They are recruiting for 5 engr disciplines: chemical, mech, civil, elect and petroleum. So it isn't surprising if they are the highest category of people recruited for.

I never got any info about 16th march. Did you get info saying that is the day they will release the list of successful applicants?

Can anyone confirm this. I learnt that DPR is already preparing the letters for the successful graduates though HR is keeping confidential the list of those that are successful.

Could you at least give a range if you cannot tell the exact number?

God will help you guys all. My friend that started February 19th this year told me yesterday that the GT/HND/EH list is very small. He told me the numbers, but i won't mention it here. The number is nothing to write home about considering the you guys struggle.

I hope some of us makes it.... Geo-political zone is KEY....

You said the calls made to few people were not official and also not a confirmation of getting the job. In that case what then was the purpose of the call? And if it isn't official what are we to make of such a call? Also do you have any idea how many GT's they intend to recruit per state/geopolitical zone? Thanks.

Good evening fellow hopefuls.
Today I will begin by apologizing to a brother who posted on this thread that a girl(his friend) received a call from dpr. My source has confirmed that indeed some calls were made. But it was to very few people. He said the calls were not official, and neither a confirmation of getting the job.

for the recruitment, as earlier said, the selection has been completed 100%. And guess what? The list is not with the dpr anymore. That's the good news.

My source said they want to release the list unexpectedly. Because so many stakeholders will be disappointed for not getting their candidates in. The source confirmed so many applicants has been selected on merit!

Finally, he advise me to keep checking my emails and make sure to keep my phone on, all the time. Because the emails and calls will come anytime from now. And NO, the 2018 budget has nothing to do with this recruitment.

Does anyone have an idea how DPR would balance the need for diversity (FCC/State quota) with the vacancies needed to be filled for each discipline?

Guys does anyone know the pay package for graduate trainee for dpr? At least it would help know if the high blood pressure is even worth it.

When you say 'everything is happening now' are you saying that the meeting held today instead of yesterday or do you mean something different?

I have just confirmed the t meeting did not hold yesterday. My source could not confirm the reason for the postponement. Everything is happening now in Abuja. All the big bosses are there. My source said the bosses will not live Abuja till the recruitment is over. Let's keep praying. The importance of prayers at this stage can't be over emphasize.

And even though there's so much pressure from all angles especially the stakeholders, most of the applicants are chosen on merit. Wishing everyone including myself the best of luck.

How do you know this? Getting conflicting information. Some say list with FCC while some say list hasn't left DPR for FCC yet. Seems like speculation all around.

Was asked to talk about myself. D usual 'can we meet you? ' questions . Then d name of dpr chairman. How many sedimentary basins in Nigeria, list about five of them, Then list one dpr office in each geopolitical zones.

First time posting a message. Does anyone have any idea when we would hear back from DPR regarding recruitment? Also, what is the nature of the job as I applied for role of graduate geologist? Is it as technical as a geologist working for a service/producing company or is it more of crafting regulations?
