Anybody that wants to help should do it openly on this platform by responding to people's concerns. You should be careful with anyone asking you to them privately. If you get scammed, please do not come here to complain. Thank you and best wishes. 1 Like 1 Share |

RAdeola: That information is most likely in their data base already (I may be wrong) What I can say in case of your next application is that you should work on convincing the VO that you're only going to focus on your studies and you can probably add the lines of no cordial relationship between you and your brother. I saw a video on Tuan's YouTube page. The girl said her aunt in the US didn't grow with them, that the family grew up in Spain. Just trying to convince the VO that she's not going there because of the aunt. You might be lucky that your next VO would not even bring up a discussion around it. But prepare. Nothing is impossible. All the best. |

Ezepikin: They charged my guy 359.9 USD. That's additional $10. An email was sent instantly and I immediately checked my fmjfee page to my payment confirmation page. As earlier stated by other people here, if one store doesn't understand the payment, the person paying for you should try another store until they get where the WU agent understands the payment and is truly ready to help 1 Like |

OyoTunjiUSA: Educational consultancy and traveling agency na legit business. No be crime. But red flag is when you hide under different names on nairaland and try to psychologically hoodwink people to patronize you. Sharpen your skills and get more serious with your business. Give your business a brand name and it. Go legit publicly and let people recognize you. Put out your real names and business identity on social media platforms. In short, go legit It's up to you if being shady on nairaland is what you want to build your future upon, but just note say no be everybody go be thief like you 4 Likes |

OyoTunjiUSA: First point out my name from your screenshot, arindin. I used someone's post to counter your lie, but you must pin the post on me in order to convince your potential victims Sometimes I try to doubt it, but e be like say you be thief true true. Corporate thief. Normal normal, thief go see every other person as thief and that's why you keep up with accusing anybody that is not clapping for you My latest post was not even directed in favour of or against anybody. It's about sanity on this forum, but because you be real thief, you feel say I dy attack you. Na your past and future victims I pity 5 Likes |

Maybe nairaland needs to step up to ID verification level. Would not be compulsory, but at least one person would be able to have only one verified Maybe it would reduce these claims and counter claims 5 Likes |

"He stated that applicants must demonstrate strong connections to their homeland, compelling them to return once their visit's purpose concludes." Hello guys, you can try to check this link and read up for better understanding concerning visa interview. Everyone is responsible for what they understand from the report. https://e.vnexpress.net/news/news/education/us-hits-record-high-in-student-visa-denials-4728736.html |

You think too high of yourself and you deserve no iota of respect. The post I quoted can be found on page 162 of this thread and the screenshot is attached. Hustle no be crime, but always that not you, not I or anyone here is an authority when it comes to the US visa issuance, unless you prove to us that you're a staff at any of their embassies. You and every other person here are only trying to help from information they have from personal experiences, experiences of others and internet information. None of us here is in their system and the whole ego massage is useless. Anyone that takes whatever anybody says here hook, line and sinker, without fact checking deserves whatever names they're eventually called. But you think because you number your responses and end with "best wishes", they're sacrosanct. God help you and the people that would enter your trap. OyoTunjiUSA: 3 Likes |

Agent or not, welldone to everyone responding here. But we must also accept the fact that no one knows it all, else, our education is useless. Mr OyoTunjiUSA, if people have to prove ties to the respective countries they're present in, rate of US visa issuance for Nigerians in foreign countries would be very low, but that's not the case. While it may not compulsorily be your home country (depending on your visa status or engagement in the country you are at that moment), you must tie your visa interview response to going back somewhere after your studies. It might be your home country as it is in the post I'm quoting or the country you're seeking visa from, if you're established and have ties there To me, it doesn't look like these things have rigid restrictions as they're being painted here. And the whole back and forth is not necessary My visa interview transcript 3 Likes |

Sisib15: Saw an update about a UK man that reported her wife's fake IELTS because the wife reported him for physical abuse, both now sent out of the UK and back to Nigeria. I was doubting the story because from my own experience "is it even possible to run IELTS?" Now from this story and the responses that have followed so far, I understand that many things are going on, even if someone like me do not know how they are being done. I fear we Nigerians. 3 Likes |

daram007: After the response I got from UVA, I've also sent an email to my intended department in Dartmouth. I've submitted PhD application since November 22, 2023 and no response till now. I once emailed the graduate school and they said "In most cases, the issions Committee will render decisions by April 30." |

Hi everyone, been following the thread. For some of us waiting endlessly for ission decision, I'd advise you ask about your application status from your intended department's graduate coordinator. For example, I emailed UVA Materials Science and Engineering and they responded that they had already ed selected people, that I am not among. PS: different schools and programs with different methods. Best wishes. 5 Likes |

Good afternoon everyone. Please can I still complete my DS-160 form even after 30 days of opening it? Or will my visa application fee go to waste if I fail to finish up my DS-160 form after 30 days? |

After rescheduling 5 times, I've gotten August 15, 2023, Abuja. I still hope to reschedule to like March sha or January. But my major concern is, would the number of times I reschedule not affect my visa interview success in any way? |

Hello, everyone. My aunt in the US has asked me to take steps and get an interview date for visiting visa, as she wants to invite me over. I am not sure if https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ is the right website to go to. I'm also not sure of the visa type I should apply for. Kindly advise on these my concerns. Thank you |

popolanpoowusu: Well, I'm not sure of the purpose, but ordinarily, I think you don't need a sample. He'd go with you to a high court, you explain to the person in charge and they come up with the affidavit. Something like: 'Affidavit for proof of relationship as an uncle' for the topic. Then the body details when you were born, how being an uncle came up; brother to mum or dad, together with the rest of the words on a regular affidavit. Your uncle signs as the deponent and that's all. |

Onyelex: Boss, please I got South Korean PhD scholarship and I need to link up with you for some questions. But to start with, I'm done with authentication at MOE AND MOFA, next is notarization. My question is about the embassy. Is it only the Abuja embassy that I can go for the notarization? I'm closer to Lagos, but I'm not sure if they do notarization and visa application at their Lagos office |
