M.Sc. programmes are 4 semesters that's 2 years.

(Actually wanted to go for special education, but NOUN does not offer it)

Fees are paid every semester and for your first semester, you are to pay approximately N145,000. This will be lesser in second semester. For this semester, registration of courses and exams have been closed; thus, you have to wait till next semester.

Nevertheless, you can obtain your ission while waiting for the opening of registration for course and exam. You can pay in installments and as little as you can but you have to take not of the closing dates for registrations.

This NOUN is a very confused school.

How?

BED students go for two sets Teaching Practice during their studies.
Teaching Practice 1 lasting 6 weeks in Year 3
Teaching Practice 2 lasting 6 weeks in Year 4

That's a total of 12 weeks of Teaching Practice (3 months).

While...

PGDE students go for just 1 Teaching Practice during their studies lasting just 6 weeks.

Why?

Tomorrow they will say BED graduates are better than PGDE graduates.

NOUN should make it make sense.

What type of PGDE graduates are they raising?

You don't expect PGDE students to do 12 weeks teaching practice. B.Ed is not only meant to introduce you to methods used in teaching and learning but it's meant to ground you very well in teaching and learning

. PGDE cannot teach you everything you need to know about education. So just accept it and move on.

My advice, go to the study centre, get your Matriculation and activate your portal. Activating doesn't mean you should pay any fee, just do it incase.

There were some undergraduate students that got ission last year but didn't go for their matriculation. Going this year for their matriculation number, they were asked to go do JAMB Regularization and refill their forms.

Did for a student, waited for more than a week and they didn't work on it. I did it again and till now nothing, I will just use another source

2. On the Registry menu, click change of study centre. Choose your new study centre and submit. A code will be sent to your student email. Use the code to complete the process. In 72hrs, the change should be effected.

I was supposed to graduate in 2023, but I couldn’t because I didn’t complete my project on time. In 2024, I finally finished my project and received my result a B. Naturally, I expected my name to be on the graduation list released earlier this month.

To my surprise, my name wasn’t there. When I checked my statement of results on my portal, I found four new outstanding courses that I wasn’t aware of. I’m really confused.

Please, what can I do? Is there any chance my name could be included in the second batch of the graduation list?

If they are newly added courses, they are supposed to list you for convocation, if not, you have to do those courses.

Better still, meet the student counselor in your study centre for proper guidance.

It will not work for the applicant. The applicant should get in touch with the centre who will MIS to change the payment to PGD. I had such case recently
