I was once scheduled for a final interview with the CEO virtually.
The CEO kept us waiting ( HR and I) for over 1 hour. I exited the meeting and about 1 hour later
the HR called but i didnt pick the call when the CEO was ready meaning I could have been online waiting 2 hours for the CEO.
2 weeks later the HR called and told me they want to have the meeting. We arranged for it but I had even gotten another offer. We did the meeting but I rejected the offer in style by asking for a higher pay but the CEO was not able to meet my new expectation but he was able to increase it beyond my first asking price. I was told to think about what he can pay but within me even if he pay even more than my asking pay it's a No-go-area.
The meeting delays and exit then was a blessing in disguise
HR and CEOs need to keep to time too. The waiting time should be 1hour max
