Happy New Year Everyone , whew, a lot has happened huh? my shift keys are giving me wahala so am going tobe typing without the necessary capitalizations, pls bear with me.

another thing is that when i am awake most people are sleeping. it can get a bit lonely

each story is supposed to be composed of 400words MAXIMUM, more than enough for a flash fiction, some would even say it is too much.
your story should capture the essence of what you want to say in a few words. the main theme here is a cultural story of the new year. Pretty straightforward. for e.g


lake chad was thrilled seeing the fishing sticks return from the great river. he knew there would be lots of fish for everyone knew the first day of the new year brought the river goddess who summoned fish for the men of the village to carry as many as they wanted but only for that day only. this year the sticks were overloaded. hassan grinned. it was going to be a great year.
