They'll have to wait for the next 500yrs or probably rule themselves in Biafra. Thank God the last elections showed how irrelevant their votes are. South South is in a better position of producing another president than the SE. My advice to my fellow S/Southerners is that we should allow ourselves to be dragged into politics of bitterness and hatred like those from the red soil zone.

Hey people! I'm aspiring to be a general in the army in future; and I have been informed( by some generals) that before such will be possible, that I have to go through Nigerian Defence Academy.

The issue here is that I'm 23year plus(23+); and will be 24 on 28th of december this year. I'm also a graduate of b.sc physics, awaiting NYSC come next month - october 28th. In this regard and by calculation, I'll be spending a whole year in the program; which means, I will still be 24 upon completion of NYSC program next year, and probably around 25years old when I eventually gain ission into the institution.

Finally, I'm afraid that my age may be a kinda hinderance. Because recently, I overheard some side discussions, that for a person to be itted into the school, that the person's age must never exceed 20... Please I need urgent answer, especially from co-Nairalanders who are students in the institution. Because, I don't wanna go through short service at all, as I'm being pressured in some quarters.

an applicant must be 17-21 yrs old during ission. There's still hope for you. You can enroll for the short service course

Only ex-boys and ex-jams will get this but when I was in Jss 3, the school adjutant, Capt Wesley "Snipes" made us roll bare chested over the length of the football field and back about 6 times. There were grasses growing on it then so we got scratched up quite good. Imagine having a multitude of tiny lashes that hurt and itched at the same time. After that we still went to the parade ground where he made us seat on our heads for over an hour.

The next year the same fellow had my entire class flogged bare back. 12 lashes. I suffered an injury that almost fostered when I got home, pus and blood had congealed in it.

All the same, I miss that school so badly.... I would give anything to have one more week there.

it all happened when I was in sss 3.I was a prefect and a rapper at the same time,someting like a good bad boy. Always flying my shirt which was against the school rules. On one faithful day,the new AO caught me,AO cos it was an air force school. He told me to bend my neck and all of a sudden Boooooom!!!!. My neck was so hot,sounded like banger. Would never forget that day.

is kaka the name of the AO?
