Kayzz34: Thats not a coldstore or cold warehouse. It's an ambient warehouse and probably temperature should be between 12-15°C. If you see coldstore she won't be dressed like this, and can't leave her hair open. The boxes I see behind her are not chilled as well 2 Likes |

The problem is not NOA, the problem is Road Safety act, Road Safety itself, Vehicle Inspection office and National Assembly. I say so because there is a lot of illegal things being done to heavy duty trucks which causes accidents, explosion and spillage. For instance, a tanker trailer which was originally constructed to hold 33,000 litres will be taken to a welder who is neither certified nor qualified to build truck body, he then uses substandard materials with zero regards to safety, to expand the tanker capacity to 45,000 litres so it can carry more volume. Considerations were not made to axle loading weights, braking capacity, wear and tear on tyre and suspension components. It's just constructed to accommodate 45,000 litres and that's it. There is no room made for thermal expansion of the liquids in transit. I can go on and on. If you check very well, the truck has Road Worthiness and Vehicle Licence. Once government collects revenue, we can all go Bleep ourselves 1 Like 1 Share |

Lithiumite: You are wrong here. Toyota Sienna 1998-2000 had old 1MZ V6 3.0L engine without dual VVTi as is found in 1998-2001 Lexus ES300, 1997-2001 Toyota Camry V6. Then 2001-2003 Sienna/2000-2004 Avalon/2001-2003 Highlander/2002-2003 Lexus ES300 has new 1MZ-FE 3.0L V6 engines with dual VVTi. Then Toyota Sienna from 2011 has some variants with 2.7L I4 engine. Then 2004-2006 Toyota Sienna has 3MZ-FE with 3.3L V6 engines as with Lexus ES330, RX330 and 2004-2007 Toyota Highlander. 2007 and above Toyota Sienna V6 models have 2GR-FE Engines. 1 Like |

Govocrete: You lied when you said that the cost of clearing any car below 2012 is the same. If you mean to say the same make and model of car, I can agree with you. Otherwise Convince me how a 2011 Toyota Corolla and a 2011 Mercedes E350 or 2011 Lexus ES350 is going to be the same to clear |

This is why the car is expensive. Assuming I dash you this car in America say in New Jersey . You spend $400 to truck it to Baltimore or Delaware Port. You pay $1350 for Roro shipping to Lagos. That's $1750@1660=2,905,000. When it arrives Lagos you will spend minimum 2,000,000 to clear it. All amounts to 4,905,000. that's assuming I dashed you the car in America 11 Likes 1 Share |

franchasofficia: How I wish Irish immigration think this way you think. Let me burst your bubble. I live in the Republic of Ireland and to just go into Northern Ireland by road which doesn't have any physical border and on the same island of Ireland, i will need a UK visa to be on the safe side. So perish that thought 1 Like |

I really don't understand why Turkish Airlines will route a flight going to Scotland UK through Dublin. First the Hub for Turkish Airlines is Istanbul and they have lots of flights going to UK daily. Why didn't they take you to LHR, LGW or STN, from where they can easily get you to Glasgow. Bringing that Aircraft from Istanbul to Dublin, for onward Journey to Glasgow will be a big loss to Turkish Airlines, as they won't get enough engers in Dublin to fill up the flight from Dublin to Glasgow. Ryan Air flies a round trip from Dublin to Glasgow for €65, a price Turkish Airlines won't fly for a one way ticket on that route. Aer Lingus, Ryan Air and British Airways will make that trip way cheaper than Turkish Airlines and more persons will prefer them. But in any case, if they route your flight through Dublin, then you need a transit visa to be on the safe side 1 Like |

MIMOSAXY: Visibility isn't better in the truck, only a better view meters away from you. If a person or cyclist crosses by foot in front of the truck you can't see him. I drive a 22 wheeler Articulated truck with 4.35m height and trust me without the mirrors you won't see anything much. Trucks are fitted with about 6 mirrors and more recently cameras. There are still lots of Blindspots when sitting up there. Low impact of wind, i disagree with you. Trucks have higher centre of gravity and are very susceptible to wind impact. The type of truck body and the weight of the load determines how it interacts with wind forces. The Box body trucks, curtainsiders, Double-deckers are often afted by strong winds. Don't forget as big and heavy as the aeroplane is, it struggles with impact of wind, mostly during take off and landing 2 Likes 1 Share |

In Saner climes you get a drivers licence in progression. (For example Car-Rigid truck - Articulated truck). As in the EU, SA and other countries. Explaining further, 1. You sit a car theory test to get a car learner's permit or Category B 2. You complete the essential lessons and the practical driving test to obtain Full category B Licence 3. Then you are eligible for a Truck theory test which after you , you obtain a rigid truck or class 2 or category B learner's permit. 4. Go for the driving lessons and the practical driving test to obtain a full Category C or Class 2 licence 5. Then you become eligible for a Category CE or Class A learners permit. Do the necessary lessons and go for the practical driving test, upon ing you obtain an Articulated truck licence CE or Class 1 In some places you do additional endorsements like air brakes, Hazchem/ADR, Tanker, Driver C amd etc |

id4sho: I don't even know but I know the quality is very poor and that's why you don't see diesel cars in Nigeria, they won't survive it. Those diesel trucks and buses don't survive it for long before the smoking and clogging of the DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter), injector nozzles and glow plug damage. The diesel I use in my car is at most odorless and looks like vegetable oil, but the diesel back home has a very strong smell with blue black color. I am a truck driver, driving a 2018 Scania truck and i draw diesel fuel everyday from the pump. The truck sounds so smooth like a small car, it works 5 days a week and has never broken down unless going in for scheduled maintenance. It doesn't smoke nor produce sooth. All are because the diesel quality and the use of Adblue(a chemical made from Urea that reduces emissions) |

Diesel is way to go guys but it must be up to B5 in quality esle, the DPF, glow plugs and injectors will be messed up. I drive a 2016 Hyundai i40 1.7 CRDI diesel engine and it's out of this world in performance and Economy
