Did the low mood come before the distractibility?
I asked a bit about your childhood for a few reasons..It sounds like your problems started when you grew up.
You have used a fair amount of antidepressants .
The combination of imipramine and risperidone could cause CNS depressant effects.. feelings like your brain is slowed down etc but in a way that helps to relax you and reduce anxiety.

I hope you've seen at least seen a neurologist just to make sure that everything is fine neuro wise and if in doubt, get a second opinion.

With your medication now sorted for some months , i hope you feel better and able to manage.
I know with depression the world does not automatically become a wonderful place but maybe there's a small reason for it not to feel so bleak?
If you have not tried online CBT for your mood, have a look at the link below, also check out the ones for anxiety.
I am hoping you can access them from Nigeria, they have able workbooks,if you cannot please let me know.

About the low mood, I have had it since my preteens. Over 10 years ago. My distractbility issues started late 2014.
I am yet to check with a neurologist tho'. I will try to do that next week.

What is the diagnosis ? I see you are on risperidone which is an antipsychotic,does it help?

What is the cost of your medication?
Have you sought out help?

The problem is that stopping and starting antipsychotics reduce their efficacy.

What treatment were you given for the tinnitus.

Sir, my diagnosis was dysthymia, with social anxiety disorder.
The risperidone is there to boost the effect of the antidepressant.
I was given B complex, nicotinic acid and folic acid for the tinnitus.
My meds cost about N12000 a month.
