The price of United Capital Plc was adjusted today, 9th March, 2018 for a dividend of N0.35 as declared by the board of directors. The last close price was N4.00 hence the ex-div price N3.65.

Resort Savings and Loans secures $250 million finance from Milost Global

In a notice sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) today has announced a financing agreement with Milost Global, a private equity firm. As part of the of the agreement, Milost will invest $250 million in the bank comprising $100 million as equity capital and $150 million as debt.

The transaction will take place through a private placement, subject to the approval of the NSE, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Resort Savings in December last year, had notified stakeholders that it was in talks with a local investor to invest ₦8 billion in the bank. Talks regarding this, are still ongoing.

For your info, I work as a public servant at federal level. These are part of questions asked in some of our promotion exams. Few private organisation do direct tax of their workers. The example of bank you mentioned are directly under government before and even owed by it. They ate still operating under the strict law that established it. Can you conveniently say with these 100 private companies, 10 do direct taxing. My first employment was with textile industry, follow by teaching job to my current employment at the federal level. Just to tell you I have past through all sectors of employment.

Private security firms guiding coys like MTN, GTB, EcoBank, Chevron, Access Bank and British International School. Remit PAYE for all staffs to state government.
