As long as a stock price cannot enter negative, it's impossible to loose 150%. Loosing even 100% mean the stocks price comes to zero which is not possible.

A stock can gain 1,000% but cannot loose 100%. It can mathematically or Theoretically loose 99.999% but not 100%.

Perhaps let's have the price band between last year and this year let's see the magic and how it happened.

Only profits and net assets can be in negative and can also loose more than 100% but not a stock price.

R.T Briscoe (Nigeria) Plc has reported a 45.9 per cent drop in its profit for the first quarter of 2025. In its financial statement for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, the company posted a profit of N197.25m, down from N364.86m recorded in the same period last year. Despite the profit decline, R.T Briscoe saw a 72 per cent increase in revenue, which rose to N8.3bn from N4.8bn in Q1 2024. This growth in revenue was driven by increased sales across its operations. However, the cost of sales also rose sharply by 73 per cent, reaching N6.59bn, which impacted the company’s bottom line. The company’s gross profit grew by 69 per cent, totaling N1.7bn, up from N1.01bn in Q1 2024. Despite the increase in gross profit, other income sharply decreased by 96 per cent, dropping to N22m from N545.39m recorded last year.
