gods worshipped by humanity.
The reason I said your writeup was foolish is because you tried to use bible to convince me,if a muslim wants to convince me he will use quaran while traditional worshippers will use their holy scripture and the worshippers of any of the 4,000 gods worshipped by humanity will also use their holy book.
Why is your holy book different or special,is it because it says so in the bible. The quaran also says that the quaran is the word of god. Everybody thinks they're special,not knowing that it is possible that they are all wrong

This is a very foolish way to try to prove the existence of a god,I would have thought you are just trolling but I ed when I was a christian and how I reasoned back then,so it is possible that some people might still be foolish like this.

Even before Jesus, man served numerous gods , dieties and idols, one of the reasons God destroyed the earth. Then Jesus came, and he did not just come with words alone but with power, the has never been any other false god, idol, or diety that has sucased the type of power Jesus came with, by the healing, deliverance, setting free, rasing of the dead etc, even till today is there any religion, power or supposed god that has shown or even measured up to God's graciousness for man, it can never because the lesser power must bow, even so, their main goal is to lead humanity to hell since they are pained by man coming to take they place, it's not like they want the freedom of man in the first place.
If Jesus came only with words, he knew we would now have believed him, considering how stubborn humans are, so he came with power, power that has never be displayed in history and can never be displayed except by the power of God, and that why there is no other belief that the devil is fighting so fiercely than Christianity, no other belief faces as must persecution, hatred, suffering than Christians, because God has come true Christianity, to save humanity from the grip of the devil, but if only they believe, the devil doesn't bother wasting him time with others as he knows they already belong to him.

Hey jae,stop stressing yourself these theist will never learn,I know that because when I was still a christian I was as bullheaded as the rest of them. These arguments are going nowhere because the theist are arguing for an intelligent designer and even if there is an intelligent designer why must it be your god, why not allah, zeus,sango,thor,odin etc.
They might break free or they might not, it's their problem. You should be happy that we will win in the end because religion is dying as people become educated and more prosperous they would start to ask the difficult question and as scientists become smarter the domain of 'god did it' will shrink until we wake up one day and discover that religion is just some silly thing our ignorant forefathers practiced.
