This reagent is used in controlling the quality of range of soya bean product which include Soya bean meal, full fat soya, Soya cake, soya powder, etc. It helps you to check the cooking status of the samples. Cooking of SBM and co during their processing serves to remove trypsin/protease inhibitors and other anti-nutritional factors which serve to disturb release of protein. When it is not well processed, protein utilization will be hindered/disturbed and this will result in poor digestibility which eventually lead to reduced productivity, poor egg development or small egg size, poor meat development in broilers and sudden death in chicks.

This reagent will help your decision making in accepting or rejecting a particular batch of supply of SBM and others. When you use a badly processed SBM in your feed, it is an invitation for trouble and a waste of hard earned money. Please, avoid such wastage by conducting the cook test at your convenience.
