Why Nigerian Army they fire gun without tactics like they don't basic formation training?

This is very poor... Zero coordinations

They just use number and heavier fire power to overcome their enemy... Is that the tactics

This is poor we can do better

You don't have idea of what it means to be in a frontline. In unconventional warfare, the ground determines how you operate. No basic formation. You guys will just be writing because you're watching too much Hollywood films. In a war situation, it takes a strong hearted individual to be able to even fire a single shot.

Please is anyone experiencing transfer problem with GTB app and the USSD code. I transferred 30k since yesterday night, the recipient did not get the alert till now and I have been debited. Again this morning I tried to recharge my Airtel line and Glo line with #200 each. Both were unsuccessful. I curiously checked my GTB bank app and I discovered I have been debited with 11k for recharging my glo line. I checked my phones balance nothing like 11k in it.

What's wrong with GTB please. Anyone working with the bank should please enlighten us on what is happening.

Your mumu is just too much. Keep ing bandits and unknown gunmen. It will soon reach you.

gidgiddy:
It is shocking what a Governor is saying just to unleash violence on the people

Who on earth would place bomb making materials in an open market??

But lets assume that someome was keeping bomb making materials in a market. What any responsible crime fighting organisation would do is secure the place, diffuse the materials and keep the general public safe. It is public safety first before any other thing

What sort of security agency would go to a public place such as a market, where they have been tipped off that bomb making materials are located, and you set the place on fire??

Why endanger public safety with this callous act? Why destroy peoples livelihood? Why destroy the economy of the place? Dont these people know that this can cause explosions that can affect people miles away?

It is clear that Governor Hope Uzodimma and the security operatives he leads are just out to unleash a reign of terror on Imo people

You go to a place where bomb making materials are kept, and you set the place on fire? Chei!!

And the foolish Governor came out to back this act that endangers public safety?

Imo people have suffered under Uzodimma, I weep for them

I was talking with a colleague an igala man from Kogi state, I later discovered during our conversation that most of their igala words are almost similar to yoruba words. Interestingly, the man told me that they're closer to the south eastern part of the country than the south west.I came across below quotation from wikipedia

"The Yoruba culture was originally an oral tradition, and the majority of Yoruba people are native speakers of the Yoruba language. The number of speakers is roughly estimated at about 30 million in 2010. Yoruba is classified within the Edekiri languages, and together with the isolate Igala, form the Yoruboid group of languages within what we now have as West Africa. Igala and Yoruba have important historical and cultural relationships. The languages of the two ethnic groups bear such a close resemblance that researchers such as Forde (1951) and Westermann and Bryan (1952) regarded Igala as a dialect of Yoruba"

"Also Igáláà is a Yoruboid language. It is spoken by the Igala ethnic group of Nigeria. In 1989 an estimated 800,000 spoke Igala, primarily in Kogi State, though current day estimates estimate upwards of 2 million Igala speakers. Dialects include Idah, Imane, Ankpa, Dekina, Ogugu, Ibaji and Ife. The Igala is related to Yoruba with which it shares a previous common ancestor, it remains unclear when both language split, mutual intelligibility in modern times is only marginal, although the sound/tonal systems remain the same, akin to the relationship between the various daughter languages of the Romance or Slavic language families. The Idoma and Bassa people use Igala in primary schools. The Igala language, as well as Igala culture and tradition, has influenced other languages and cultures around the confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers".

A 5000 hectares will utilize the excess fully. Why are we so dumb

Where are they going to store the water for irrigation in the dry season?.. we're in rainy season in Nigeria and irrigation is done during dry season. If the water is not released, the dam will collapse. Don't be dumb!

I just watched a documentary on the coronation rites of the Olu of Warri designate Prince Shola Emiko. I discovered that most of the words I heard during the rites are Yoruba words. Infact Prince Shola Emiko was referred to as Omooba Shola Emiko. Some of their traditional titles too are also Yoruba. It amazes me how diverse our beautiful country is. Same ethnic groups scattered in different parts. May God bring peace to our great nation.

The south western people have been using aso ebi since time immemorial. It was not used or picked because of profits or to make gain for their ceremonies. They used aso ebi as a symbol to unify and for people to celebrate with them.

It is very disheartening now to see people, (especially people that copied the culture from the yorubas) using Aso ebi as a means of raising money. May God help us.

Thank you, please lecture the small small boys, small small girls, ignoramus and indomie generation on this platform. They think army is all about fighting war. The level of thinking of this generation is pathetic.

Bayonet40:
D lol. Look at the level of ignorance on this forum. The army has corps which covers every area and field you can think of, and these includes medical, finance, education, military police, legal services, chaplains (Catholic and Protestant), Islamic affairs and many more. It must also interest you to know that all this corps have their own schools for the training of their personnel, of sister services such as Navy and Airforce and also interested civilians. Mind you that the Nigerian Army College of Nursing, Lagos is one of the best nursing schools in Nigeria. You can make your findings. The thread is not talking about fighting or combating crimes. It's educational. Nigerian Army institutions which also it civilians and very much acreditated are Command Secondary schools - a secondary school, Nigerian Army University Bui - a university, Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST), makurdi, formerly (NAITES) - a polytechnic and many others. So I don't see reasons why this nursing school should
look or sound abnormal to people here.

Did they even get human bodies for burial considering the huge flames that engulf the crashed military aircraft?

That coffin may contain some of the properties of the deceased.

I think those officers lack the needed experience to fly the illfated military aircraft.

A squadron leader would have been qualified to fly that aircraft.

What stop the pilot from emptying the fuel to make the aircraft land without much burning flames?

GAZAMA and co Bleep up !

Can you imagine the rubbish you just typed? Do you know where NAF pilots were trained? Do you know how many flying hours this guys have covered in various operational theater including the hostile environment in the North East. You guys will just open your mouth and talk rubbish on social media. Let me tell you in life, experience is not by age or rank.

Our soldiers have recovered and detonated uncountable numbers of IED/mines in various areas in the North East. I've never heard of any incident where there's casualties or injuries in the process of removing them. The NA Engineers actually train soldiers in performing these tasks. Even with little kits or equipment, our soldiers perform the job wonderfully. May God continue to bless our soldiers and keep them safe. Well done guys!.

What I still don’t understand is why it’s only University and Polytechnic staff that have issues with IPPIS irregularities. How come other parastatals seem to be immune?

That's how the IPPIS operates. There will be discrepancies at the beginning but it will later normalise. All the balances of the incompleted salaries will surely be paidbin a short while. Same thing happened with other federal agencies, military and para military. Universities and Polytechnics are complaining because maybe there are some illegal or illegitimate money they collect before the introduction of IPPIS. With IPPIS, you'll collect only your salary and legitimate Allowances. Any other unauthorised money flow will be closed.

The manner the media and civilians carelessly bash the military online without bothering to check further and realise that there are more to every stories is alarming and demoralising. Remove the military and see Nigerian streets becoming extremely intolerable and the terrorist migrating straight to our door mouths. Let's change our mindsets about the military. A SET-MIND is not good I'm judgement. The question is "Was the military hospital informed before they stormed the place?" So disrespectful to the military even.

Please kindly explain to them very well. Civilians don't know how things are done in the military. They're always too quick to judge the military. There are procedures for doing things in the military. 'Critical Thinking' is used in everything.
