Drop off.

Pick up at the airport is from the multi story car park. Whether the person is arriving or just seeing off a traveller.
Drop off is only at the drop off zone. U can't even drop off at the Arrival side at both International and MM1

Hello All, Pls when trying to pick someone from the arrival terminal of the MMIA, is the best bet parking at the multi-storey level car park and the traveller going to meet the driver at the car park ? or there's a way to pick the traveller somewhere closer to the exit/entrance of the arrival terminal ? I'm not an uber driver, Just asking cos a friend almost got harassed by some touts with a towing vehicle upon dropping off someone at the departure area, and I know the case at the arrival section might be worse.

I got itted into a university (UHD) in the US for my MBA. I applied late and got no funding, cos I have been chasing the top business schools for the second year running.

- I work as an Assistant Manager with one of the big 4 audit/consulting firms here in Nigeria, but with HQ in the US
- I intend going with my spouse of Eight ( months
- CoA is $41k+
-Home ties - My wife is the only child of her parents and currently manages the family's business. I'm the first child of two siblings, and currently being considered for the Managerial position at my place of work to manage deals/merger acquisitions and transactions of large multinationals.
-Sponsor (father) is a CFO with an oil and gas servicing firm.
- Only my father is stated on the i-20 as the sponsor, cos the school said that for my name to be used as sponsor (self-sponsor) on the i-20, I need double of the CoA on my bank statement (i.e. $84k) while my dad needs just the CoA equivalent in his , a balance which he has. I have just about half of the CoA ($20k) on my bank statement but the school said sponsorship cannot be splitted between my father and I on the i-20, although they are indifferent on how tuition is eventually paid. The situation at hand is that I have just about half of that amount on my bank statement, my wife has just enough money to cater for her living expenses of $8k. My dad is willing to incur the outstanding Cost of Attendance during the period of schooling.
- I have started discussions with the school on getting funding based on my credentials which is quite higher than the profile of their average MBA student. They said I can get $2k funding at the end of July while I can be further considered after my first semester exams based on my performance. I can't wait anymore cos of the fast approaching resumption date in august.

-Will having my visa interview at the Abuja embassy increase my chances or I just have the interview in Lagos regardless?

Hello sooperrescue, thanks for your great contributions. My 03/04 corolla’s gearbox developed issues some weeks back which made the car able to reverse only, and not drive forward. A supposed gear-master boasted it was something around the fiber and that he could fix it. The fraudster collected about 30k to replace the part and for workmanship, only to notice that the scammer didn't even open the gearbox but only did some abracadabra which made me drive the car for 3 days before it packed up again. Now ready to buy a gearbox, the mechanic I got to help with the replacement scanned the car and based on the report, the only issue is the vehicle speed sensor (P0500) which he also says can be fixed instead of buying a new gear. Kindly advise me, would replacing the damaged speed sensor make the gear get back into shape or I just buy a new gearbox ? I would appreciate your swift response on the matter. Thanks

The hype showered on Money Heist makes me rate 'locked up' higher. Money heist to a certain extent was predictable. It was a nice movie no doubt, but the hype outweighs the all-round quality. Personally, I feel locked up was more suspense-filled. #MyOpinion. Alba Flores (a.k.a Nairobi) and Najwa Nimri (Inspector Alicia Sierra in Money Heist) nailed 'Locked up'.

2019 was an awesome year for me, all thanks to God.

Firstly, for you guys that have not received any offers just sit back and wait. This is certified information from the HR today during the induction so pay attention.

40 candidates were included in the November batch. 24 of us started on the 7th of November (today) and the rest are in for the 15 of Nov induction so those ones have not resumed yet.

Now here is the thing, the HR said there is another Batch that are to start in December or January (depending on how long it takes them to put things together) so as long as you have not gotten an email don't lose hope. There is probably space for another 40 people (if the number will be the same with this one).

No vex for the HR. They are about 4 in the unit in charge of over 500 staff and they are monitoring a lot of things with software at the moment and they have been working till 9 pm daily to even meet up with the work on ground.

Sit tight and keep your hopes up. They were employing a lot of people for Assurance (Audit) but not that many for Advisory. I applied for Advisory and there was just one more person accepted in my induction group. The rest were split within Audit, Tax and Transaction Advisory Services.

For those that are curious about the salary it is 3M per year. That is your pay before deducting taxes, Health Insurance and Pension, and it is inclusive of other bonuses. So be looking at around 160k or so per month net.

You get a laptop and phone and some other perks but that is as much as I know.

The work is very software based and they monitor your actions and progress so no one is left behind. If you live far start thinking of measures to take to navigate traffic because these days I am not understanding. 40 minute trips that normally take 15 minutes without traffic is now taking almost 2 hours.

The only time I've visited Ikoyi prison was courtesy one of the banks.

It doesn't affect in anyway. Ironically, majority of the 2016 graduate trainees had non-finance background.
