Bro. I want you to look into the lives of Thomas Edison, waren Buffet, Bill Gates, Alinko Dangote and the some of world inventors and billionaires, is it their certificate that gave them the fame and wealth they acquired?

No, some of them are high school dropout whom have been written off by people, but they manned-up, believed in themselves, worked on themselves then took a step and started inventory and businesses that raised them to the level they are today, though if you listen to their story, it was a bed of roses there are glitches, and hard times but in the end they were glorified because they paid the price.

Your certificate is nonsense in this century, what would work for you and bring wealth to you is your ability to solve problems, if you can't solve problems found in your immediate environment then you can never solve problems in any organization, because even the job you're applying for, required you to either provide a solution to problems of people or you sell the solution they found to people's problem.

What I want you to do is look at your immediate environment, search for problem around, then sit-down and draw a master plan to solve the problem.

For example, in my area there's scarcity of light, maybe nepa gives light only for two to four hours in two days, and people living here mostly rely on nepa to charge their phones touch lights and power banks, with the this I have seen a problem, people needs light to charge phone, rechargable lights and laptops etc, I will quickly set up a charging boot and soon I will be making money from it, I could start selling recharge card too and chargers too if possible with power banks too, so u see that's just an example.

Our problems in this country is that we don't think intrepreneurship, we only think of working for the entrepreneurs instead of being intrepreneurs ourselves... We don't want to take risk, yet we are risking ourselves to porverty....

In conclusion.
Bro. Look around search for what people mostly need in your area and start making money from it by providing it for them

Please I need advice, any advice.
I graduated with a 3rd class in Chemistry from three years ago (I only blame myself for that) and after I finished my NYSC a year ago I just plunged into a depressive state in regards to my mistake (my education) and my future (career) sometimes breaking down in tears when I think of things I've taken for granted in my life.

I started working on myself a few months ago and I've made some progress I proud of but every now and then it's easy to be overwhelmed with self doubt.
I made a cv without work experience along with a cover letter a few days ago and applied for a few entry level jobs like graduate intern, sales, restaurant supervisor etc via jobberman and the companies email but I'm not too sure I'll be getting any calls from them.
I didn't come here to get sympathy just an honest advice or opinion on what to do.

Can I do a pgd in chemical engineering or just chemistry or pursue a business or computer/tech course, are there jobs I can get with my degree maybe to get skills and work experience?
I deeply appreciate any advice. Thank you.

your points are fair and valid. But for the NCS to have come up with another list, I think that's enough to convince people on the credibility of this recruitment exercise.

I met a guy who came from bayelsa who told us his community people raised 70k for him to come. Not everyone will have access to this kind of gesture but at least anyone who is committed will look for money buy all means to make it there.

Nigerians always wants things on a platter of gold, and they want things to work to their favour, let them stay there and wait for NCS to bring their APL to their various homes, small thing now they will begin to blame government, of a Truth we're all a constuents of this nation's problems.

An officer told us of another lady from his stay whom he doesn't even know but had to call people to get the lady's father before he got through to the lady herself and she didn't still come. She was said o have said that the officer should assist her when the next recruitment starts. That one serious like that?

Hello everyone.
This NCS screening exercise at Abuja, is it a continuation of the previous screening done in March 2021?
I noticed that some names which appeared in the March list still appeared in this call for Abuja screening.

The reasons you saw repeated names is because those people didn't appear for the previous screening so the organization gave them a second chance... While some who actually came for the first screening whose names appears results from a technical error.

kidnapping high along abaji-lokoja road, candidates coming from the west, east&south at risk

Living itself is a risk, so if you fear to take the risk then remain in your comfort zone no crimes... Some took the risk and God protected them and were successfully screened and returned home safely. Don't come and give us excuse here.

i totally disagree on people not being informed. I know so many didnt show up cos of financial constraint. Atleast 30-50k go drop on logistics,
accomodation and feeding if u're not from states close to fct. Or did u hear of low turn out from niger, kogi, nasarawa or fct itself? Pple doubt the credibility of this recruitment, and they cant sacrifice such amount, hence, the problem of youth, always waiting to be spoon-fed in our comfort zone. I know some have gotten new jobs, travelled out or worst still, dead. Just imagine if the screening was done in each state, attendance
would be massive. Even pple not called will show up. Aboue all, NCS is to blame for all of this. The delay was too much. They should just round up and summon all of us that are ready.

Oga am from nasarawa and we are just 3 that came for the screening yesterday and today, people didn't just showed up or they were not informed....

Serious scam, no exams. Next week is screening in Abuja for people that started the process in 2019,first batch have gone for screening earlier this year, next batch is first week of August
Be very careful, custom is not recruiting now, serious scam

Uncle the fact that you were not selected for the exams, doesn't mean that others were not selected, and the fact that your name was not selected for the screening, doesn't equally mean others were not selected. ... Stop saying what you knew nothing about,. I applied April 2019, I received a text and email informing me of the exams on January 22nd, 2020. My exams was scheduled for February 19th, 2020.

The first list for 2019 was released February 2021. I was not shortlisted, I have even given up not until I came across this thread this morning not knowing that they have released a suplimentary list on the 16th of this month, I had to struggle to check through the 2800 names and lo and behold my name was shortlisted..... I thank God for the holy Spirit that pushed me to come online today and thank God for the Op that posted this in here I would have missed this opportunity...

So please don't discouraged any one and try to confirm something before tagging it scam.

Thank you.
