Accomodation is far cheaper in Abuja than Lagos. There are suburbs that you will still get descent accommodation under 400k for a 2 bedroom flat and if you factor security. road network and general serenity, Abuja trumps Lagos. How much is a flat in Egbeda going for now? 500-600K!

Abuja has the best road network in Nigeria and transportation in Abuja is far cheaper than Lagos. You can get a drop from Kubwa to the Airport for 2,500k - a distance of more than 50km! That is twice the distance from Oshodi to Apapa. How much does it cost to take a drop from Apapa to V.I? Or those your useless wooden chair danfos that cost about 400 naira from Allen to Obalende?

Abuja may not have a high density of oloshos but olosho still dey and far better than those smelly Lagos girls. Because I know what you meant by night life you are referring to Olosho ts.

Talk of ts and you have a retinue of serene gardens and parks you can go and relax. Security also makes Abuja far better than Lagos. Out of boredom when I first arrived Abuja, I will leave my then resident at Lugbe FHA and drive to Wuse 2 around 2am. Can I try that nonesene in omota lagos?

HOW TO CHECK ISSION STATUS ON JAMB CAPS

You will require Firefox / Chrome browser if you are using a smartphone, or simply get a PC.
However, if you don't have these �, there is a little trick that can save you. ☺☺ . Just jump steps 6 to 10 below.

1. Go to www.jamb.org.ng/efacility

2. with your JAMB profile e-mail address and

3. Click on the the four horizontal lines on the right-hand corner of the page that loads

4. Click on CAPS in the options that pop in

5. A page containing "WELCOME" will load.

Skip steps 6 to 10 if you are not using Firefox or Chrome browsers, or a PC.

Seriously pay as you watch in a Nigeria for luxury service without electricity? I tell you dey will soon run down. It's good but the environment will choke the business. In this country where someone can subscribe and will not have light for 3months. Nigeria is not yet ripe for such. I wish them all the best. It's a welcome development

Cable TV is a luxury to a lot of people in Nigeria. I am talking from the business point here. It's a very good development, but it may not last cos Nigeria is not the right environment for it. TV is not like mobile phone.

From the business aspect, they will need people to watch more, and if they won't charge me when I don't watch, then I won't wanna go as far as fueling my gen to watch...
So if I subscribe today, I could use that subscription for over a month or two, that means they'll sell less compare to DSTV that will have sold 2 subscription for a single customer in that two months...

This is to inform all Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates who applied for ission into the Benue State University, Makurdi for the 2017/2018 Academic Session that candidates who scored 180 points and above in the UTME are eligible to participate in the Post UTME exercise of the University. Registration begins from Tuesday, 12th September, 2017 to Thursday, 21st September, 2017. The procedure for payment and registration for the Post UTME exercise is as follows:

Candidates shall be required to pay a non-refundable Post UTME registration fee of two thousand, five hundred naira (N2,500.00) only. After which they should proceed to do the following:
- Visit www.bsum.edu.ng
- Click on E-Payment to open the E-Payment page
- Select Programme, Payment category as "POST UTME APPLICATION"
- Type in the UTME Registration number,
- Select Session as “2017/2018”
- Select “Session” under semester field
- Click on “Generate payment reference” button to generate reference number
- Click on “click to proceed” link at the bottom of the page to access three (3) payment options as follows:

(I) For On-line payments using Mastercard, VISA and Verve Cards;
Click on the “Pay Online” button, you will be taken to Interswitch Payment Page. From the drop down below the page, select you card type and enter the requested information to make Payment. Once your payment is completed successfully, a receipt will be issued and you can continue with your application.
(II) For cash payments at Bank; Visit any of the following Bank Branches nation- wide to make payment.
• Fidelity Bank Plc.
• Zenith Bank Plc.
• ECO Bank Plc.
• Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.
• Sterling Bank Plc.
• Diamond Bank Plc.
• First Bank of Nigeria Plc.

• Select Quickteller from the ATM menu
• select pay bills
• Fill in the Payment reference Number generated from the E-Payment platform when you are requested to enter the Customer ID
• Fill in 04255101 when you are requested to enter the Payment Code
• Enter your GSM Number and complete the transaction.
After successfully completing the payment, return to the portal to and print out your Payment Receipt
(IV) For payment using Quickteller from the Internet
Visit the Quickteller website www.quickteller.com/bsum while applicants for courses in the College of Health Sciences should visit www.quickteller.com/chsbsu to complete their transaction.
 Enter your Registration number
 Enter your email and mobile number and click "continue"
 Follow the instructions on the screen to complete your payment
 Print out the payment confirmation slip
 Return to the portal and print out a payment receipt.
Note: This payment option attracts additional N100.00
B: Registration
After payment, candidates are expected to revisit the University website www.bsum.edu.ng and now select “Post UTME/DE” under “Applications” on the “Portal” section left of the University website. Once on the page, candidates are to follow the steps below to complete their registration:
i. Enter your UTME Registration number and click “” button to . and credentials online for the Post-UTME exercise.
ii. Click on “My Bio Data” link to complete your Biodata.
iii. Click on “ Documents” link to the following documents:
a. WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificates or statement of results (not online slips).
b. Birth Certificate/Declaration of age.
c. Marriage certificate/affidavits.
d. Certificate of State Origin.
e. JAMB Result slip.
iv. Click on “Acknowledgement Slip” link to print and submit to Faculty Officer of your faculty for g and documentation.
v. Candidates are expected to present the Acknowledgement Slip on day of Post UTME.
All candidates who applied for Law but scored between 180 and 199 are to take their PUTME in Faculty of Arts, while candidates who applied for Medicine and Surgery but scored between 180 and 199 are to take their PUTME along with Anatomy, Physiology and Faculty of Science.
The date for the Post UTME exercise shall be communicated to candidates after registration.

Payment for the registration will start from Monday 11th September, 2017. Portal for registration and printing of acknowledgement slip will close by Midnight of Sunday 24th, September, 2017. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
All eligible candidates are required to come on the date indicated above.
Candidates are to report at the University campus along Katsina-Ala road with the following:

A printout of the 2017/2018 UTME result slip bearing the candidate’s port photograph (the port should not be affixed). The title of the course/programme of choice should be boldly written by the candidate on top of the result slip.
The printed 2017/2018 University Post-UTME Screening Exercise Registration and Receipt slips
A writing material (Biro or Pencil)
A simple scientific calculator (non-programmable) without cover

GENERAL INFORMATION

Candidates MUST meet the minimum UTME scores of 180, have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure and the requisite ‘O’ Level subjects at credit level.
However, candidates who do not meet requirements for the courses they applied for (subject combination) will be allowed to change to any other course whose requirements are met by the candidates. The change of course will attract a processing fee of N2,000 only payable at the screening venue.
All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed courses.
Only ‘O’ Level result print-out(s) ed directly from the website(s) of the national examining bodies (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of the original certificate(s) will be accepted for verification. Candidates that already have their ‘O’ Level results MUST bring the results to the screening venue. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of candidates.
Candidates awaiting results will be allowed to participate in the Post-UTME but MUST submit such results not later than Friday 7th October, 2017. For submission of such results, candidates are to go back to their registration page on the University website to update their records or submit hard copies of the results to the ission Officer of Federal University Wukari.
Candidates that choose to submit their results online should print the acknowledgement slips after ing.
No candidate will be allowed to participate in the screening exercise without complying with the above requirements.
Candidates are not allowed to bring GSM handsets or similar electronic gadgets into the screening hall. Such item(s) will be seized and will not be returned to the owners.
Impersonation is a serious offence and anyone caught impersonating will be handed over to the law enforcement agents.
Any ed candidate who fails to report for the screening exercise on the date and time specified on the print-out automatically loses his or her chance of being screened for ission.
Candidates are advised to arrive at the University campus on the scheduled dates for the screening exercise at least one hour prior to the scheduled time on their slips.
