Lol. That's how they underplayed the impact governance has on the people until they got into power and collectively tanked the economy and made Nigeria poorer.
Now they are at it again, underplaying the need for opposition until they give the Gen Z military a reason to step in and reset the country. According to Gemini, the direct results of a one-party state include: a lack of political ability, restricted freedoms, and potentially, a system where the ruling party's interests take precedence over the needs of the broader population.
Fellow Nigerians, are you not already seeing that today? We're getting there. Keep dishing out articles in the face of an impending doom.
What do you expect from their usual tribalistic nature

Can you be more detailed about the bold
If you describe Fubara as tyrannical simply because he didn't prioritize the welfare and wellbeing of his people, then what would you call Tinubu whose wicked and draconian policies, masquerading as economic reforms, have inflicted untold hardship on Nigerians?
These so-called reforms have led to widespread starvation, soaring hunger, worsening insecurity, and the general collapse of living conditions across the country.
Abeg no mind that mumu guy... Come to Rivers state and see how sad the people are... Fubara made life easy especially for civil servants and pensioners.. no more borrow borrow.. He paid them all outstandings and even promoted those due .. This was what Wike bluntly refused to do for 8 years... Pension arrears nko? Atleast people had funds to buy stuff in the market.. Market was good even in the .ist of the inflation

A democratically elected tyrannical governor who doesn't care about the welfare and wellbeing of his people, court judgements and orders, should be removed without recourse to the law.

I thought it was a political mess.
Are you now implying that the state of emergency was declared to clear a financial mess?
So, according to the constitution, when there's a financial mess, the president should declare a state of emergency, remove a democratically elected governor, deputy, and lawmakers, and then appoint a retired military man who isn't even a financial expert to fix it? Wonderful.
No mind the mumu guy

This man doesn't even understand what political and financial mess Rivers state was in before the president intervened. If not for his suspension, Fubara would have been chasing public sympathy instead of reconciling with the legislative arm of Rivers state government to pave way for the presentation of the 2025 budget for CBN to release funds to his government so that workers will get their salaries. A lot of Rivers people would have committed suicide by now.
I the suspension of Fubara and the 27 lawmakers and i wish the suspension stay till 2027 so the people can elect people oriented leaders.
